I'm on my 3rd tray of Invisalign and it's been great. I've never had an speech issues since the beginning so for those of you who are worried about how noticeable it is, don't. I've never had anyone notice my trays or felt any difference in speech from the very beginning. In addition, it has been relatively painless and much faster with much better results that I could have hoped for. So glad I decided to do it when people my age don't have braces. Not a big impact at all. My teeth are perfect already to the naked eye but we're doing one more set b/c they want to make it perfect. Hello, I'm a 29 year old male, and today was my final visit with Dr. Kravitz and staff. After more than 3 years, I could not be happier with my results, the process, and the excellent customer service throughout. I'm extremely grateful for finding Kravitz Orthodontics. Here's my journey: I went to see Dr. Kravitz when I was 25 years old asking for Invisalign. At that time, I previously had braces from a different provider and still had an adult cross-bite. I was unhappy with my smile and desired improvement. What has happened since has exceeded all my expectations. At Dr. Kravitz suggestion, we started the process with fitting me with an expander. As an adult, it's extremely difficult to expand the jaw bone, but it worked like a charm. The expander created space and has allowed my teeth to sit comfortably ontop of each other (cross-bite gone!). My smile looked much better simply from the width created. Next came multiple rounds of Invisalign treatment. Invisalign at Kravitz Orthodontics has been designed seamlessly for us patients. I was scanned in office, then Dr. Kravitz would analyze my scans and provide his recommendations on which teeth to focus on for optimal movements. The trays would take a few weeks to arrive in office. After multiple rounds of Invisalign (each round roughly 6-9 months) my smile dramatically improved. My confidence has increased tenfold. Final note of gratitude: I moved from Sterling to Arlington in the middle of my treatment. Dr. Kravitz and staff began generously offering to ship me my Invisalign trays to reduce the number of times I had to commute to the Ashburn office (no charge!). It was labor day weekend and my crown and cap fell out. I called my dentist and oral surgeon and neither of them could see me to put it back in. So now I was missing my front tooth and had to work over the weekend. I sent Dr. Kravitz (who did my invisalign) a message that night, and he responded to my message within minutes. He told me to come in the next morning and he would make me a retainer with a flipper. I went in the next morning and got my retainer and flipper just an hour later. I was able to return to work that weekend and go out in public without feeling uncomfortable. His staff is great and he is awesome! I HIGHLY recommend!! read more

My 14 year old has ADHD and had issues with his retainers a different practice provided. I switched him to Dr. Kravitz who actually listened to what my son had to say, and found a solution that would work for him. We are also thankful for Dr. Kravitz's lifetime retainer policy which is very generous! My 12 year old son is missing 2 adult teeth, and Dr. Kravitz thoroughly explained the treatment plan to include reshaping two of his teeth perfectly. You can't even tell they are missing! I couldn't be more pleased with the care I received at Kravitz Orthodontics! My kids and I had Invisalign done at another very popular orthodontist in the past. They were very fancy with free coffee and lip balm but would charge us at every turn for replacement retainers or additional scans. If you're looking to get braces for yourself, or your child, and you have the opportunity/fortune/luck to live in the area where Dr Kravitz practices. You have two things to do. Run, don't walk, to Loudoun 1 and get an assessment, and 2, buy lottery tickets, because the fates and lady luck are smiling upon you in ways that defy statistics, and the odds are in your favor. I have a giant melon that took 7 years of orthodontics to fix back in the dark ages known as the 80's. My wife has a fairly narrow head that had minimal issues with orthodontics for two years. Our kids have the worst of both worlds, and the kind of mouths that require a doctorate in geometry to figure out, and have given PTSD to at least 3 orthodntists who are now "relaxing" in a sleeveless tux at Shady Grove Institute, where they rock back and forth saying "those teeth..... unnatural.....Those teeth..... Unatural..." But even if you don't have a mix of genetics that would cause a SciFi writer to cry, you will not find a better practitioner of the Orthodontic arts than Dr. Kravitz. For many, many reasons. He has taken advanced training beyond his dental degree. You can be an orthodontist just by taking a few classes and then hanging out your shingle (such as my case of 7 years of being a "brace face") Dr. Kravitz actually got a masters in this. He's on the cutting edge of the medical side of this field. You wouldn't think that there are a number of scientific journals that are dedicated to orthodontics. And you'd be wrong. Just like there are 9 journals that cover structural geology, there are well more than 9 for orthodontics. And, he's read them all, he's taken short-courses in new techniques, and completely unbelievably, he's actually PUBLISHED in several of these. You will be very hard pressed to find someone who is a practicing medical provider who is not in academia publishing in anything. I am a researcher for the government. My job is to publish papers of my work. He does this after working on abstract art in someone's mouth for 10 hours a day. Oh, and did I mention he's considered a miracle to the special needs parents in Northern Virginia? Trying to find a provider who's also trained in working with special needs kids is a nightmare, but Dr. Kravitz's name pops up universally in the parent groups when someone asks for a reference. This has been the way for at least 10 years. He is the first provider I watched without anxiety as he led my kid to the chair and was able to do an examination without me hovering over and her starting to panic. There are many, many other things he does as a member of the community, but I don't have time to write a second dissertation on this, and you're probably only concerned with technical skills, and affordability. There are hundreds of licensed orthodontists in the area who have passed their licensing exams. He has passed on so many other aspects of being a good provider and more importantly a great human being, I wouldn't consider recommending anyone else. There is no need. read more

It's funny that his office is listed as "closed" at 10am on a Sunday since Neal Kravitz saw my son on Thanksgiving when he broke a bracket one year. He's been the only one in his office on heavy snow days, keeping his staff safe, but there to help his patients. And he just offered to do some minor "repair" work while my son is home from college (even though we haven't been patients in several years) just because he CARES! I've never met a medical practitioner as excellently competent and truly kind as Neal Kravitz!
