My husband and I both had such a wonderful experience at this dental practice! It's run by a father and son duo with a team of friendly, engaging assistants and front desk. The office itself is modern and clean, complete with a fridge filled with bottled water in the waiting area. Patient forms are filled out through the computer which makes it so much easier than manual paperwork (and saves tons of trees too!). They also have a location in Burke, but we opted to visit the Fair Lakes office since we live close by. Since it's in the Fair Lakes Shopping Center, there's plentiful parking. We were both seen by Dr. Elham (the son) and he was personable and honest during our experience, which made us feel comfortable with him right away. He explained our x-rays thoroughly and walked us through areas of potential concern. Additionally, he provided us with treatment plans to move forward with. Our cleanings were meticulous and the tools he utilizes are innovative compared to the older tools that other dentists continue to use, which made our visit more enjoyable. The office was offering special promotions and he wasn't pushy at all in upselling and made it more informative and as a "nice to have" if we were interested. Dr. D and his team are simply wonderful! Going to the dentist used to make me feel horrible, and I dreaded it. From my very first interaction with Dr. D and his entire team, they helped me feel at ease, comfortable, and totally supported. The fact that it's a family-owned practice is a huge plus. Everyone was outstanding and very professional while still making you feel comfortable! They recently refreshed their space and the difference shows. As a person with over 30 years experience in dentistry I can say that Dr. Dehyar ( both Father and son) are very knowledgeable and excellent clinicians. My husband and I have cleanings and exams routinely and have been very satisfied. They have always been very thorough and discussed their findings so we can make a plan for the necessary work, which has always been of the highest quality. Never have they recommended work that wasn't needed. The entire office staff is very competent and always very polite and helpful. BEST DENTAL EXPERIENCE!!!!!!!!! I have always been afraid of dentists. In the past few years my experience with dentists have been very bad so I stopped going. After two years of not seeing a dentist, my teeth started to bother me, I had no choice but to find a dentist....quick! Without any dental insurance I was not only nervous about seeing a dentist, I was also worried about be able to pay for it. I was given Dental's name by a co-worker. I hesitantly made an appointment. I was surprised at how friendly everyone there was. They are reasonably priced and offer payment plans. I was very uncomfortable and nervous, but they set my fears at ease instantly. The Doctor gave me a treatment plan to help get me back on track with my teeth. I have been there three times already and each time it gets easier. I was very impressed with how they managed patients during the coronavirus, With temperature checks, cell phone text messages, and a notice telling you to stay in your car until your appointment is ready. I totally agreed with one of the one star reviews in here. This doctor cares more about making maximum profit than anything else. I came to this office the first time was because I saw some good reviews. I wish I have seen the 1 start review before I went there. =( Now thinking about it, it's probably true that all the reviews were written by his people. The first time I got there, he was being very nice and showed how much he cared about my dental health. Then he suggested that I need bonding for my teeth to protect the sensitive areas. So I said okay, that's a good idea. The next thing I know, he put 11 bondings on me and charged my insurance for $110 each tooth, plus I had to pay $15 for each tooth out of pocket on the top of the $50 deductible! That's $1,425 total!!!! Two of my teeth got even worse after his work. I went back and told him that those two teeth are very sensitive and it hurts when I brush my teeth. He didn't admit that it was caused by his work of course. Instead, he said, oh, you need a night guard. Then he showed me this video of how important a night guard is so I paid another $380 for the night guard because it's not covered by insurance. A few months later, I went to get my teeth cleaned. He didn't even clean my teeth, it was done by a dental hygienists! It was so painful and unpleasant. I guess after finished milking both my insurance and me, there's not much he needs to work on anymore right? Oh no, there's always a way for him to maximize profit without work! After the teeth cleaning, they handed me a cup of mouth wash. I rinsed and headed to the counter to check out. Then the receptionist said, for this visit, you have to pay $20. So I asked what was it for. And she said, you used fluoride to rinse after cleaning right? That's $20, insurance doesn't cover. WTF! Really? You can get a bottle of fluoride at a local pharmacy for less than $8 and it will last you for a month or more! This office is super greedy and is just trying to maximize profit. So after those 11 bondings, I realized that a lot of my teeth didn't even need them. And from time to time, my gums have gotten swollen. I went to see another dentist, then I was told that the bonding was done so poorly that the they were covering my gum and causing them to swell. What the hell!!!! I just paid another $98 out of pocket to have those removed by my new dentist! Please stay away from this place. Milking your insurance and making you pay is one thing and performing unnecessary work on you is unethical. But causing more damage to your teeth in order for you to go back so that he could milk you more? That's pure evil! read more

I have been going here for approximately 5 years. Dr. Dehyar (father and son) are the only Dentists I trust. I have always hated the dentist and feared going. I moved an hour away and still drive an hour to come to their office and will continue to do so as long as they are open. Their office is an office with a lot of integrity and patience. I am mortified with the clean I had done today. I had recently visited this Dentist 6 months ago when I had my first clean with them. They had given my teeth a good clean and got rid of coffee and tea stains and flossed and spent a good 15-20 minutes on my teeth, but today the dentist had me sit in the chair for 20 minutes waiting for him while he was talking to another customer in the next chair. Then when it came time to do my clean, he literally spent 3 minutes cleaning my teeth, I do a better job at cleaning my teeth when I brush them. He didn't floss and it felt like he was rushing me out the door. I still have light superficial stains on my teeth that he could have easily taken care of, if he was even paying attention to what he was doing. What a sloppy job. First be aware of that mouthwash they give you at the end, it's for them to make quick $20 without telling you. If I knew that, why would I pay $20 for a mouthwash! Like others have said, he's more about making money than doing a decent job. Walked in, came out after half hour with about $1k in charges. He also does not guarantee his work, so whatever he did breaks or fails, you will be charged again to get them fixed. Not sure if they are losing customers, but don't be surprised if you get same day appointments. When I walk in, it looked like they were figuring out ways to squeeze every penny out of me. Hec, even some of their equipment are still shrink wrapped because they probably want to recoup more when they sell them. And he just did my cleaning way too fast compared to other dentist I've been to. Sigh. Time to look for a different dentist. read more

Dr. Dehyar is good but he does try to get every dollar he can from your yearly insurance plan whether you need it or not, he will tell you to get the latest technology for crowns, fillings, and whatever he can find to add to your bill. He says you pay for your insurance, your premiums, and you should get the most out of your insurance benefit each year. The priority to him is to bleed your insurance dry each year. I had a crown done and received several different quotes for the cost. I had an awful experience on the phone with the administrator as she was hard to understand, stubborn, and unwilling to explain the costs to me. I told her I would not be back - ever. read more
