I admit, I'm a big chicken when it comes to dentists. However, I've been seeing Dr Ton for several years now and she is terrific! Very funny and caring for scared people like me. Today I had a deep cleaning with dental hygienist Maryiam and I was so nervous (bordering on panic attack), but she was absolutely fantastic with me! She explained (well) everything that she was going to do during the procedure, she numbed me up very quickly and thoroughly, and often asked if I was ok and/or needed to take a break. The time went by quickly so before I realized it, my appt was over (and I survived!). I fully credit Maryiam w/ the great experience! read more

Went here for the first time recently, when searching for a new dentist, and loved it. Everyone that I interacted with on the phone and in the office (receptionists, etc) was super-nice and pleasant, and Dr. Ton cleaned my teeth herself. Could have been because I was a first-time patient, but regardless, she of course did a great job, and is a really pleasant, funny person. I hate the dentist, I really do. But this one was really great. When I was reading reviews of dentist in my area I was horrified about how many people complained they were told they needed extra work and felt they were bilking their insurance, this place did not have any complaints like that, none at all. From the time I called the make an appointment everyone was super nice. They were able to squeeze me in just when I wanted to come in and was greeted right away when I walked in. The dental hygienist, Chris, explained everything he was doing, was super nice and made me feel comfortable the whole time. It was the best trip to the dentist I have had and actually look forward to going back in six months. read more

Not only did Dr. Amy Ton refrain from recommending expensive, unnecessary procedures when they were available as options, she even pointed out which of my previous work was probably unnecessary as well. I felt confident that she was giving me honest, non-self-serving advice that would give me the best value for my dollar, something that elevates her practice high above all others I've ever experienced. I repeat, the value of such honesty, to me, is monumental both in terms of dollar cost and the well-being of my mouth, and it was evident within a minute of speaking to her that it's just endemic to her personality. I can also testify that Dr. Ton's Lidocaine injections were the most painless I've ever (not) felt, as were Chris' on a separate visit. Cavity fillings: ZERO pain throughout the entire procedure. I've been visiting Wilson as my dentist for almost three years now and I've had a good experience. Previous dentists didn't really explain a lot about what was going on with my teeth and just kept doing procedures that I signed off on and by the time I got here some dentists were advising me to put crowns on basically half my teeth. Wilson's a bit more conservative about preserving your natural teeth and the whole office has been helpful in giving me different tips that most hygienists just never gave in my experience and I've been pretty happy with the results. Only reason for not giving 5 stars because massage chairs and TVs are provided by some really posh dentists at probably rather high costs to the patients eventually and gosh, I dislike rating inflation. read more

I am a patient at Sunrise Dental in Issaquah and I want to highly recommend them to anyone who is needing needing dental implants or general dental care! The whole staff is simply amazing friendly and professional! Run Prabjot and his wife Aman are two really passionate individuals who care very much about their patients! I spent several hours there yesterday with Dr. Jagjeet Singh having two implants begun and what great work he did! I experienced very little pain or discomfort during the whole procedure, I slept fine last night and today no pain, swelling or discomfort at all! Kudos to the doctor! I am NOT good with dentists... I never have been... but I actually enjoy going to the dentist now! Imagine that?!? I've been going to Sunrise Dental for 10 years now. I started going here because it was near my office, but in the meantime my office has moved. My experience with Sunrise Dental has always been absolutely wonderful. I did try a few other dental offices that were loser to my home/office, but in the end I came back to Sunrise Dental because they are simply the best. It's worth the extra miles. I have been going to Sunrise Dental in Reston, VA for many years and seeing Dr Wilson Kim. I cannot say enough good things about him. Whether he was treating my complicated bite issues or occasional dental problems in the beginning, he always explained to me what my options were. I had been seeing another doctor for correcting my bite and had been chronically ill for many years which took a toll on my teeth. I ended up needing a complete restoration of all my teeth which was scary to think about. But Dr Kim did such an excellent job and I had no anxiety about all the work I had to have. He is such a compassionate and skillful doctor, he really knows what he is doing in his treatment. He is gental, friendly, caring and very trustworthy. The other people in his office also share the same traits, they are all awesome.... his assistants, the hygenists and the front desk staff....... Always friendly and compassionate. I highly recommend this dental office for minor or major dental issues. They all had a part in giving me my life back and a pretty smile to boot. read more

Good dentists are hard to find, but I can say with absolute certainty that Dr. Ton is my favorite. She's personable, she's great at what she does, and she's a wizard with a needle. I'm terrified of needles, but if I know I have to have any work done, I don't get nervous when I'm going to see Dr. Ton because she makes it just about painless. I don't think anyone likes going to the dentist, but Dr. Ton's personality makes it a lot more comforting. Everyone in the office is great and I can't recommend them enough. read more

I've been a client there for the last 10 years, no complaints. I find Dr. Kim to be a minimalist, which I greatly appreciated. At one point about 5 years ago, I switched dentists because my insurance changed. The new dentist instantly wanted to pull all my wisdom teeth. This was the worst experience with a dentist, and the office was very unprofessional.-- April 2019. I accompanied my wife with two visits to Dr. Ton. The office practices assembling-line dentistry where my wife was put into a narrow time slot that overlapped other patients. In both visits my wife's time was cut short; Dr. Ton rushed on to other patients and could not finish answering our questions. The cleaning of my wife's teeth was cut short by Chris (hygienist) because there were other patients running into my wife's appointment. The cleaning was done haphazardly, and we informed Dr. Ton of this, and she just ignored our concerns. There was a lack of privacy between the dental chairs due to the open space between cubicles, where we not only saw other patients in adjacent cubicles but heard their conversations with Dr. Ton. Also, other patients could hear our conversation with Dr. Ton. Dr. Ton wanted to replace a fully functional crown that was not bothering my wife, when this was not the purpose of our visit. The dental cubicles were shabby, rundown and the equipment was antiquated. read more

This place is just so disorganized that being nice (most of the time) is not enough. They are constantly overbooked. Halfway through the job they said they were kicking my wife out because they were too busy and overbooked. They actually asked us to come back TWICE, AFTER already receiving anesthesia. To make matters worse, the first time my wife went, they numbed the wrong side. I would not go back to Amy Ton. They get two stars because I feel bad about giving one star to anyone who isn't a total crook, but this place is not great. read more

Dr.Amy Ton is absolutely incredible!!! I have been to so many dentists and oral surgeons and she is by the far the best I have ever experienced! I am beyond afraid of the dentist and have created so many issues with my teeth because of my fear. However, after today she has changed me! I previously had a root canal and had broken the temporary filling and she removed the broken filling and built my tooth back up and cleaned it out as well as making a temporary crown, in addition she filled cavities that had developed adjacent from this problem tooth all in less than an hour and completely painless! I was in disbelief how easy and quick it went by! Dr. Ton and her staff were so nice and comforting through out the entire procedure too! The desk staff is also so nice, when I first called I was very scared about making an appointment and panicked about cost, and they assured me they would work with me and they followed through on their word! I have never left a dentist feeling so happy! I go back next week for a cleaning and I'm so pleased that I'm now bringing my 4 year old to start seeing her! read more
