Dr. Metzdorf is officially my second dentist and growing up with my last one, it was difficult for me to trust someone new, but I'm so glad I did! All the staff are extremely kind and they walk you through all procedures so that you understand what's going on. I've had regular cleanings, fillings, night guard made, and a retainer brace repaired all so quickly and efficiently here. Dr. Metzdorf also has amazing bedside manner! He is fun to conversate with and great at explaining any issues or concerns he has. I highly do recommend coming here if you are new to the area and looking for a reliable dentist. :) read more

I came to Dr. Metzdorf as a new patient for a *third* opinion on my tooth. He was able to see me the morning after I called ( he could have seen me the same day, but I had a conflict!). He and Lisa could not have been more kind. They both listened to my saga and gave the Dr. gave me his honest opinion of the work that had been done previously, and what he thought I should do moving forward. It's hard to believe that I have been going to Dr. Metzdorf for 15 years now. He is an excellent dentist, honest, friendly, and efficient. You can expect an honest evaluation and recommendation for the work that is needed. His prices have always seemed very reasonable, I've never had any insurance/billing issues. This place is great. The office manager/receptionist (Lisa) is super-friendly, efficient and even more competent. The excellent hygienist has a way with cleaning your teeth properly but avoiding any pain given in the process. She is also very patient-friendly and helpful. Finally Dr. Metzdorf is a great combination of honest, kind and highly competent. I would be remiss not to mention the innovative dental "experience" used at this impressive dental office... The office has *extremely* comfortable dental chairs, natural light coming from floor to ceiling windows to the outside and even TVs placed in the ceiling above each patient chair so you can watch TV during the procedure. Now that is what I call low stress! They even have a "faux" blue sky with clouds motif on the ceiling around the TV to complete the relaxing nature of the office. All I can say is after a long search for a dentist I *want* to see every six months, I have now found them in Dr. Metzdorf and his amazing staff. read more

I haven't been to the dentist since I moved almost 3 years ago and figured it was time I took advantage of my insurance. I booked an appointment though the website and it was so easy! I didn't have to hassle with calling someone. The email reminders were a bit much, but it made sure I didn't forget! The office is fantastic and I couldn't be happier with my experience. Usually I am weary of going to the dentist since I have had to have some work done when I was a teen with braces. Yuck. Anyway I would go back in a heart beat. David Metzdor Jr is by far my favorite dentist I have ever gone to. It started out 10 years ago just trying to find someone convenient to my location and over the years I have moved and have stayed with him. He is super friendly, funny, knowledgeable and like others have mentioned very honest. He is definitely someone that I would refer to anyone looking for a good down to earth dentist. In fact I have referred about 4 or 5 people to him, who all agree that he is great, Even my wife who is not a fan of the Dentist at all, feels very comfortable with him. read more

Loved Dr. Metzdorf's office. He is very personable and really friendly. His office staff have been really nice as well. He does all the work himself, so you wont have to worry about some hygienist coming and and cleaning your teeth and then the doctor coming to look at it for a few seconds. He also gave me some good tips and knowledge in how to maintain my teeth in between visits. Awesome dentist. :) ***UPDATE*** So its been a few years now... but I"m still going here and I would never ever go to another dentist as long as Dr. Metzdorf is in practice. His staff as well as Dr. Metzdorf himself are all really professional and friendly. I feel at ease at his office and I really like him. I feel like he's really frank and honest and I realize its easy to "upsell" services/products to patients. There are so many dentists to choose from in this area, but the challenge is finding one that is honest whom you know isn't nickel and diming you by convincing you to have things done or agreeing to treatments so that they can get higher reimbursements from insurance companies or try to increase their profit margin by recommending things that are "not covered by insurance" or "high out of pocket costs". I feel like he doesn't waste his time looking for things to "make money off of" and just really tries to give you the straight and honest truth. He does have a hygienist whom I really like as well. Really great practice...wish there were more doctors like him for all the different medical practices in this area. read more

This was my 2nd visit to see Dr. Metzdorf, unfortunately I was coming in with a great deal of pain. His wonderful staff were kind, competent and accommodating to get me in right after he finished another procedure. I was grateful and really wasn't expecting to get in so quickly. When I got there he had already been looking at my initial x-rays and they took one more to see what may have changed. We discussed what may have caused the situation and it was truly random. He eased my pain, did a thorough exam and advised me of how to best handle my situation. The staff called endodontist to secure me the soonest appt and off I went. I have my regular appt with him in 2 weeks and look forward to going back for my 6 mo. visit. Dr. Metzdorf and his staff are the best I have found in the neighborhood and we have been to several. Very clean, modern and professional office. You feel like they actually care about your mouth, rather than your checking account. They didn't try to sell me any extras or do unnecessary work. I was given a referral to an orthodontist to get an opinion about my bite. Got a sample bag on my way out and made a follow-up appointment for six months. Most comfortable dental seat anywhere. TV on ceiling so you have something to watch during procedures. Digital x-rays that come up on the screen immediately. read more

I have been to this office a few times and I am so impressed with Dr. Metzdorf and the staff. Some dental offices push for more services,more x-rays etc, this office is not like this. The staff is friendly and helpful. The hygienist is gentle and explains what she is doing. The office is lovely and serene, Doctor Metzdorf is friendly, gentle and he went over my x-rays carefully and showed me some areas that in the future might be a cause for concern and gave me tips to use now.
