Sending a message that you're canceling my appointment while I'm already driving there is unprofessional. If your app says the appointment is set and cannot be changed without a call, you shouldn't be 'releasing' it behind the patient's back. Incredibly frustrating experience.

I had been seeing the same dentist for over 2 decades, but I switched my insurance and had to search for a new dentist. I was having excruciating pain from a filing that came out and didn't have the time to sit on it. I found Dr. Kim through my insurance and was able to make an appointment that same week in her Merrifield office, which was convenient since I live in Falls Church. The office is very clean and has refreshing modern decor. Her assistant greeted me and she was very sweet. They even had my favorite HGTV show playing while I waited all of 60 seconds to be seen. I was taken back to the exam room and met Dr. Kim. I told her my situation and after an x-ray, she confirmed that I needed a root canal. I was nervous because as I said, I am the world's greatest baby when it comes to dental work. Dr. Kim and her assistant were extremely patient and constantly checked on me to see how I was doing and constantly reassured me that I was fine. She made sure I was completely numb from start to finish and was very compassionate. Seeing Dr. Kim was such a wonderful experience. I was so apprehensive at first, but she and her staff did such a good job of making me comfortable and making sure I wasn't in any pain, that I actually enjoyed being seen there.
