This is a wonderful office. Friendly, kind, professional service. Dr. Andrew fit my daughter in after she fell at the pool. He took the time to assess if she had any nerve damage or a fracture. He was kind and gentle with her. A real professional. He really assuaged any fears we had. I have been seeing his office for the past twelve years and have always been impressed with the work he does. My teeth look and feel great thanks to excellent workmanship. Denise and Elise both do an exceptional job cleaning my teeth and advising me on ways to keep them in top shape. They are friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. I know that many people find going to the dentist unsettling. Hinkle's office really alleviate these fears and make it a positive experience. read more

Buyer beware! First the good - I agree with many of the other reviews, this was a lovely office, the team was very nice, and I thought the care was very good. However, despite asking before my visit if Hinkle Denistry took my insurance (the receptionist said they did), I found out at the end of my visit that I should have read the "fine print" in their financial disclosure. They are pay for performance, which means you have to immediately pay for the service (which was $800 for first visit consultation, standard xrays, and cleaning) before getting your insurance to cover and they are out of network for all insurance companies. I have pretty good insurance, usually fully covers this type of service and I only received ~$150 from insurance coverage. When I complained to Hinkle Dentistry, they offered a $200 rebate, but that does not even cover half of the costs. If I had known the costs going in, I would not have come to this dentist; so despite the good care, unless you are willing to pay high prices, I recommend you go elsewhere until Hinkle Dentistry affiliates with insurance carriers. read more

I have been going to the Hinkle team for over 15 years! I have a lot invested in my teeth and I know that the Hinkle team will take care of my teeth. I really enjoy the experience - it is like visiting family. I have had the same hygienist for over 15 years. I love the text confirmations, the digital health status, the oral health scan each visit, warm wipe to freshen up after the cleaning - it is always a great and positive experience. I've gone here for 16 years and all of these dentists are FANTASTIC... really, it doesn't get any better. Purring and Garagozloo (who opened her own office, and she is really great) have both left and now it's Dr. Hinkle and his son, both are amazing. I trust the entire staff here. The cleanings are very thorough and the hygienists are so sweet. I really can't say enough great things about this place. All the technology is the latest and greatest and everything is up to date. I really believe you get what you pay for, especially when it comes to your teeth. I've had a filling in nearly every tooth in my mouth and they've done them all and have done such great work that when I went to another dentist (when i was living on the west coast) he kept praising the work I'd had done. read more

I switched to the Drs. Hinkles' office 4 years ago. Although being in my early 20's was like being proverbially slapped in the face by adulthood, the team at Alan & Andrew Hinkle, DDS made sure that I at least had my dental health in order. In all seriousness, I have been pleasantly greeted by the front desk staff, my dental hygienists have remembered details about me even 6 months later, and Dr. Andrew and Dr. Alan never cease to make me feel that I am in good hands. I had a series of lame tooth-chipping incidents caused by grinding and a messed-up bite, and they managed to fit me in on short notice in order to fix the problem. I was also advised by them to seek orthodontic treatment and felt informed every step of the way. The equipment that they use is state-of-the-art and my orthodontist commented on the good quality of the x-rays that they sent over. If you're not convinced yet, just know that I had dental work done (drilling, etc.) the morning after my birthday celebration and it wasn't even that bad, thanks to Dr. Andrew and his staff. read more

My mom sees Dr Hinkle, although he was on his honeymoon when we visited this week. Denise was terrific at identifying the cause of Mom's pain, and presenting options. Much more detail than I would ever expect from a technician. I heartily recommend this dental practice, especially if you are helping an aging parent with memory issues. My dental health has always been stellar and I largely attribute it to the great service they provide. The appointments are extremely organized and well run, and my dental hygienist Denise completes a thorough cleaning and is always very personable. The office invests in cutting edge equipment and their streamlined appointment and checkout processes make the entire experience very easy. I always enjoy catching-up with Alan and Andrew as well. I have been a long time patient of Dr. Hinkle (Sr.), Dr. Hinkle (Jr.) and various dental hygienists within this practice. Everyone is "top drawer" quality. They are knowledgeable, kind, gentle, thorough, and effective. The office is clean and well designed, and you are always greeted with a warm smile when you enter. The reception area offers coffee, water and fresh cookies. It's a very inviting setting. When seated in the dental chair, you are greeted with a warm blanket and various pillows and cushions to ensure your comfort. A couple years back I moved farther from the practice. I considered a closer dental practice; however, I felt like I was a "number" rather than a person, and it was like being on an assembly line or conveyor belt. It was impersonal, hectic, and unfriendly. I can't comment on the quality because I left before I was even treated there. I promptly called Dr. Hinkle's office and told them that I didn't care how far I had to drive to get there. I will never consider another practice. Ever. read more
