We weren't sure what restaurant Sinaloa was when we stopped in. The restaurant is full of natural light and brightly painted sea themed Mexican furniture. We were a bit shocked by the prices at first but it seems some of the items are shareable. We watched as a waitress sat a full fish down at an adjacent table and excitedly asked our waitress what the dish was. Our waitress seemed annoyed that we were asking questions. Ultimately we ordered the molcajete barba roja. Along with a few alcoholic drinks. Both drinks tasted great, however the alcohol seemed a bit light. The molcajete was good. The chicken was a bit dry and the carne asada a bit fatty. The bacon wrapped shrimp was the best part. I wish there was more salsa on the bottom. My wife and I made a point to try the octopus. My wife had textural issues but I enjoyed it. There wasn't any spice heat to the dish however there are 6 hot sauces on the table. Hi: I'm sure this will be deleted and the owner/manager won't see it but I wanted to let you know about my visit. I've gone by Sinaloa resturant for 8 years,, always wanting to stop. I checked the menu online and decided to have a meal at Sinaloa. First, loved the decor, but music was somewhat loud. We were met by a lady who told us to wait, and walked away. After several parties walked in behind us and were seated, the lady motioned us to a booth. 20 minutes later a man waked up to take drink orders. He explained a few meal items (in very broken english) and went to get drinks. More people were seated some large crowds, and were immediately met by a server. These people then almost immediately brought drinks and food orders taken, Us, still no waiter with drinks after another 15 to 20 minutes. People who were seated AFTER us received food while we still sat waiting to order!! I ordered beer battered shrimp which stated "served with salad, rice, and french fries". Litteraly 30 minutes later, the food came and I was served grilled shrimp with rice. Had to flag down a server for refills on drinks. I didn't say anything due to fear I'd be eating something morbid. Meal finished, my friend had to flag down a server for the bill, who promptly told him to go to the counter to pay. Umm, everyone else was brought a bill and paid at their table. We paid and left. First, I can only assume this resturant only wants Latino's and frowns on White customers. Second, they make a point of poor service to White customers while jumping thru hoops to make Latino customers have a good meal experience. Third, Although the food was wrong, and really delicious, I didn't feel like I was welcome and was being served only because we walked in. Fourth, The food was fantastic, but I won't be back. Sinaloa does not look like much from the outside. Well, lets be honest, it doesn't look like much from the inside either. That is okay, in this town, that is usually a good sign that you are about to have a killer meal. That thinking did not fail to prove true, Sinaloa is fantastic. When I ask my friends which Mexican seafood restaurants they like around town, I usually get this return glare that says "are you being serious?" Yes folks, the Hispanic community can cook(or crudo) seafood the same as the rest of the world and it is good. I usually get the cold squid appetizer. It is a salad of squid, lettuce, spices and it just delicious. I have never ordered this and left any on the plate. This dish has converted more than a few people to the treasure of Mexican seafood. My dad loves the filete de chef, which is a large fillet of fish cooked with the chefs special sauce on a bed of rice. I love the seafood stew which is always filled with goodies like fish, shrimp and squid. Do not expect the bill to be cheap if you eat like I do, but certainly reasonable for the quality and quantity you are offered. Four stars for this restaurant, I will be back soon! read more

Walked in and wasnt greeted, shuffled around the dining room for awhile looking for a booth to sit in not covered in crumbs. A lady working in the dining room called for a waitress to come out to me. She brought chips and salsa and was nice enough. I asked for a water which came out shortly. I ordered a beer and said I needed another minute with the menu. I guess there was my mistake. At least 10 minutes later my beer and server had never materialized again. There were only 2 other people in the restaurant. I left a dollar for the chips and salsa i ate while waiting for my waitress to return and walked out. I passed a couple employees behind the counter talking happily.
