The 'meat was cooked to perfection and the cilantro and onions just the right amount, the salsa ran out so quickly it was spicy yet kept you asking for more and drenched my birria in a salsa bath. Consume drenched tortillas were excellent, really hot when they arrived. Freshly warmed and everything was delicious. Lasted two meals, dinner and lunch very decent portions! Horchata was huge! I saw a video where a guy ate Mulitas so I wanted to try Mulitas . I searched on Yelp and this place came up. I came around noon and it wasn't busy surprisingly. I ordered the Mulitas combo but this did not come with a drink . I think it's a combo because of the taco that comes with it. It was 2 Mulitas consommé and a taco. The Mulitas were good. They were freshly made, with melted cheese and really good. The taco was also delicious. I did use the consommé but it honestly wasn't needed. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because the food could have used more flavor. I didn't really taste any spices or seasonings .. it needed some salt or something . The food was still very much enjoyable it just didn't have a flavor punch that I was hoping to experience.. The restaurant was quaint and pretty but also very clean. The staff was also very nice . AMAZING tacos!!! So good that I have visited twice in 2 weeks. I got Carne Asada tacos and Al Pastor tacos. I need to try the Birria tacos next, because that is what they are known for. The tortillas are crispy, the meat is a little dry but comes with consommé so no big deal. A little expensive at $3.5 per taco but honestly I would rather spend my money here than any gentrified taco spot because I know they will charge the same if not more there. I was curious what mexican ramen would taste like. It took about 10 minutes to arrive. The ramen was good. The best way to describe it would be if you bought some chili ramen from the store and added some homemade chili to it. I think it came to 17$. The staff was very friendly. Kind service. Inside of restaurant is clean. Combo 2 (2 pollo mulita, pollo taco, consome) - the pollo is barely/not much seasoned so the items on their own are lacking. The combination plate included two shredded beef and two Al Pastor (marinaded pork) street tacos served with finely chopped onion and cilantro. The Al Pastor tacos also had guacamole. I mis-ordered so it's not their fault but what I wanted was queso birria tacos and not regular birria tacos. It was an experience. I read about this place on yelp and realized it was so close to me. I first had their tacos which were really good and fairly cheap. I got the pork, asada and chicken. LOVE the pork, done very well. Chicken is good - little dry. As Ada is decent - some weird chewy parts but mostly good. THEN I got the burrito. I noticed they only had one type of burrito which stuck me as odd but I wanted to try and it did not disappoint! It was DELICIOUS. It's shredded beef, but cooked and marinated SO WELL! They add rice, cilantro, onions, cheese and guacamole. I asked for jalapeños on the side and wow even those jalapeños were roasted on their grill and delicious! Went on Sunday because my family wanted to try this Birria place. Mexican music was playing and it was filled with Mexican families. That's a good sign that the food is good. My two guests had a combo plate with beef tacos and one combo with cheese tacos. The tacos had mile high meat on them and the consommé which accompanied the tacos (BIRRIA) was strong, flavorful and tasty. It took a long time to make this magnificent broth. They have a condiment bar with limes, pickled red onion and spicy tomatillo sauce. Very limited but fresh. I would highly recommend this place. Clean, friendly with great food. read more

I am heart-broken to report that this marvelously wonderful taco truck is moving from its long time location in the 1900 block of East Deer Valley Road. On February 24, 2021, they will relocate to 3202 E. Greenway Road which is 12 miles away. I guess it's only fair that the East-side of Phoenix can now experience and enjoy this family owned and operated treasure. The only downside is that while the selections are numerous, the day we were there, the only meat option was beef: no goat, pork or chicken. Covid and CDC recommendations are rigorously followed, including employee masking, fresh plastic sleeves on the hot sauce bottles and disinfecting tables after each customer's use. read more
