Couldn't just charge me bean&cheese burrito add carne asada ? I didn't ask for extra cheese either but they charged for it.
Brittany J.

Ordered a bean and cheese burrito add carne asada (3 ingredients!) and my burrito was $16!! Excuse me? I'm sorry, but that's a rip off. That's insanely overpriced.

My friend and I hiked nearby dreamy draw mountain and was in the mood for breakfast burritos after. We googled and found this place. We went at lunch time and there were many patrons. You know that's a good sign. We got ham and cheese burrito and carne asada. Both were good. The cashier was super nice and professional. They do not have a garnishment bar which probably is ok with all the germs going around. They do have salsa in a container available. It was decent lunch. Little pricey but expected. $28 for burritos and 1 drink.

Bean, rice, cheese burrito that I cut in half so I could drown it in hot sauce

Now, more than ever, I want to support local wherever I can. I was craving a bean and cheese burrito and this did not disappoint. The dining room was very clean, the service very friendly. The price was a little higher than I like to pay for a burrito, but I get it. Small businesses are trying to survive and pay their employees a living wage. This location has a 24 hour drive-through and robust menu, including breakfast options. Take it easy on the red hot sauce until you check the temperature!

The service is always great. Good portions on the food it never disappoints and their salsas are the best.

I had 2 tacos-one ground beef and one shredded. The former $2 and the latter was $1.60. I liked the ground beef the best. Taco size is above average with a lot of beef and fresh lettuce. Service was fast, although there were few people in the dining room. Recommended for value and taste.

Don't let the book determine the cover. The outside of the building does not mean anything about the quality and great food displays provides!! One of my favorite places for burritos. Service is always fast and food is very good quality produce! Drive through anytime!!

This place is pretty slamming. Fresh cut veggies in my az burrito, this place isn't bullshitting you and it's still a place in town where you can maximize for under $11 which is bad ass in this economy.

This place is just plain delicious. All kinds of Mexican dishes delivered in American fashion, my go to when looking for a full belly on the run. Consistently good, basically affordable, and drive thru friendly--Federico's satisfies my Mexican - American cravings! Thanks Federico's :) You can trust me, I'm in the business ;D

We picked up from here. I had the chicken chimichanga and carne asada fries. The chimichanga still crunchy on the corners. I liked the plate it was a lot of food. The fries were also good.

First glances inside as ypu walk in, are oh... the place looks so fancy from the exterior but the inside reminds me of a cafeteria... complete with open kitchen and more industrial tables & chairs. But don't let first glances taint you.... the chairs are really comfy and the place is extremely clean and spacious inside. The bar is huge, in length and depth... really this place could do well by adding so many more seats like most other restaurants... but that would take away from the comfort and space you feel. Service was excellent, reallt friendly, helpful with allergies and attentive to refils and empty plates. Food was great, prices are decent. Appetisers we ordered guacamole, one each so no fighting. The size equals the cost, the scoop is a generous ice-cream scoop size, equally echoed by the pics and servers explaintion. But this comes with 2 salasa and a huge bowl of chips. For the meals, 2 tacos, one pork, one fish... plenty of toppings. Very filling Also ordered was the carne asada, huge plate of meat, green chilli, pico salad, beans and rice. Topped with 3 small flour tortillas. Everything was the temperature it should be. They have a desert menu, but we opt for Mexican Wedding Cookies to go. Definitely be back

There's something so cozy and welcoming about this spot that makes it feel familiar every time we walk through the door. One of my favorite things to order here is the chilaquiles. I usually switch up the meat depending on what I'm craving, and this visit I went with chorizo. The tortilla chips have that perfect balance of crisp edges and just enough sauce to soften them without turning soggy. The chorizo adds a savory, slightly smoky richness, while the toppings bring everything together with fresh, bright flavors. It's the kind of breakfast where every bite has a little crunch, a little spice, and plenty of flavor. I also love ordering a fresh orange juice alongside my coffee--it's become part of my usual routine here. There's something about fresh OJ with a comforting plate of chilaquiles that just makes breakfast feel extra special. The service has consistently been wonderful, and the atmosphere is warm and comfortable without feeling overly formal. After all these years, Presidio Cocina Mexicana remains one of those spots I genuinely enjoy returning to. Good food, great service, and that cozy neighborhood feel that keeps you coming back.

I think I just found my new favorite Mexican restaurant!…read more The ambience here is charming. It's located in what looks like an old house, painted on the outside in a dark red paint. There are roses hanging from the ceiling, exposed brick, and colored lighting (would you notice more as the sun goes down). The wood ceilings really make this place special. There is a small bar in the corner. Don't forget to look up because there is a little door above with the guardian angel and children painted on it, and a couple of stained glass windows. From the minute we walked in, we were meeting with smiling faces. When you first walk in, you are inside the kitchen or at least right next to it. We started with a couple of drinks - a Corona and a Diablito, a sotol cocktail with lots of pureed mango. A basket of chips and a bowl of Green dip or brought to the table, and we were directed to the salsa bar back near the entrance. The salsa bar is fantastic, with several different kinds of salsa. We grabbed what tasted like a creamy tomatillo salsa, a pineapple salsa, a pico de gallo, and a creamy Serrano salsa. They were all so good that we couldn't say which was our favorite. I know that pineapple salsa just sent me over the moon! For an entree, hubby ordered a Sonoran burrito. He said the burrito was delicious, and kept pointing out how good the guacamole and side was. It wasn't especially big or small. I ordered the fajitas (steak and chicken combo) and the minute they came to the table sizzling, both my husband and I were surprised at how large this portion was. It was served with tortillas (you get your choice of corn or flour), black beans, and rice. The black beans were good - - I suppose they just tasted like black beans. I was surprised at how delicious the rice was because it's white and I expected it just to taste like white rice. But there was a creaminess to it and a flavor that I couldn't put my finger on but that I know was really yummy (butter, maybe? Cheese, maybe?? Idk). Good meat in my fajitas was super tender and the veggies were grilled just right. This was a really common really delicious meal. This place had been on my list for a long time and now that I finally been here, I'm kicking myself for not coming here sooner. The food was fantastic, the prices super reasonable, and it's set in a cozy, romantic setting. This place is going to be on a regular rotation for us!

To die for. Chips are gratuit. Service is prompt and knowledgeable. The entrance is via the kitchen as this was once a home, now converted into a great eatery. So you come in the side door to the dining room . Wait staff all greet you and guide you to the dining room, festooned with roses and talavera tiles. It's not kitschy, just gorgeous. The menu is ample and you can't go wrong with anything. The initial refrito dip, tho yummy, has pork. But they have the best, the absolute best black beans!! Try them just for a change. You'll be converted. The dining area is small but cozy and beautifully done. So enjoy!!

Totally let down by the food but their green and dark salsa is GOOD and their draft beer is ice cold. Got there, guy at the front didn't know the menu (I'm not from in town) and he pressured me to order more food than what I wanted even though I said I only wanted two tacos. Ended up getting peer pressured into their rice and beans ($8!!!), two tacos, and a draft beer (don't get me started on the beer ordeal). When I got my food, the rice and beans consisted of a a 1/4 c scoop of mushy white rice but the beans were DELICIOUS. Tacos arrived cold as ice. Let their team know it was cold and ended up taking 20+ minutes for my two tacos to come back even though it was a slow evening. Lot of attitude served when first getting the tacos, and while they gave chips about 15 minutes after waiting for the second cook, the tacos came back barely warm and SO salty. I'd love to come back for the green salsa, beans, and ice cold beer.

While I've had some phenomenal street tacos in LA and Mexico, I've been wanting to explore more of its diversity, particularly the seafood traditions! We came with a healthy appetite and ordered the Mega Molcajete, El Pulpazo, and Camarones Locos. The complimentary ceviche tostadas were a promising start! Fresh, vibrant, they immediately set my expectations high for quality and freshness of the seafood to follow. The Mega Molcajete was a showstopper. The dish arrived as an extravagant spread of grilled meats, shrimp, octopus, lobster tail, fried fish, and more. Visually spectacular, and with flavors that lived up to its presentation! El Pulpazo deserves its own praise. Octopus is notoriously unforgiving. There's a fine line between beautifully tender and unpleasantly chewy. I've had my share of disappointing renditions to know that an impressive char means very little if the texture isn't right. Fortunately, this was executed well! Fantastically seasoned, with a lovely charred exterior, and cooked to the right doneness! The Camarones Locos were another highlight! We loved the flavors of the sauce! Since we had children with us, our waitress graciously accommodated our request to serve the sauce separately to control the spice level! We also had the Mango Diablo, which provided some much-needed tropical refreshment from both the Arizona heat and the fiery kick of the dishes themselves! A few minor drawbacks worth mentioning. The parking can be tricky, as the lot is rather small (we were fortunate to snag the single remaining spot in the lot). This was also not an inexpensive outing. Our bill (for the aforementioned orders above) came in just under $300 (tax and tip included). That said, I felt the experience justified the splurge!
