Went here due to a recommendation by our hotel. While this place is certainly not cheap, our meal was excellent, and perhaps the best dinner of our week-long trip to Bruges & Paris.
What did we have? Our starters were smoked eel, and a crustacean that was a "mini-lobster" (I don't know the correct word for it). Both were very good. The smoked eel was very similar to smoked salmon.
Our main dishes were rabbit and steak. The rabbit's sauce was divine, and the meat perfectly done. My wife's steak was seasoned very well.
Our dessert was a creme brule. We had creme brule 3 times on our trip, and this one was definitely the best of the 3.
Lastly, we had the house red wine, which was excellent.
Service was not exactly warm and friendly, but prompt and helpful. As others have noted, the menu is in French and Dutch, but the server translated everything for us. read more
