Five stars. I am so happy I found another good coffee place in McAllen (I am in the RGV a few times a month for work). The coffee is great in this place, the service is great, the ambiance is pleasant, and the parking is ample. Not sure what is not to like. I can opine on their food as I didn't try it, but for a straight-up coffee place, this has got to be one of the top establishments in the RGV, if not the overall best. Beautiful coffee shop in McAllen that has a great selection of coffee blends and brews and teas to satisfy any person. They have a lot of natural lighting and space with decorative plants that gives the whole shop a greenhouse vibe that I love. They sell pastries and are also located next to a lot of different restaurants. The only thing about Reserva that bothers me is that it is always FREEZING cold, so bring a jacket if you're more sensitive to cold. As for coffee, I've tried several things there that I absolutely love! Rose latte: this was a very aromatic drink; it was a little on the sweet side, but I really enjoyed the unique drink. Match horchata: this was a very light tea drink. It's more watery like a tea than creamy like horchata. Imagine matcha iced tea with a hint of sugar and cinnamon; very refreshing. Cold brew lemonade: I really loved this drink! It's more lemonade with a hint of coffee. And surprisingly it had enough caffeine in it to get my coffee withdrawal headache to go away. I love their coffee and their service is amazing!! They are great every time I go. I've tried the two that are in McAllen. 1 on Palm Crossing and the other one on north part of McAllen. I only wish their online ordering was more user friendly and they didn't fluctuate on their hours so much. I used to be able to pick up coffee in the mornings before work. Now they open too late. Maybe as things normalize they will go back to their old hours. I understand supply and demand and all that. Other than that they're amazing. read more

I was in town for work and stopped at this local coffee shop. I want to just start by saying the girl working the register and taking my order was so sweet! She recommended specific coffees and food and was just so pleasant! I left there with a big smile on my face! I tried the Cafe de Olla and it is literally the best coffee I have ever had! This place is amazing overall, but there is one mini problem which considers the amount of ice employees put in the cup. I have gone to Reserva to study and get a drink but every time I finish it, the ice is at the very top of the cup and it amazes me how much there is instead of how much liquid there is suppose to be. Second time coming here and I do have to say that the way they kicked everyone out was very rude. When I say kicked everyone out I mean it, they literally turned off the lights and started putting chairs on tables which is fine since those weren't occupied however, there was still 10 people there and it was never announced that they would be closing soon. I assumed they closed at 9 so I thought we still had an hour but apparently they close at 8 which is totally fine and I would've left if they would've have simply announced that they were closing in 10 minutes. It was a very awkward situation where all the customers including myself just looked at each other and slowly gathered our things to leave. Loved the coffee there I've gone to several coffee places in The Valley and this place tops every other place I've gone . The croissants aren't good tho I got the chocolate one and i thought it would be soft but it was really hard and the chocolate inside was just a bunch of chocolate chips jammed inside.
