There is a ramp in the entrance for wheel chair accessibility. You walk in and are greeted immediately by the staff. They don't really have table service so you're gonna have to walk in order. Sit down wherever you can. Food was really good for the portions was very filling not overly bearing just perfect. They have tons of coffees. We tried the chai in the latte, it was good turmeric. We were in town for 36 hours and decided to give this place a try - good decision. It's a smaller place and you order at the counter. We walked in just before the crowd which was great. The whole time we were there folks kept coming in! We tried the bacon egg and cheese biscuit. The sandwich was huge! The biscuit was buttery and flaky and very good - it was a 'different' flavor than 'traditional' biscuits - but it was great! We shared an order of biscuits and gravy. It was very good - again, a different flavor than any I've ever had - but again, really really good. It almost had a chicken fried chicken flavor to the gravy - whatever it was - very good. We shared a side of black refried beans. Honestly, I don't think I've ever had black refried beans - refried pinto beans all the time but not black refried. These did not disappoint - they had the definite homemade flavor of truly great refried beans - I would eat these again for sure. I had the ribeye burrito which came with medium rare strips of ribeye; strips of avocado; cheese; potatoes; and refried black beans. I don't like sour cream so I left that off. The burrito itself was grilled which added to it. The salsa was good and had a good balance of heat. Another win. One of our group had the oatmeal with blueberries and strawberries due to dietary restrictions. It was also very good - which was surprising for oatmeal. The oatmeal itself was baked, which is also rarely done. We would definitely come back when we ate in town next time. Different flavors than the 'norm' and all of them very good. The food was absolutely delicious and fresh. Everything was filled with flavor! As soon as we walked in, we were greeted and asked if it was our first time. The lady at the counter took her time to explain everything to us. You grab your menu, take a seat and once you're ready to order you go to the front to request your order. The ambiance felt like I was at a relatives house, having a great meal and a chit chat. If you ask for water/soda, you get it yourself along with your utensils, napkins and condiments. THEIR PANCAKES ARE THE BEST PANCAKES IVE EVER ATE. Their coffee was also good. The restaurant is small and cozy, and they have extra parking space in the back of the restaurant! First time eating here. Came on a Sunday morning around 9am. Were greeted as soon as we walked in. They explained the menu. Very laid back environment. Seating might get tricky when it gets busy, but luckily we arrived before it got busy around 9:30ish. We all ordered the waffles. We were all satisfied with our choice. Ordered a hot chocolate and was very happy with it. What I liked was that it was not piping hot. I enjoyed it as soon as it was brought out. Yelp strikes again! We were looking for a place to have a decent breakfast and we found it. This will be our new go to spot. Ordered eggs, bacon and pancakes, let me tell you this was all made to perfection tasted great. Good presentation, eggs were scrambled perfectly the bacon came out with a little crunch just how I like it and the pancakes were so moist and tasty probably the tastiest I've had in a long time. The food was really good and the coffee even better. Did not try the orange juice but could see that it was freshly squeezed (they were squeezing the oranges as we ordered) and looked amazing. Loved that the food was served in small cast iron pans. Biscuit was big and tasty. Migas were really good. The place has a great look and cozy feel to it, with books and games to pass the time (love that). Unfortunately, the service was another story. 1) cashier got my order wrong which looking back later was odd considering what I ordered had a choice of egg preparation (and she did ask) and what I was served did not. So somewhere between my answer and hitting the button, something went wrong. Also, and this is a pet peeve of mine, she kept touching her hair. I know she was not handling any food but seeing any restaurant employee doing that, to me speaks volumes about how seriously a place takes health and food safety. 2) the man bringing out the food should NOT be in a customer facing position. When he brought out our food and I told him that was not what he ordered, his response was "well that is what she wrung up". No attempt to problem solve at all. I am not looking for some massive display of apologies, but at least an attempt at correcting the situation would have been nice. Kept the plate, since getting what I had originally ordered would have taken more time and apparently paying again. Watching him throughout the rest of my time there as he delivered food to other guests, got the distinct impression he had no desire to deal with customers. Almost a barely concealed contempt for what he was doing. May be great worker in the kitchen but a customer facing worker he should not be. 3) given all of the above, what really irked me is that this is a order and pay first, then sit and eat place. Meaning I had already tipped before said service was provided. Had i paid after, tip would be more representative of the service ( and yes, would have still tipped). May try this place again , but will definitely be very careful when ordering, doublechecking order. read more

Amazing food, very friendly and attentive service, neat drink options, lots of "extras" like a wide selection of hot suaces and fresh made salsa. Prices are reasonable, food is super fresh and the staff are welcoming and warm. Seating can be a bit tricky because it's a small space for the business they do, but we always seem to make it work. WOW!! Blown away by this place! As we were walking in, there was drawings on the sidewalk with a bucket of chalk that guests can use to draw which I thought was so cool. We were greeted immediately upon arrival and they explained how the ordering process works. It's different because you pick up a menu and order at the bar, are given a number then go to your table. They have a condiment section where you grab your utensils, napkins, cream and sugar, water cups, etc. We waited about 15 mins for our food and were not disappointed! It was pretty spicy, but the flavor was so good. I was hesitant about the black beans at first, but they were delicious. My boyfriend ordered the steak and eggs. The meat was cooked the way he liked and had a nice flavor. The home run though was the raspberry jam. Y'all, it was AMAZING! I had to share with my boyfriend because it was that good! I awe also ordered some orange juice. It was NATURAL ORANGE JUICE! Definitely was not as sweet as we're used to it being, but I was blown away with how good it tasted. That is a must order for sure! Service was 10/10. Everyone was so kind. They even came around to make sure we were enjoying our food and I got to have a conversation with the manger. I've now been here twice in one week. The food is killer. They have a variety of drinks that are so good. I had the family Julius which is an orange and cream, ice blended drink (or on the rocks if you prefer), and it tasted like a orange and cream popsicle. I've also had the orly, which was a yummy coffee with oat milk. Their food is tasty and portions are generous. So far I've loved the chicken fried chicken which was crunchy. The potatoes were creamy and the gravy was on point! The Monte Cristo is basically French toast, ham and cheese with homemade jam. I loved it. The steak and eggs were also scrumptious. The steak was particularly tender and the sunny side eggs were perfectly cooked. This is a perfect spot for when you feel like you could eat a horse and it will not disappoint. The food was sooo flavorful, great textures, and served up nice and fresh. Truly, everything was on point with the seasoning here. I ordered my chilaquiles mild because I heard they were really spicy, and I enjoyed them thoroughly. They still had some good heat in them. I never overlook sides either, and the black beans, potatoes and hash brown were excellent. The meatloaf was a standout. Never had one like it, and we spent a lot of time trying to figure out what the seasonings were that made it so magical. I walked in and immediately was greeted and welcomed to the restaurant. I will call this a user-friendly restaurant because you walk in, and there are instructions on where to place your order with menus readily available. Took away that anxiety from going into a new restaurant and not knowing if you should sit or wait to be seated! There was a lovely young lady at the front who explained their coffee menu and went out of her way to concoct a delicious vanilla latte for me. Went here for the first time to try biscuits and gravy bc it's hard to find homemade gravy anymore. We got there 30 before open bc we didn't realize that they open an hour later on saturdays. But a nice gentleman said no worries he'd be happy to fix us something. After paying he said will take a minute to warm up the gravy. I thought OH NO! Gravy made fresh is not warmed up. Got our biscuits amd gravy within 5 minutes and the gentleman was so polite. Got home opened the box and it looked like my biscuits were dropped then picked back up in pieces then covered with gravy. The other one was fine.... then we tasted it. The biscuits were put on the grill and they tasted like grease and whatever else was cooked the day before. And the texture of the biscuits was all wrong as well. The gravy was ok but not a lot of flavor but then again all we could taste was grilled biscuits. The other strange thing was that there was green things baked or fried in the biscuits. Neither of us could eat it and ended up making French toast. A waste of time and money; I've never had anything I wasn't able to eat. I'm not trying to be rude or anything like that and I see others who had the biscuits and gravy loved it. Guess I just don't prefer grilled biscuits or green things in them either. Anyway, I only write this bc im thinking maybe it was a quick way to serve us since we were early I don't know but I suggest to not prepare the biscuits the same way.
