You've found the best locksmith in the Valley ... just sayin' - and I have tried at least two others on occasion. The difference with these guys is that they actually 1) know what they are doing; 2) are super pleasant and cordial - even shaking my hand upon introducing themselves; 3) fixed what other locksmith's either didn't bother to tell me or simply messed up (and NOW my lock cleanly and smoothly locks); and both of their technicians (Chris and Hector) asked if I needed assistance with the Schlage app ... to ensure that I got set up properly. Other locksmith's simply installed the lock and left. These guys are really terrific...no question I will be using them and only them in the future. Oh - and their rate was extremely fair. read more

We purchased a new home and needed to have a total of eight locks on five different doors re-keyed. Using the Yelp reviews to find companies with the highest customer satisfaction ratings, we called three different local businesses. One was unable to come out as soon as we needed. Of the other two, Resc-U Locksmith quoted us quite a bit higher for the job, but when I called back to let them know, they said they would meet their competitor's price and be able to be out to the house the following day. We decided to trust the reviews and go with Resc-U Locksmith, and we are very glad we did. Hector came out on time (would that every vendor we had to deal with did!). He was very professional, polite and knowledgeable - taking the time to explain to us exactly what needed to be done on each door. Unfortunately one of the locks proved to be more of a challenge than he anticipated and it took Hector quite a bit longer to work it out - but he never complained nor did he try to charge us extra. In fact he kept apologizing for the longer time the job was taking. When the job was finally completed, we walked with him through the house testing each lock with the new keys Hector had fabricated to make certain everything worked perfectly - and it did. Hector was a pleasure to deal with. He came out when he said he would, he did what he said he would do and there were no surprises on the charges. He didn't once complain about the extra time involved. The price for the job was very reasonable and I appreciated that they were willing to meet their competitor's price. Hector demonstrated the kind of professionalism and work ethic you wish for in all of the vendors and contractors you have to deal with. I cannot begin to recommend Resc-U enough. I called mid afternoon on a holiday after getting locked out of my residence. I had no other way in to my home and was rejected by another company before getting in touch with this company's dispatcher. Once hanging up with dispatch, Chris called me back right away and was on his way to me in no time at all. My lockout situation proved to be quite a challenge but after spending meticulous time Chris was able to break the lock and once I had my replacement lock in my possession he made it a point to return and install it for me. I would like to acknowledge Chris Salinas from Resc-U Locksmith for helping me in an emergency. He deserves 5 stars for coming to our rescue and saving the day. He's my Hero! I live in LA and a family member drove to Thermal, near the Salton Sea, to hike. They called me late in the afternoon to say their trunk automatically locked and keys were inside. They called a tow truck driver who came out, but could only open the side doors, but not access the trunk. So, there it was dark outside, cold and they were stranded 20 miles from the nearest Chevron Station with not much battery left on their cell phone. They told me they'd start heading to the Salton Sea Travel Plaza, where the Chevron Station was located, and wait for help. I called Toyota of the Desert who said I'd have to get the car towed to them to open the trunk. Then, when I called Toyota Roadside Assistance, they told me they could only open doors, but they said, "Call a locksmith. They can open the trunk for you." I called about 4 different locksmiths and basically was told they might or might not be able to open the trunk. When I said my family member was heading to the Chevron Station and could they meet him there, I was told their insurance wouldn't allow them to pick them up and take them back to the car 20 miles away, in the dark. Then, Chris from Resc-U Lock called me back. When I told him the circumstances, he said, "I will find them. It's my mission tonight to find them and yes, I can open the trunk." He asked me to send coordinates of where the car was. He asked me exactly where they were headed also (The Salton Sea Travel Plaza.) Well, maybe 1/2 hour or so later, Chris calls and says, "I've got them in my truck with me. We're heading to their car." Then, a little while later, Chris called and said, "They're in the car and watching them drive away." I'm so grateful to Chris. He's my Hero! He made it his mission to find my family member and make sure they were safe. Furthermore, Chris told me he'd driven to the Salton Sea Travel Plaza and went inside the Chevron and asked if anyone had come in asking to use the phone. Then, he went to the nearby Jack in the Box to see if they were there. Then, he began slowly driving along the road to where the car was (20 miles away) and in about 2 miles, he saw my family member. It's not everyday that someone has your back and comes to your rescue. I can't say enough good things about Chris and Resc-U Lock. Thank you very much Chris! read more

Our first experience with Saige was stellar! She was communicative, prompt and the price quoted is exactly what was charged. The second time we decided to use them Saige was on vacation so we got another tech. He let us know he would be late from the original scheduled time (twice) when he finally arrived, he was working with our property manager and only reserved a small window for our installation, which was super frustrating cause he was over 1.5 behind when he said he would initially come. Then the price charged was over what we were quoted ($100+ over). Finally...he didn't finish th job. Our property manager, an older woman isn't that tech savvy and struggled navigating our password vault app. He said he had to leave even though the job was incomplete, but didn't offer any discount or recourse for the tardiness or incomplete order. So, if you're able to book Saige GO FOR IT! She's an expert, super professional and accommodating, but I can't confidenty suggest anyone else. read more
