On the most recent job, there were several items involved, and I later realized that one item I had requested was not completed. I asked about a refund, and he said the work was not done and that I had not been charged for it. We had discussed the item previously, but it was not in writing. He believed we decided not to proceed with it, while I believed it was still included. Ultimately, it was a misunderstanding on both sides. When I went to review the invoice to verify the charges, I was unable to find it. I asked multiple times over the course of a couple of months for a copy, as I need it for my tax records. Most of the time he ignored me, but when he did respond I was given excuses as to why he could not send me the invoice. I worked with him for years without any prior issues, but based on how this misunderstanding and follow-up were handled, I would not recommend him.
