The best in the desert! I was stuck in Indio and although I made my original appointment in Cathedral city, they were able to attend to me at this location! Shout out to Julie and the rest of the team for being able to fix me up a new key FOB in no time! Got the job done while helping put a smile on my face! read more

Great store with lots of items for retail sale. I just stopped in to make two odd mailbox keys but the gal was super helpful, quick and answered all my questions regarding keyless front door locks from Emtek which they are able to get! So refreshing to have great service and selection. Thank you! She said they also have two other locations. Highly recommend. :) read more

Worst place to come very unprofessional & rude! Would not come here ever again!!!! 1 they don't pick up phones they watch them ring & 2 when you walk in he has no customer service very unprofessional. They give no value to the customer they treat them like nothing. They have to remember that the customers make the business I'd suggest putting someone in charge who actually knows about customer service & how to treat a customer. Nunca vengan aquí muy mal servicio mejor a otro lado! Los van a tratar my mal! read more

Valley Lock & Safe - DO NOT COME HERE ! - Keys & Locksmiths Near Me - Indio, California

I was helped immediately, and the keys were perfectly and quickly copied. I would definitely come back here.

These guys always seem to have the hard to find keys that places like Home Depot never has.

These guys are amazing and honest I really appreciate them he was patient and cared about my concerns

been searching for a place to do my RV locks. These guys are the best and got it done

I hired VL&S the other day to do a re-key on a condo - they were super friendly, called to confirm the day of the appt, and Nick came out and did a superb job. I HIGHLY recommend Nick and this company. We called another company but they didn't show up, so you know what? Good people get the work. :) read more

I chose Valley Lock and Safe to install a new deadbolt and door handle after my existing handle broke off in my hand (sigh). I have previously used ANOTHER company ... but wasn't as satisfied with my last use - so decided to try Valley Lock and Safe and I am super satisfied that I did. They were easy to book, and I felt the work they did and the value of their service was quite good. The price they quoted me was the price I paid - no nickel and diming me. I actually felt like they gave me extra value and courtesy - and treated me as a future valued customer. I would absolutely use them again if I need a knowledgeable, responsive locksmith. The technician Nick was also very nice. read more

excelente customer service in indio i forgot her name but she help me with the fob i had swap and she didn't charge me anything

Amazing service and incredibly skilled staff. Jamie and Nick truly impressed me today. I live 120 miles from here, I came over do some work at our family home and forgot to bring a storage tool shed key. My son sent me a picture of the key I forgot to bring. Jamie and Nick made me a copy " from the picture " and it worked on the first try. I must say I don't impressed easily, but these two master technicians made my day. They didn't charge for the key unless it worked. Of course I will be back there tomorrow to pay them for their excellent service. This place is a gem. read more

Had to get a backup key made for my car. When I went in they had to order the key fob and said that they'd call back when it came in. About a week later they called back and got it all programmed fairly quickly and affordably. For a programmed key fob it was around $217. For a basic house key copy it's around $3.22. Fast and reliable. read more

Problems with special lock. Great job, excellent price, fast service. Good location, ample parking.

i needed a new two sided deadbolt and separate dual lever door lever for the street access through our gate to the front patio and front door. I had already replaced twice the "bronze" variety - the first from Loews and the second from Home Depot. After 4-5 years in the hot sun, both were functioning poorly but they looked awful. What the box stores consider to be 'outdoor class' just won't cut it out here in the heat. So we went into the Valley store in Indio where Nick and Randy listened carefully and proposed a commercial quality stainless steel solution, that are firm in your hand, not the light weight version. Two days later, another Nick came to our home, installed and keyed the lock to our home key, and produced a couple extra keys that allowed the gate to be unlocked, but could not open the doors to the house. Very clever. So now, the landscaper and the pool guy can have access through the gate, and we can use our normal key to enter without worrying about anyone else accessing the house. Thank you Nick's and Randy! Valley is terrific! Ps: got here right on time and finished in 30 minutes! read more

Thank you Sean and Michelle for helping my Auntie out yesterday with her key. Y'all are amazing and always providing great customer service.

We wanted to take a moment to acknowledge and thank Nick, the technician, today who exceeded expectations in dealing with a house key that was stuck in our door lock. We tried all types of different tips and tricks over the weekend to remove the key but it would not budge and contacted Valley Lock & Safe this morning. Nick was knowledgeable, personable and professional not only in addressing our situation but also very attentive as we asked him other security-related questions. He took the extra time to explain things to us in a candid and easy to understand manner. read more

I recently visited the Valley Lock & Safe Locksmith in Indio, Ca. I am totally grateful for the superb and professional service that Richard F. provided me with. Initially, I went to 2 reputable business to have 3 (blank custom keys) made for my 1956 classic car but neither business was able to make them, they were afraid to damage the blank keys and both places told me that their computers couldn't read them. They did not want to even touch them. So, a friend of mine recommended me Valley Lock & Safe locksmith in Indio. I called them and Richard F. answered me, he told me not to worry, to stop by and he that would try his best to help me. When I got there, Richard F. inspected the blank keys and made me the copies in a matter of minutes, something that other huge businesses couldn't do. I can now breathe a sigh of relief as I looked for weeks for a business to make me these keys. Richard from Valley Lock & Safe is knowledgeable, professional and friendly. I recommend this Lock Smith. read more

I needed a new Subaru Key. Valley Lock and Safe ordered one for me and required no deposit. A few days later they called me to come in and get the key programmed to my car. I arrived at the appointment time and 10 minutes later drove away with a new key. This was done for half the cost of having the key replaced by the Dealer. Happy Customer! read more

Randy did a great job for me. I went to the Subaru dealership for a replacement key for my 2006 Outback. They wanted $17 for the blank security key and $65 to cut it. I bought the blank and brought it to Randy. He cut it in two minutes for free and it works perfectly. I also bought the key fob from the Dealership and found a YouTube, so I can program it myself. read more

What a hidden treasure! The guys at Valley Lock & Safe are awesome, especially Richard Ferriera, the store manager. Brought him my lock, which was damaged by one of the vendors. He tried to fix it for me, but I didn't have all the parts. He was able to get me a better lock, with a longer shackle, which was double the cost of my original lock, but he insisted on being more than fair and gave me a great discount, rekeyed my new lock with a key retain- feature and I was on my way. I also had another issue that he was able to resolve for me, and even have me a better idea. Visit this store, by El Super in Indio. I highly recommend it. read more
