I recently had an issue with the lock on my front door. They asked me to send photos and texted me in a timely way. They offered to show me how to fix the issue over the phone with no charge. However, I opted to pay the fee for them to come out to the house to fix the issue as well as have the lock re--keyed. Cristal was a true lifesaver today. Two dogs locked in a hot car (with engine running & AC on & temp constantly monitored) for the 22 min it took AAA to arrive made me realize today was the day to try to get a "spare" key fob for the car. A freaky incident occurred where the primary bathroom door was locked from the inside and we didn't know how that happened! I had a very old HON lateral four drawer file to which I had lost the key. I called Valley Lock and Ken answered. He asked me to give him the code etched into the lock. He said they would be able to make a new key from that code. I went to the business about three hours later and started to ask for a key to be made and Ken remembered the code from our conversation. 10 minutes later and for $25 I had a new key. I locked myself out of my closet that has a Schlage Encode Smart Lock on it....and the backup manual key was locked inside (idiot moment!!). I had first called a 24 hour place last night and they were actually slightly cheaper, but I didn't get the best vibe, so I actually tried to YouTube and pick the lock myself...didn't work, of course. So, I proceeded to remove the pins from the door hinges and forgot the deadbolt still wouldnt allow that to be a fix (duh!). Fast forward to today and we called this company. It was $20 more, but they said "Tim 9" would be over within 90 minutes. He was to our place much sooner and it only took Tim five minutes to unlock it for us with his tools.
