DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE!!! I had my bathtub replaced with a walk in shower. Pacific Bath was the most expensive, but the salesman convinced me their product was superior, so I went with them. Their "superior" wall material broke twice when they were cutting it to fit, each break causing a 1 day delay in completion. My 2 day install took 5DAYS. When I requested a rebate for the value of my time (3 extra days of sitting around my house, either waiting for them to show up or being here while they were working), they refused to give me any credit. They offered me a gift basket, which mostly consisted of crummy items from Kohler that they probably got for free from the company. If I could give a 1/2 credit, I would add it for their installers, who were great, but their management team was worthless. Once they had their money they didn't give a damn. read more

They went over details of the installation and made sure everything was placed where we wanted them. A change ended up needing to be made and they easily took care of that by the second day. Not only is it unsafe for my daughter who I bought it for the shower head broke. I can't put her in it and shut the door for a bath, so I have a step in it so I can get her in and set her on the seat. So today I get her in there and was showering her with the door open as it's the only way she can be in there safely. I wanted to adjust the spray on the shower head and it broke. Since that time 5 days ago, I've gotten 5+ calls a day from this company and I've been too busy to answer. Each time they leave a message from a different sales rep asking for a call back. I finally had a moment to answer one today and shared feedback with "Thomas" that I felt their call system was way too aggressive and I didn't appreciate it and this would not be moving forward with getting a quote. Thomas got very snarky and a bit belligerent with me basically blaming me for putting my information in the form and not returning any of the messages to get the quote I asked for. I told him his attitude sucked and he said "I know". I will *never* explore services with this company. If this is how they try to onboard a new customer, I can only imagine how awful their service/follow through would be. read more

Do not trust the quick installation promise by pacific bath. Shower installation was completed in 3 days but the remaining work ( painting, base board, etc...) was close to 3 month to complete. During the demolition of the old shower, wood floor was damaged and it's now 7 month since start of the project and after several visits to assess the damage, I have not heard back from Pacific bath in 3 month. I purchased a shower conversion from Kohler/Pacific Bath in early 2023 replacing a 35 year old bath tub. The installers arrived on time, had all of the equipment he needed and did the demo. Unfortunately, we found I had water damage due to years of leakage. This needed to be repaired and it stopped work. The repairs were done that weekend and they came out a couple of days later and did a good job getting the done quickly. This included sending out someone to retexture the walls and ceiling where they worked to ensure it was seamless. I haven't had any major problems at all but noticed after a year or so that some of the hand rails were getting loose. I called Pacific bath and they sent a person out quickly who tuned everything up. While there he noticed a small issue at the top of the shower that we had not seen. He reported it and Pacific Bath sent someone out today to replace the entire wall! They could have short cut the repair with caulking but no, the installer said they wanted to do it right. I am very impressed with their customer service and appreciate the extra steps they took to ensure I won't have future problems. I highly recommend them if you are considering a conversion. read more

Nightmire! Over two months to finish install after original attempt to install. The first time the quality of the workmanship of the "finished" shower was so bad that they had to come back several weeks later to fix. This included shower trim with huge gaps, drywall destruction around shower with gaps in caulking, etc. When they came back they damaged the pan. Then it was several weeks while Pacific Bath and Kohler were obviously arguing about who caused the damage. Finally had to tear the whole shower out and replace everything again because of damage to pan. In the meantime I had a bathroom that was under construction and while I was able to use the shower, I had to deal with the half-finished construction for over two months. I can however say that the employees and technicians were good about finally fixing the problems. I was also able to change the color of the pan on the second redo. read more

Do not buy a bath conversion from Pacific Bath. Even though they are proud of their affiliation with Kohler, Pacific Bath and all of their myriads of subsidiaries are not worthy of the fine name of Kohler. They advertise 1-2 day completion, but in actuality it takes 4 very long days. The first day of my ordeal was supposed to start at 8:00 AM. It started at 10:00. The company told me that two trained men would handle the demolition. One showed up, his name was Andrew and he did not have the tools to adequately perform the task. He put very thin sheets of plastic up to try and contain the dust and debris. That didn't work. There was dust, grit and pieces of concrete everywhere. He used a sledge hammer and I was subjected to 5 hours of the loudest banging. At 3 or 4:00 two men arrived and relieved the first guy. The names of these men were Gerardo and Cesar. That's when I found out that Andrew had 1 month on the job and no training. The tools and help he was supposed to have left for another job. His name was Danny. He never came in my home to assess the project nor leave the necessary tools to adequately complete the task of demolition. Andrew not only demolished the existing shower/bath, but ruined two adjacent walls. I had dust grit and chunks of concrete from the bath, the guest room to the front door. The flooring is permanently scratched. The adjacent walls were compromised and I now have a footlong crack in the ceiling. I reported this on a daily basis, but to no avail. The two men who finished the job were very apologetic and did all they could to rectify the problems incurred. The job started on Wednesday with completion on Thursday. I gave them one day of grace. I had 2 doctor appointments on Friday. I had to reschedule those appointments and lost Friday and Saturday. read more

I called and asked for a quote for a shower and a bath replacement. The sales man came out ready for the hard sell. He wasted 1 1/2 hours talking mostly B.S about how good Kohler and pacific bath was. After all this time he verbally mentioned the individual quotes. 15 K for the bath and 17 for the shower, I asked him to email me the quotes, now a week and a half later I have seen nothing. What crappy service! On top of that both jobs probably involve about 6K of material and 3K of labor, that's at retail prices and about 250 an hour for labor. What a rip off this place is! read more

Disappointed. We were promised a premium shower installation, but the product delivered did not meet our expectations, or what was promised. The shower walls did not extend to the ceiling as promised, and the workmanship seemed sub-professional, at least for a premium shower. The customer service response to our complaints was professional, and some additional work was done, but the goal of getting the product that we were promised was not reached and the discount offered only covered the damages to our bathroom from the install. And don't believe the sales pitch about leaving your house spotless when they leave. We experienced over six hours of additional cleaning, vacuuming and scrubbing after they left. We are looking at additional painting and drywall detail work to repair the damages done during installation. I suggest if you are considering this company, think carefully during their high-pressure sales pitch. Their premium product and install, might not be up to your expectations either. read more

We had a new walk in shower placed Jan/ Feb 2022. We were pleased with how it turned out. The men that came we very nice and professional . They communicated with us thru - out the project. They cleaned up everything. We have been having issues with the shower door sticking and on occasion I have been nervous about pulling too hard. We have had several communications with the company sending people that weren't sure what they were supposed to do. One guy came thinking he was going to install grab bars but they were already done. The reason for the 3 stars is communication. As a customer it has been very frustrating. Messages are not being passed on to other employee's etc. We are told they will call back to confirm times and we don't get a call. The work that was done great! The communication is very poor so beware you will have to make a lot of calls. read more

The Saga of the Twenty-One Thousand Dollar Shower I have been looking into redoing my bathroom in my house. It's a builder grade fiberglass bath/shower combo. I'd like to have a walk-in shower with doors and a few higher end features like body jets, a rain showerhead and a finish that is something other than fiberglass white. While the existing shower works just fine, I think this upgrade, in addition to being something I'd like, could help the equity of the home later if I ever should move. I saw the add for Kohler and a product called "LuxStone". I've been looking around at different finishes and some of these fake shower surrounds can look nice. According to the Internet "LuxStone" is not fake but is prefabricated and then cut to size on site. While I have yet to be able to actually find out what LuxStone is, I'm don't think I trust it at this point. I filled out the online form and was later contacted by an outfit called "Pacific Bath Company". Pacific Bath called me and left a message. I returned their call about 20 minutes later and was placed on hold. I hung up after about 20 minutes on hold and emailed. We were able to link up after that and they scheduled a salesman to come out to measure and go over options for finishing and features. The salesman came over the following day and arrived on time and seemed friendly. The sales "meeting" takes over an hour. He went up to the bathroom and took about 5 minutes to measure and then wanted to sit down and go over a number of things. This is where things took a turn for the worse. The presentation is a high-pressure sales presentation, especially at the end. I'll get to that in a moment. During the meeting there were several things I was told that in my opinion are not true. Several points: 1) The salesman told me several times that the Kohler product is the same price as any other shower replacement. Actual fact: It's not, it's about 60% more. 2) The salesman told me that there were no permits required other than for moving the drain. This should always be a "red flag" when getting bids from contractors. I checked with the State of Oregon. Actual fact: This job does require several permits. According to the State of Oregon website "ANY change to a structure, plumbing, electrical, etc. requires permits". Considering this project would require demo of the old tub, removal of the existing drywall, removal of the old plumbing, installation of new plumbing, installation of new drywall and the finish there would be in fact a number of required permits, several beyond just the drain. 3) The salesman told me that they couldn't offer body jets because "they are illegal in the State of Washington". Besides the fact that this is already weird considering neither Pacific Bath Company nor my home are in the State of Washington, it turns out this probably isn't true there either. I checked with the State of Washington. Actual fact: There is a rule in Washington State that requires a maximum flow of 1.8gpm if your shower has multiple heads. I can't find any restriction on body jets. Again, it's moot, none of us are in Washington State. 4) The salesman and the website both state there is a lifetime warranty; however, on the quote sheet it gives both a lifetime and 3 year limited warranty. This 3-year limited warranty was not mentioned during the sales presentation and I only found out about it when I read the quote sheet. 5) The salesman refused to provide a contract, scope of work or even a list of what was to be done. The only thing provided was the quote sheet in the photo. Anytime one is investing in a construction project it is normal practice and you always should have a complete list of what is going to be completed. Not verbal but in writing. 7) He showed me a list of estimated costs of various projects around the house. This list was in a 3-ring binder so I couldn't keep it but he called it the "Blue Book" of remodel projects. The problem is that it showed an amount for a bathtub replacement that was about double the suggested price online. Reputable sites like Home Advisor have this project at between $2150 and $7950 and Home Depot puts it at between $6,000 and $10,000. In both cases they quote less than half of what Pacific Bath did in the high point with high-end finishes. This is less than half of Pacific Bath's $21,000 quote and even with the "discounts" to $19,500 you can still find a much better deal. The other issue I had is that I needed to get an electrical bid as part of this project and would be doing that the following week. The salesman knew this from the start, and we had agreed he would contact me after that (3 days later) to finalize. At the end of the presentation, he went into SUPER HIGH-PRESSURE SALES MODE. Another example of how EXCELLENT customer service can change your mind when you feel like you're going to have to go to battle to right a wrong. My parents contracted with PBC for a replacement shower. There were a couple of mistakes which resulted in the shower they brought to install being too big. A replacement was ordered, but it would take about 6-weeks. My parents decided to go in a different direction and canceled the entire project. They were told they would be charged a $2700 "restocking" fee. My parents spent much of the day yesterday trying to get this fee waived, as it was an error on the part of PBC. My mother called me today, quite upset. $2700 is a HUGE amount of money for them to lose. I told her that I would call and see if I could get the situation resolved. Now, I was a bit ticked off and felt like PBC was trying to pull one over on my elderly parents. I researched the law regarding restocking fees and discovered that in this instance, it would be illegal for PBC to charge them. I had an entire page of notes and I was ready to make my case. I called and was transferred to four different people who all patiently let me tell my side of the story and then transferred me to a person who could help me, and so on...These ladies that I talked with were very friendly and seemed to truly want to help me get this taken care of. The final transfer was to the GM who was out of the office, but I could leave a message. Honestly, I thought I'd never hear from them again. To my surprise, at 4:45 on a Friday, the GM, Eban, called me. I didn't even have to explain the problem. He told me he knew exactly what the issue was and that charging a restocking fee was absolutely wrong in this situation. He apologized profusely and reassured me that my parents would receive a 100% refund. He then gave me his personal cell number and told me to give him a call if there were anymore problems. He was calm, polite, knowledgeable and really turned the whole situation into an experience where now my parents feel like VIP's! I expressed how difficult it is to see your elderly parents in a situation that appears as if they're being taken advantage of. He agreed and expressed the same concerns for his parents. We had our new shower installed on 1/19 and 20th. The grab bar is too high and needs to be lowered 2-3". We've left 4 voicemails since Saturday morning, basically one message a day. Haven't heard back from anyone. Today is 1/25. I just submitted a request for an appointment under a false name and address and received a call from Mahogany in scheduling within 3 minutes of hitting the submit button. Our salesman, Eric, said he's emailed twice about the issue, and was surprised no one's gotten back to us. It's pretty sad when a customer has to resort to trickery to get the company to respond. Our Old and Dated jetted Tub/Shower Combo remodeled to our new Luxury Shower!! My wife and I have been talking about remodeling our main bathroom for several years since we bought the place in 2012. The bathroom probably dates back to 1973 when our home was built. We had received multiple insulting quotes from other contractors and they were just plain disrespectful! I contacted Pacific Bath Company and they were genuinely interested in and respected our plans, our budget, and our time! The consultation was very informative, outlining different options that we could custom tailor to our budget. The main office checked in periodically prior to the remodel and made sure we knew what to expect and that we didn't have any questions, and the questions we did have, were answered. We were told during our consultation that the remodel would take about 3-5 days, but they were in and out in 2!! Following the remodel, the office called again to check in to make sure that everything went well and to see if there were any follow-up questions or concerns after the remodeling team was done. The onsite workers were professional and took extra care not to scratch out walls and floors, as well as being care not to track debris through the house. This company is the worst to work with!!! I had a walk-in shower installed in our upstairs bathroom in the fall of 2021 and I have had nothing but problems. Also, they have terrible customer service and communication. See the following list. 1. They had to come back three times to re-anchor the chair to the wall. 2. They came back two to three times to re-caulk. 3. One plumber that came to check on something, can't remember exactly what, bent the face plate around the on/off nozzle. I had to have that replaced. 4. The shower door, that I paid extra for because it was "custom", consists of one panel thicker than the other. I am still waiting on that to be replaced. 5. When they installed my shower, they failed to seal the corner seams. Come one year later we discovered a leak that damaged the ceiling and part of the wall in the hallway on the main floor. They sealed the corners and had the wall and ceiling drywalled, but no texturing or priming. Please take note that we discovered the leak in October 2022 and I am still dealing with this in February 2023. They wanted to have one of their employees paint. I said no. I hired a professional painter, with their approval. First, they questioned why my painter textured and I told them because their person didn't. This conversation took over two weeks because they are HORRIBLE at communicating. They said they would reimburse me as soon as I would sign some "papers". Again, this was a two week process because of their terrible communication. Now they won't pay me until I sign a release of liability, the "papers" I needed to sign. This whole issue was because of their negligence of NOT SEALING properly from the INITIAL installment. Now they want me to release them from any wrong doing! DO NOT HIRE THIS COMANY!!! read more

We hired Pacific Bath to re-model a downstairs bathroom. Everything was great from the guys who installed and the contractor who came back to fix something afterwards. But!! I say a Big But, they sold my financing to a Loan Shark company in Florida, who charged me 11.9% 15 years of payments and the total interest was going to be more then the shower itself. Can you imagine? So I took my own funds and just got a secured loan for 3.2% and only 5 years. It felt good to Fedex a cashiers check to them so they get the payoff before the first payment is due. AVOID THIS COMPANY!! The only selling point is their promised 1-2 day install. I am currently at 7 days and it is still not complete. My home is 2 hours from their site and they would not allow their crew to bring extra materials in case something broke (it did) or was defective (BOTH glass doors were). Their product is consistent with a shower stall kit from one of the big box stores but it will cost you 10 times as much. Also, I contacted my salesperson on Monday and as of today, Thursday, no response from him. I will be going the traditional route with a contractor to renovate my other 2 bathrooms. Their literature claims their goal is to make each customer a "Raving Fan"! Well, I can say this is all BS! The final result was an amature install, with wrong sized products, mismatched finishes, inferior cuts, caulk joints and stock/standard glass doors rather than custom as had been promised upon purchase. Their customer service is non existant, their attitude toward resolving issues is definately not based on the needs or desires of the customer. When paying a premium for a supposed premium product you should receive a superior install but that is far from the case. I have been attempting to assist my sister with whom I live with in Newport, Oregon. My sister is 77 and handicapped wheelchair bound & husband is 83 years old. The initial problem was that the upstairs shower had a barrier and a confining space. The shower would not let her roll in with her wheelchair or walker or maneuver once inside. My sister called Pacific Bath in Portland Oregon for help getting more space in the shower and a no barrier entrance shower. The salesperson David Ray came to the home. He assured them on multiple occasions that they would have extra room in the shower and be able to roll in. An agreement signed October 2022. Nowhere n that agreement is a diagram or statement that a shower barrier of 3"x3" would be installed. Furthermore, during construction my sister stopped the technician Paul, and told him that he was installing the wrong shower. He replied that he would fix that and when he was done, she would like it. The shower now has a 3"x3" barrier. After months of complaints, on June 22 a conference call was completed with Andrea Cordova the Executive VP. Andrea said they would redo the shower and start immediately. She stated that Pacific did not do handicapper showers. It would have been good if David Ray had stated that last October and referred us to someone who did them. We asked for a pause and wanted a detailed plan. Pacific then sent Jarett to the house to develop that plan on June 28 2023. Jarett suggested a shower pan with a 1.5" barrier and small rams as a compromise. On June 28, 2023 the General Manager Eben Dickinson indicated he was sending over a release for the re-construction. The release was received but did not address:1. No ramp specifications were included 2. The Kohler part 1935-0 (1.6:" barrier) was not detailed. 3. No ramps were included 4. No handicap hand rails/grab bars 5. The Freedom Accessible APF 4836BF Pan not considered. The statement of work provided in effect this would be installing the original shower that came with the house and does not solve the provided. The shorter barrier was not specified. We requested that PB fix the construction to the Hays original specifications, and if necessary, find fixtures. 06/30/2023 PB VP email: offers $3000 to settle. Andrea stated that Pacific will not install or work with other manufacturers products. We need a full refund of about $15,000 plus the cost to remove the wrong shower installed of about $2000 estimated. read more

I had the wonderful opportunity to purchase a Kohler walk-in shower with the Lux stone walls and glass doors. The two installers, Michael and Robert, were very professional. They did an amazing job installing and the finish work. They answered all of my questions, and when they were removing a wall portion, they discovered a second wall behind it. They both have a great sense of humor and provided excellent craftsmanship at the same time. I have proudly shown my new shower to friends and family. I had seen the advertisement on Facebook and wanted to get an estimate to replace our master shower. It was easy to make an appointment within a reasonable time. Michael W. came a little late, but he did call and let us know. When he was here, we showed him the shower and he said great that it is a standard size. We then went to talk about price, etc. He did not bring in the samples to choose from, just had his computer which only was showing the basic looks on their website. We asked him to bring in the samples and would like an estimate. He asked us what we would want for the shower and we were wanting the basic items. He then said, "Oh that sounds like an estimate I just did for another client". Then gave us the paper estimate to look at with the other customers information such as their names and address and what they were getting done and the total cost and talked about the discounts such as essential worker discount, etc. We told him we liked what the estimate was and wanted gray color. We thought it was weird that he did not write anything down. He asked us if we wanted a written estimate or an email of the estimate. We chose to have him email the estimate to us and he confirmed my email address and then left. This was on a Monday. We did not hear from him, so on Friday I called his number, told him my name and asked him if he was going to email me the estimate. He said, "you should have gotten it, check your spam folder." I checked and did not receive any email from him or Pacific Bath Company regarding an estimate. He asked me to text him my email address so he could resend it and I did after hanging up. He called me back about 30 minutes later and said that he couldn't find anything written and then preceded to say, "you are on Henderson St right?" I said no, and told him our address. He then said, "sorry, I spoke with so many people yesterday." I then told him he came to our home on Monday, and that he did not write anything down. He then said that the estimate was $13,900, I told him that he showed us another client's estimate that was for $12,700 and that was going to be what our estimate was going to be since we were getting the same. I told him WOW I cannot believe you seriously forgot, we are taking our business elsewhere. I was so shocked at how someone could just not remember anything about our meeting and not write anything down as a sales person. Very unhappy with the result of my walk in shower done by Pacific bath .I thought , I can have bigger shower space than a bathtub . I just close my eye and not to think about the amount of a walk in shower because it's so expensive for just walk in shower , I'm paying almost$18,000 thinking that I get more beautiful and comfortable shower in which I did not get. The space looks the same with the bathtub, it's feels more less space now because always hit the bottles were they been placed and the shower door handle always gets my elbow. Very unhappy with the results with amount that I'm paying it's be should more classy and comfortable. On June 26, 2021 we met with Pacific Bath Company to update our master bath. They were to remove the shower and jetted tub, It was a 4 week wait due to the pandemic . We were to receive a phone call every 2 weeks with updates. First call on August 25 2021 product has not been received. September 13 2021 product is in but not the special order shower pan. September 20 2021 everything is in but has to be inspected before we can get date to install. October 4 2021 Installers her working on the project but the shower pan is faulty and has to be removed.. It will take another 10 WEEKS to order another one. We didn't want to wait so had to change the design to fit 6 foot shower pan that was in stock. Since we had to change the design a special order glass door had had to be measured and ordered. On November 17 2021 the Glass Door was installed. A job that was to take two days ended up taking 4 MONTHS. I requested a complete breakdown for the cost of $23,834.00 Materials, Labor and any other charges from Pacific Bath Company but was told the Company does not allow price breakdown? I would not recommend Pacific Bath Company to anyone. read more

I recently, by chance, happened to be at my parents house when a salesman, Kris K., (as well as a trainee?), came out to give them a bid to put in an ADA shower. He was very friendly at the time. After an hour he came up with the bid of over $19K. The three of us had quite the sticker shock. My dad said they would need to talk that over, Kris said he would wait outside, and when my dad stated they would need multiple days to discuss, funny Kris turned into hostile and aggressive Kris. Multiple times he complained how he made the effort to go to their house just to waste his time. My dad asked twice for a written bid and was refused. Kris stated to him, "What do you need that for? You just saw what I had written down on my paper." My dad stands up from the table, and Kris nastily says "Oh I see how it is, you stand up so I guess we're done now." It appeared he tried to intimidate them and belittle them. I had to finally tell him to leave and escorted them out of my parents house. I was shocked at how he treated them. Looking at many of the other reviews, it seems this is how this company runs and I will also be contacting the BBB. read more

We just had our bathtub removed and a walk-in shower installed this past week by Pacific Bath. I retired from the construction and facilities management fields and can say without hesitation that this company delivered on all aspects of the project, from the estimate given by Jason, the scheduling done by Melissa, to the work executed by Shane Baltus and Josh Hammers, as well as the the plumbers who took care of their end. At no time did anyone with this company attempt to up-sell us, nor were there any surprises along the way. The work was professionally done and we were kept informed of progress or issues throughout the three days it took for the work to be completed. This house was built in 1904 and there is nothing in the place that is plumb, level or square, so there were some real challenges to overcome to get surfaces to match up. Despite the challenges, the job was completed on time and within the estimate. All work was done with exceptional skill. The crew cleaned up the job site daily, put down walk-off mats through the house, and even took care to not let the screen door slam when entering or leaving. They showed up on time, and unlike contractors in the past, spent all available time working to complete the job. They all seemed to like each other and communicated well with each other. When the project was finished, we were walked through all aspects of operation and cleaning, and the crew scrubbed down the bathroom to remove all debris, dirt and dust. GOOD JOB!! read more
