Pat's construction did a good job on items related to removing wood rot, improving drainage. Where they could improve is attention to detail on their wood working and completing all the details of the job.. Let's just say if you are going to use them, check their work before they leave for the day. In several areas they cut away the wood rot and left it cropped, without replacing the wood. Also, even though I walked through the job explaining the work and provided a detailed inspectors report and a checklist, there were many items I had to call them back to complete. We also had to hire another handyman because the deck they rebuilt had uneven and jagged edges where they cut. I have photos but can't find where to attach to my review. read more

Pat and the crew are one of the best I've ever worked with. One of our properties has a crawlspace that suffered from heavy water damage. Pat's also installed seepage tile and a sump pump in my crawlspace. John's communication was good during the project to answer my questions and advise us of their work schedule . We contacted Pat's Construction about a foundation problem we were having in one corner of the home we had just purchased this past Spring. The settlement was due to a barely functioning drainage system. Pat's Construction stabilized the footing and replaced the drainage system with one that drained into dry wells on the property. We found them to be knowledgeable, competent, and experienced in this work. Their employees were well trained and hard working. Their prices were reasonable and the work was done on time. I found Pat's Construction via Yelp when I sent out an inquiry to multiple businesses that dealt with crawl space and foundation work. He responded immediately and we set up an inspection right away. That was very convenient and I was impressed with how quickly he got back to us. He came by and checked out the situation which was to widen the crawl space opening, remove a dead raccoon that had apparently been living under there, etc. He told my husband that he could do the work Monday or Tuesday the following week. He let us know that he would be sending over a written estimate. He did quote us at $1300. The minute he left, my partner told me about it and we just jumped on it. Pat honored his quote and got the work done. I am removing only one star because the communication can be improved on. Having said all of this, I do recommend Patricio. Pat and crew did a professional job and went beyond our expectations. We had just a small project to install a French drain connected to a downspout. This required sawing through concrete, removing and replacing pavers, lifting and replacing sod when hand trenching 40 feet to a hand dug deep French drain. They left the worksite in great condition, sod placed back and tamped down, new concrete meticulously framed and poured, excess dirt moved to an area we wanted. We have asked Pat's to quote on additional projects. It's nice to have an association with Pat. And just as nice to feel we made a great choice at a reasonable price. read more

Pat's Construction replaced rotten railings around the concrete stairs leading to my front door. They attended to some rotten areas on my deck. Near the end of the job I asked them to fix my falling over mailbox. I had an official bid the next day, and the day after that it was fixed too. They did everything they said they would do, at the time they said they'd do it, and it all turned out well. Everyone on the crew was friendly and worked hard.
