New Leaf completed a thorough inspection (they were actually sent by the seller), provided a fair bid, and were gracious enough to offer a payment plan. When they came to do the work over the course of three days, they were hard working and cleaned up after themselves. One of my favorite things, though, was overhearing someone telling the group these encouraging things like "diamonds are made from pressure!" Just thought that a company that supported their people was a company everyone should support. Our HVAC contractor was also super impressed with them! Would 1000% hire again. I swear our house immediately got warmer because of the insulation!

The salesman, customer service and installation team I dealt with are second to none and I couldn't be more pleased with the quality and outcome of my patio! My personal opinion is this product is much better than the epoxy coatings that are available. Overall, very happy with TerraFirma and Vuba Stone.

I had this company install a sump pump, all new French drains and vapor barrier in my home's crawl…read morespace due to standing water. Less than 2 years later they came for an annual inspection and their sales rep told me due to visible mold, he urged me to get encapsulation for $26,000! I nearly had a heart attack! He didn't even offer a discount on the work they already did which would all have to be redone. But he sure pushed to finance it. Such a sham! I had an official inspector evaluate the condition and promptly told me there was no need at all, minimal mold and good air temp. Beware of this company's sales tactics and pressure. Unfortunately my warranty is through them so I'm stuck. But you can make a better informed decision!

I had a sketchy company do work on my crawlspace a few years ago and they've since fallen off the face of the earth. I was nervous to have a new company come out and 1) find something wrong and 2) try to sell me on things I didn't need. Michael H. with Better Basements and Waterproofing was honest - what was done by the former company wasn't up to his standards, however, it's fine for now and we can probably wait a few years before having any work done again. He also said we could use Better Basements and Waterproofing for sump pump maintenance (since we can't use the original company), however, he reassured me there isn't a binding yearly contract and I can just call if I'm interested (no need to agree this moment). I appreciated how honest and thorough he was in his inspection and in his explanations of everything. I've had a lot of companies over the years try to sell me on things I don't actually need. Michael didn't, and because of that, I actually will probably use Better Basements and Waterproofing in the future if I do need work done.

I recently discovered water in my crawl space and contacted Ability Plus Drainage after finding…read morethem online. Within two days, they sent an inspector to assess the situation. He developed a clear plan to install a French drain to route the water to the existing drain leading out to the street, or, if that wasn't possible, to install a sump pump. The crew arrived as scheduled and worked extremely hard to resolve the issue. They were able to tie into the existing drain, which ultimately saved me $1,800. Everyone I dealt with was professional, courteous, and took great care to keep my home as clean as possible--especially impressive considering most of the work was done through a 4' x 4' closet floor opening located at a far end of the house. I highly recommend Ability Plus Drainage for any water-related problems you may be experiencing in your home. Sincerely, Dennis Cloutier Forest Grove, OR
