Garrett C. performed a thorough inspection, explaining the process and sharing details with me the entire time. I feel informed and empowered by the knowledge I gained. I found Garrett to be knowledgeable, honest, direct and trustworthy. The inspection provided me peace of mind and that's truly priceless. The fact that Ram Jack offers inspection services at no charge is incredible. It's an unbeatable value from a top tier company. I will be contacting Ram Jack/Garrett C. again in the future for any/all foundation needs. Highly recommend, 10/10!

Two of the companies spent about 15 minutes each and left. Ram Jack West sent a structural engineer out. We went ahead with his recommendations and had the work done. I think more for our peace of mind and to prevent anything in the future. The crew that did the work were great. They were on time , polite , and hard working. two more engineers came out during the work to observe the work was preformed correctly with the helical pile shafts. There was no mess left when the work was finished. Just a really great job by everyone. Thank you Ram Jack.

We quickly met with several waterproofing teams and got several quotes before we moved forward with Sam. Sam and his team were the only contractors that felt genuine, that felt confident about understanding what was going on in our basement and the only contractor that wasn't trying to sell us on the most expensive solution, but only working with us to find the right solution for the best value. Sam was always communicative, prompt, great at explaining the work and his team did a quick & thorough job. Would highly recommend New Vista to anyone in the Vancouver/Portland area needing waterproofing work done!

We were so thrilled to get Samuel and Christian and their team to help us in redoing our property drainage. They are like surgeons the way they trenched our new drainage paths and secured all of the new pipe fittings leading up to a new drywell. It poured rain for two days straight and they still had smiles on their face the entire time. They were so respectful of our existing plants, were incredibly tidy in a process that could otherwise be pretty muddy and messy, and a joy to have at our home. Their work was truly excellent and would highly recommend New Vista Construction. I'm almost excited for more May rain!

Be aware: Your estimate may be nowhere near your final cost…read more We purchased a house that had a shop with squirrel burrows under it. I called TerraFirma and a couple other companies to get quotes. RJ arrived and I explained the issue. He took about 45 minutes to inspect and gave me an estimate for under $4,000. I was happy with that, signed the agreement, and cancelled the other companies' visits. A date was scheduled for a month later (just before Christmas). The technician Jeremy arrived on time and prepared. He was easy to get along with. A few hours after he informed me that he finished about 1/3 of the shop and that was all the foam in the estimate. He told me that he could stop or continue, but there is an extra cost. I felt like I really had no other option but continue. Jeremy seemed to empathize with the situation I was in and did what he could to keep the cost down. After all was set and done, my $4,000 estimate had turned into almost $10,000. I was unable to get in touch with RJ to talk about it at the time. He left a voicemail stating he was on vacation, but would elevate it with the team. After the new year I left voicemails with Victoria, the project manager, several times over a week and a half with no return call, even though being told she was in the office. I finally explained my issue with the person who answered the company's main line and that I had left several messages with no response. She advised that she would send an urgent note to Victoria and her boss. The next day I received an email from Victoria simply stating the technician had already given me a break and that I signed the authorization for additional work. I understand overages and that estimates are just a best guess, but my final cost was way over twice the original estimate, my calls were ignored, and the company does not seem to be concerned that my project was $6,000 over the estimate. Needless to say, I will not be doing business with them again.

We were really impressed by how Rock Solid handled it. Last week, a year after the original project, they sent out a crew to resurface, reslope, retexture and recolor the deck. They really demonstrated a high level of accountability and integrity. Not all contractors would have done this. We're very pleased with our experience. We've had a chance to meet many of their team members. This time, Devin brought Hannah, Spencer and Brody. They were all really hard working, and demonstrated a very quality conscious attitude. Our experience was that they really want the customer to be happy. We were grateful for their efforts. There are many different ways that a company can handle a situation where something goes wrong. Rock Solid really hit the ball out of the park on this one. They were really great to work with. 5 Stars!

I contacted several waterproofing companies, all of whom sent out estimators. I found Mikael of Rock Solid to be very personable. He took all the Covid precautions and got a bid back to us within a few days. It was much better value than that of his competitors. The office called to schedule the work and it was done within two days. All the workers were pleasant and efficient, and the team leader even returned at the end of the second day to repair something his team had neglected to finish--much to my surprise, as I hadn't seen anything amiss. They left the work site very clean. The proof of their work is that during the heavy rains of the past few days, the basement is as dry as a bone! I would highly recommend this company if you have recurrent problems with basement leaks.

He took the time to survey the property and I appreciated that he could offer us a variety of water proofing services as well as foundation repair if needed. They excavated a foot too low. There were multiple change overs in personnel. We had to fire Pacific Rim halfway through. We are currently having to chisel out a whole section of wall that was improperly built. We have had to re-engineer the footings. I paid a deposit and an installment totaling $58,892 and they told me all my money was spent on the project and asked for more money. I told them I would pay subs as we went until the end of contract. Then I found out they hadn't paid a majority of the sub contractors. Currently, I know of more than $23,000 dollars in unpaid subcontractors. They then told those unpaid subcontractors they should lien my property for payment. NOTE: The original person I made the contract with was Nick Clark. He passed away just before breaking ground and Tony Clark, his partner and brother, took over the project.
