I haven't been to a laundromat in years! I stopped by because I needed to wash our king-size bed sheets. Our washer at home just isn't big enough, and it always takes multiple drying cycles, so I figured I'd give this place a try. I was pleasantly surprised. The laundromat is very clean, well maintained, and wasn't busy at all. The employee working there was incredibly friendly and helpful. I grew up using coin-operated machines with my mom, so I was expecting the old-school setup, but they use a laundry card instead. It was super easy to load the card with either cash or a credit/debit card, and she took the time to explain how everything worked. The floors were clean, the folding tables were spotless, and there were plenty of chairs to sit and wait. I even noticed the employee wiping down the outside of the machines, which says a lot about how much they care about keeping the place clean. The whole place felt safe, and I didn't see anyone hanging around that made me feel uncomfortable. Another bonus is that there's a McDonald's and an ampm within walking distance, so it's easy to grab a snack, a drink, or gas while you wait for your laundry. I'll definitely be coming back whenever we need to wash our bedding. Highly recommend! read more

Rude lady Came here a while ago. Put my load in. Was hoping to ask the lady if she does dry cleaning too or knows any dry cleaners in the area. Literally explodes on me, profusely states "look it up on your phone, what are you asking me for" Dont go here. I don't remember her name but she looked very similar to the mucinex commercial, the green snot. She's middle aged and tubby. Terrible human being. read more

As an outsider (not from WA), Renton gives me...not safe vibes. So I was really nervous coming here one morning by myself. Also, side note: I never use a laundromat, but I needed to wash a comforter that my cat puked on. So I was a complete novice to a laundromat and how it works. OGs will find this entire process much easier than I did. And honestly, it's simple after you do it your first time. Currently there's a lot of construction in the area and figuring out how to get in to the front parking lot is a little wonky. So I decided to get here about 20 min after it opened on a Saturday so I wouldn't have to deal with traffic. Which ended up being a great idea. (But the nice gentleman I was speaking with said there's an easier way to get to it from the back-like you end up pulling into the back parking lot, so there's that option too if you're not a morning person). There's parking in the front, on the side, and in the back. The laundromat didn't have many people in it, maybe like 8 when I first got there at about 7am? But as the morning went on it started filling up. A really nice gentleman saw I was struggling trying to figure everything out, so he showed me out how to use my credit card to load the special laundromat pre paid card that you get there. There are also attendants walking around who would have helped too. You have 4 sizes for laundry small, med, large, super. And that's the size of the washer, which is also the size of how much laundry you're putting in. They call small, med, large, etc - double, triple, super, etc. At first that was confusing, but now I understand why they named it that and it actually makes sense. The dryers are all HUGE. Which threw me off. They are all the same size. And you pay $.50 for every 7 min. That's the gist of it for first timers! It's intimidating at first because I didn't know what to expect. But everyone was SO nice! There's a bunch of people that use this place often so that tells me it's pretty good. Place was clean, everyone friendly, signs are everywhere so even if that nice man didn't help, I would have eventually figured it out. Also, if you use your card to fill up the prepaid laundry card-- it's a MIN of $3. So, figure out how much you're going to spend for the entire thing before paying the prepaid card. Great experience! 10/10 would totally come back! I felt very safe here. read more

Customer service and the laundromat is always clean. Also staff is very nice and friendly

I had to wash my king sized bedspread that's too big for my apartment sized washer/dryer so I came here. I was super intimidated by the new technology of paying. No more coins. Now you pay with a card that you purchase at a kiosk inside. Not hard. Then you can reload the card on future visits. The management is there to help you if you run into problems. And I did. They were very friendly and helpful. read more

Leslie & Julia are so kind and helpful!! I needed some guidance as every laundromat is different. Leslie & Julia were so patient and helped me put money on my card, use the machines correctly, and in general were so friendly and efficient. They did this while cleaning machines inside and out, helping other people, and making sure the facilities were safe & clean as well. Everyone in the place seemed happy & I know I was. I drove over from Burien to get here and it was worth it!!! Thank you so much, Renton Laundry. read more

Big hassle to deal with their laundry cards. The floor shakes like an earthquake, makes me question safety. 12/50 dryers are for the public. The rest say "no dry here" read more

This was the third business we drove to and I'm so glad we did. The facility was so clean and well taken care of. It's always very clean and smells nice. The bathrooms are clean!! Large variety of machines, which is nice, especially when I have a much larger load. The sell any and all laundry supplies you could need. That's come in handy a couple of times when I forgot something. The staff is always super friendly and they're always available to help if there's a problem. The parking lot is well lit and I always feel safe there, even at night. They also do drop-off service for an incredibly reasonable price, and the clothes always come back folded. I would definitely recommend this laundromat (especially if you have sleeping bags, comforters or anything else big and bulky!! The XXL capacity washers and dryers can handle it!!). read more

A well run business, the attendants were helpful, has newer equipment & there is a bathroom onsite if needed.

Clean facility, machines in perfect working order, and no need to bring quarters! Located at the southwest corner of Renton Airport, just across Rainier Ave. Our home washer suddenly died after 10 years of heavy use. We immediately ordered a new set, but with delivery a week out and needing to do laundry, Yelp lead me to Renton Laundry - what a great experience! As soon as we walked through the door, employee Leslie explained the process and the machines. She was so kind, attentive and helpful - great sense of humor too! ATM type machines take cash, debit and credit card where you purchase a "laundry card" that the washers & dryers take (washers & dryers don't accept cash or credit, they only accept the "laundry card"). At any time, you can slide your laundry card back into the ATM type machine and check your laundry card balance, and it shows the machines you used and the cost of each load you did - pretty cool! You can purchase detergent, there are TVs, vending machines, seating and free wifi. Plenty of free parking too! There's a taco truck out front, but understandably it wasn't open during our 8am visit. Tho I can't wait to get our new washer & dryer, I'm looking forward to at least one more visit to Leslie and Renton Laundry before our new setup arrives! Thank you Leslie, for making our day! read more

Very clean laundromat! You must have a laundry card to pay for washing and drying. There are card machines on the wall to replenish your card that accepts cash or debit cards. I love that there are employees on site to answer questions or assist if there is an issue. They also keep things tidy which a plus! I advise to arrive early as it can get busy. There is parking in the front and more parking in the back of the building. There is also a stationary Taco Truck in the front of the building that has pretty good tacos to enjoy while waiting for your clothes! read more

Experience was good. My dryer broke so I needed to go to the laundry mat and I asked if they offered services for them to do it since I have a young child and no time to sit with all 3 kids. They told me how much per pound and I had at least 5 loads and they said they would have it done in 3 hours. They also provided me with a receipt with invoice number and description to provide to my property manager. The total was more than I expected but worth it. They called me and emailed when finished and everything was folded so nicely which I didn't expect. It was a little difficult to get to through all the construction and also coming from south it's hard to get to. Pictures aren't great cause I didn't put a lot of effort read more

I only use laundromats when traveling but that gives me a wide perspective on what's good and what's not. This place has friendly helpful staff, new machines that seem to be kept very clean, and a very nice charge-card system that was VERY easy to use. Three cheers for Renton Laundry! read more

Pros: Clean and well-maintained facility; great hours; friendly customer service; large free parking lot with two entrances (front and back); taco truck outside of laundromat; highly recommend--come here biweekly to wash clothes/blankets; a lot of variety when it comes to washer sizes; have yet to come across a broken machine, as opposed to many other laundromats that have lots of broken machines; laundry card only--no dealing with quarters; bonus $2 added to laundry card if you add $20 in cash; can load money onto laundry card with cash or credit card Cons: Busy on weekends (but what place isn't?); a bit on the pricier side, but still affordable ($0.50 for 9 minutes of drying); I've been to laundromats with stronger dryers; for drying, must add 9 minutes at a time rather than shorter increments of time read more

Great fluff and fold service, pretty quick turn around. The ladies were pretty friendly

We were staying nearby at an Airbnb for an extended amount of time and they didn't have a washer and driver in the unit. Renton Laundry was just 5 mins away. Going to a laundromat was our main option and I'm glad that it was Renton Laundry. How it works: You get a card that you put money on from a machine in the front. Then you just dip the card into whichever washer or dryer you would like. They have several sizes of washers and they are actually pretty big capacity (even the smallest one!) compared to what someone might have at home. I love that the dryers are all just one rate for increments of 7 mins. I was able to do several loads simultaneously and save lots of time. And it took only about an hour from start to finish. The space is clean and well maintained. If we were in a position where we needed a laundromat, I wouldn't hesitate to come back! read more

Went here to Dry my clothes, due to my dryer being broken... And I was refused serviced because I didn't wash my clothes there... I was still coming there with my business going to pay to use their dryer but couldn't because you can't dry your clothes there, unless you wash and dry... This is the 1st and only laundry mat I have encountered that has this ridiculous rule. I don't recommend this place poor service and very rude owner. read more

Great spacious place, friendly environment. Permanent food truck outside. Card operated. Leslie is the friendliest and most helpful. The cleanest laundry mat in Washington by far. Reasonable hours especially with the structure of it being very immaculate and well watched with the best security. Plenty of parking so no one is cramped. Enter through the back road or off the main road. There are pros about this place with zero cons. It's very walkable to get most errands done while you're waiting on the wash. Gas station, supermarkets everything is available there. Keep to up!!! This place adds great value to the area! Thanks for being available!! read more

I've been here a few times throughout the years I've lived in Seattle. I drive my laundry out here because I like: - that there is always an attendant on site. Easy to ask questions about machines or get attention if I'm not sure how a machine works - that I can pay with a card. The laundry in my building is quarters only, which is really annoying when it comes to washing big items like bedding and towels - that it is clean! You can tell machines are regularly cleaned and are on the newer side. This means clothes get clean and dried more efficiently. I don't come here on a week-to-week basis, but it's nice when I want to do the BIG STUFF and get on with my day without having to beg the grocery store for rolls of quarters. Also, there is a popeye's not far from this location so I usually get myself a special laundry treat to enjoy while I wash. Minus one star because sometimes people are not so courteous with the laundry carts which means a bit more wait time/asking folks to use the carts they claimed while their laundry is in the wash. read more
