Very disappointed! I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. The lady was on her phone the first full hour after telling me her life drama. She didn't clean any of the showers and used a paint brush to clean all my nice furniture. None of the baseboards were cleaned. When I hire someone and write a list of the important things and sadly nothing got done.Sadly the day of a dinner party I had to end up cleaning when she left. As someone said previously no elbow grease is so true. My cleaner didn't do a very good job and didn't scrub the kitchen or the bathrooms. I had to redo the kitchen and the bathrooms. She didn't scrub the shower and tubs. When I pointed out she blamed that water is bad in this area. She was very slow and just did a mediocre job. Still saw some dirt in the corners afterwards. Asked me to borrow our vacuum as she didn't have one. I asked her to vacuum the sofas really good and she was asking me where are the attachments that she should have been using in the bedrooms so that explained the fact that she didn't clean the nooks and corners like she was suppose to. Or get some of those annoying spider webs. She dusted but didn't wipe Down some wood furniture properly as I noticed later. The reason you hire a helper is when you want a thorough job but having to clean somethings after she left was very disappointing!! Only thing I liked was the floor cleaner she used and her coordination with me on what I wanted cleaned next. Also, kept working with a little break in the middle. That's why 2 stars! This review is a month over due but better late than never! After living in our Elk Grove rental home for three years it was time to move. Between having to work full time and moving all of our belongings time was running out and we hadn't cleaned at all. After admitting to myself that I needed help I turned to my trusty Yelp. After reading many reviews I gave Josee at Rent Me Today a call and I am so glad I did. I explained to her what I needed and she asked details about our home and she gave me a fair and honest quote. Two days later her employee Angel (she truly is) and four other girls showed up and went to work. They cleaned every nook and cranny of our 1500 sq ft home...they even pulled out the washer, dryer, oven and fridge to clean behind them. Worth every penny!!! I have been using this service almost 2 years now and I have noticed there is quite a bit of inconsistency with the services depending on who is cleaning. I would also say that they have slacked up on customer service. I had a cleaning scheduled prior to a big event and no one showed up. When I contacted the owner, while she tried to contact the scheduled cleaner, did not make any other effort to find/ send someone else. I had to text her throughout the morning for an update/ follow up and just ended up having to do my own cleaning. As a loyal, regular customer I definitely feel more courtesy should have been shown for this failure. read more

Great service and really affordable. We recently remodeled a home and it was dirty due to the construction dust. Josée was prompt, helpful, and very sweet. At first we had scheduling issues but she was apologetic and immediately remedied the problem. We even got a discount because of the scheduling problems! Communicated mostly via text which is great for those of us who are really busy. Paid through check/PayPal and it was extremely smooth. I am very happy! DO NOT use this agency to clean your house!! I had an appraiser scheduled to come out to our house and told the agency this. I paid for a deep cleaning and they specifically asked what I wanted cleaned -Windows, baseboards, fans and light fixtures, mirrors, normal floors and surfaces, bathroom and minimal kitchen (we had already cleaned kitchen spic and span to speed up the process.) They assured me it would be done.I got home from work and walked in ...I could NOT believe it!!!! The house looked like it does when I do a Sat afternoon cleaning. Vacuumed, wiped down, but nothing beyond that. Where was the $300 deep clean!!??.DO NOT USE THIS CLEANERS!! There are so many other agencies that actually DO their job. The baseboards were wiped down, but not clean. Windows, fans, mirrors not done (not enough time they said.) I paid for 2 people 6 hrs!!! My dresser was wiped down on top, but towards the back, dust...same on the buffet. When I lifted things up.... dirty, dusty.. I found a sock with dust by my bed, so obviously they just quick mopped the hardwood floors, Same in the other bedroom, dust and such under the bed and on my little girls dresser; They took advantage of the fact that I left my mom there to oversee things and went to work.This was a deep clean and we ended up with a job we could have done. I sent photos of an open shelf in the bathroom barely cleaned and another not touched. They offered to come out again in a week-IF I paid for a few more hours!! They came out Monday and the appraisal was 2 days later. They offered to take $25 off the price and I told them I didn't want the money- I JUST WANTED THE HOUSE CLEANED!! My mom is 76 and spent the next few days doing the mirrors correctly and doing other details. She shouldn't have had to do that. Makes me sick that they just wanted more money after they did such a substandard job. They have been insulting and said if my house had been properly maintained, this wouldn't have happened. I live in Wilton. I have hardwood floors in all bedrooms and have had a room added, solar lights added. a deck built on..etc. It was appraised at $524,00. Great customer service, fantastic work ethic, and reasonable pricing! I've never had my house professionally cleaned, but it looks amazing now! Per my real estate agent's recommendations, I contacted Josée to set up the appointment. She was prompt in her responses. When Angel showed up at the scheduled time for the cleaning, I honestly wasn't sure what one person could accomplish on her own. I will never doubt Angel again! After reading the reviews I thought I'd give this place a try. Booked for a 4 hour cleaning today at 9am. Cleared up my schedule for 4 hours expecting them to come instead I get a phone call from them 20 minutes past the scheduled time saying their cleaning lady wouldn't be able to come due to unexpected events. I usually don't write reviews but I felt I had to because although I understand things happen but when the lady on the phone said she could get me in at 11:30am the same day with a different cleaning lady but once the clock hits 11:30 I get another phone call saying they had to cancel on me once again and it's recommended if I just reschedule for a different day. Are you kidding with me right now? What a good way to leave a first impression on a new customer. I'm actually glad they canceled on me so now I can take my business elsewhere. The owner said she would text me a date to confirm and would need a credit card payment to get started, great no problem. Then... Zero stars! Jackie called me while I was out and said she was done cleaning my house. Came home to do a walk through with her, pointed out the fact that she never vacuumed my bedroom, she didn't wipe ANYTHING down that goes back on top of my counters, didn't put anything back in its place that she moved, AND my tile floors look as if she just mopped it lightly with water. Horrible horrible horrible job! I should have known it was a bad sign when she spent 2 hours in my master and now I HAVE TO to dust what's on my nightstand and vacuum my carpet. I believe she sat on her butt when I left the house to run errands and did crap! I will never use an agency again! I have family coming into town today and my wedding Friday...not to mention I'm 8.5 months pregnant. I should have cleaned my house myself. Which is what I have to do anyway. Niki is a God-send, she goes above and beyond when she cleans! I can usually book her within a week, and with 3 dogs, often times a house full of people, and me going to school and working it is awesome to have someone like Niki whom I can trust to leave me a nice clean home to come home to! For the most part, our move out cleaning was fine. I was assured the entire time that I would not get any charges from my complex for cleaning. Unfortunately, one of the drawers in the refrigerator ended up cracked, the top of the refrigerator was not dusted, and a whole cabinet was not cleaned which resulted in an additional 2 hours of cleaning. ~$185 + additional ~$50 from complex....not a happy camper. Update: Josee responded to my review immediately and reimbursed for the additional charges charged by my old apartment complex. That's true customer service! Thank you again! read more

I called Rent Me Today on Thursday at 7pm with desperate hopes to hire a cleaner for the following day. I wasn't anticipating to hear there was availability but much to my surprise, I heard a "yes" and was relieved! I was so excited to have a cleaner, for the first time in my life but wasn't sure if my expectations would be satisfied. Michelle went above and beyond my expectations and did a fabulous job cleaning. She was polite, focused and did an amazing job. I will definitely be using them again and requesting her. Side note: I stupidly locked myself out of my own house while she was there and rang the doorbell in hopes she world answer it and even called the owner to contact Michelle. This is my 1st time using this service. Have to say I was very disappointed With the quality of work Done. The company sent out 3 women to do a deep cleaning on my house .It took 1 woman 4 hours to clean the upstairs bathroom which maybe should have taken an hour to an hour and a 1/2. Another woman spent 5 hours in the master bathroom and managed to clean the tub and the toilet. Did not touch anything else in the Room .The other woman whose name was Mary did a very good job, very hard worker . I did complain to the company and they did not call me back but they replied via text. They did give me a discount on the day and had Mary come back out the next day To finish but I was charged extra for that time . When she came back she did do a lot in the 4 hours she was here but the job was still not complete ,windows were never touched the upstairs doors were never done .And the master bathroom was never completed. I hired him for a deep clean of my house but that's not what was done. I would not recommend this company to any of my friends. read more

We had a wonderful experience with Rent Me Today. We needed a deep spring cleaning. We coordinated with Jo and she was responsive, professional, and listened to our priority list. They sent Jackie and Niki. They both did a terrific job. Although Jackie said Niki is the queen of cleaning and she was right! Niki was able to effectively clean the tougher spots such as the tile shower and grout and even dusted behind our washer and dryer and scrubbed walls without us asking and in addition to the many other things she cleaned. This review is past due, I used to use Rent Me Today and had a cleaner there who did a great job. She left and every person I was sent after her just got worse and worse. Josee the owner, is great, but some of the cleaners told me she had moved down south and is having a harder time managing her cleaning services here. One of the cleaners told me that she hired her over the phone, and it was really easy to get a job with her. That didn't sit well with me, but it made all the sense in the world after seeing the quality of work the various cleaners did. I tried 3-4 cleaners after my cleaner left the company and they were all horrible. Cleaner 1 - Came in my home wreaking of cigarettes. Filled my entire bathtub with water (my tub is a two person soaking tub) and poured bleach in it to clean it, then just drained it. It was a huge waste of water and she never even scrubbed it. She wore dirty flip flops into my home and when she was doing the shower she sprayed water on the tile floors and got a huge dirty footprints all over the floor. She tried to mop up all the dirt and ended up pushing all the dirt into the grout. she spent 30 mins trying to scrub the dirt out of the grouts and to this day our floors have huge areas with dark brown grout. Cleaner 2 - Also had a heavy smell of cigarettes. She was better, said she used to own a cleaning company herself, but she left metal wires from a cleaning brush all over my home. She used comet power cleaner in the bathrooms and after she left i noticed some of the comet powder on my dark hardwood floors. Very dangerous when you have a baby and three dogs. Cleaner 3 - Very slow, and not thorough at all. She used no elbow grease and would lightly wipe the tub and toilets once over. When I pointed out to her areas where there were still dirt rings, she claimed that my toilets were just stained. I asked her to use a pumas stone, but she did not have one. The next cleaner I used from a different company was able to get out the toilet ring completely. I used to always recommend this company to friends and family, since it was so cheap and the cleaner I originally had did such a good job. But every cleaner I have had since my cleaner left has been AWFUL. It was tiresome to always end up cleaning up after their mess when they left. There is no consistency in cleaning styles, each cleaner is essentially a subcontractor and they are responsible for their own supplies (which vary from cleaner to cleaner). Seems to be a lot of turnover as most of the ladies had only been working for Josee a couple months. I gave this company many opportunities to send me a competent and reliable cleaner, but that never happened. I eventually gave up on the company and I stopped recommending them after the many bad experiences. read more

Niki is fantastic! My house was a real mess:( I was embarrassed! But Niki whipped it i to shape. She worked at full speed the entire time she was here. I kept looking at my house thinking there was no way she was going to get it done in one day because she was really deep cleaning. I was amazed! The ladies that came to clean my house were efficient, hardworking, meticulous, and thorough. The only thing I wished I could have changed was the time that they arrived. They were here from 2 pm to 8 pm and that complicated things when I wanted to serve dinner. So in the future, I will schedule for a morning appointment so they finish before dinner time. But it's been 3 days and the house still smells and looks like it was cleaned today. Great job! read more
