This was one of the worst services I've ever paid for. I normally pay $200 every two weeks for my regular cleaning service, but I chose this company because they claimed to specialize in deep post-construction cleaning. I had just remodeled my home and needed dust, wall marks, and floor debris taken care of. What I got for $730 was absolutely unacceptable: * Floors were still dusty. * Inside of cabinet drawers were untouched. * Marks on walls and light switches were ignored. * Even a ceiling mark from new lighting wasn't properly cleaned. To make matters worse, one of the workers was standing on my brand-new countertops in shoes (3 ft high) to reach my 9-ft ceiling because they didn't even bring a ladder or a pole attachment. Completely unprofessional and careless with my property. When I called, I was reasonable -- I even offered to pay $200 (close to what I pay for regular service) since some light cleaning was done. I asked for a partial refund of the difference. They refused and insisted on keeping the full $730. We've never had a cleaning service before, so we weren't totally sure what to expect. It was supposed to be a little treat for ourselves--but honestly, it went sideways fast. The cleaner said something like, "We'll clean your house, and if we miss anything, we'll just go over it with you at the end." And since we've never done this before, I thought, Cool, maybe if there's something extra, I want done or something small got overlooked, they'll take care of it. But what it really felt like was, "We're gonna do a half-done job and if you happen to catch it, we'll fix it--otherwise, oh well." There were so many things missed. Like yeah, the mirror looked spotless... until I touched the top and it was dusty. Same with the shower--looked great until you ran your finger along the top edge. But it wasn't just high-up stuff. There were bug guts on the wall, dirty handprints at eye level, and dusty baseboards. Just really basic things that shouldn't be skipped. I texted the owner, Jen, and she basically said, "Well, we offered to go over it with you but you refused." And I'm like, yeah--I was already frustrated, and your team clearly didn't know what they were doing if you're the "professional" and I have to point out your mistakes? If I have to walk around pointing out all your mistakes, I might as well have just done it myself. And if I had pointed out everything they missed, they would have been there the whole day. Attached are a few of the basic items that were overlooked. The service agreement feels like an empty promise--they listed a number of tasks that were either not done at all or done poorly. The cleaning team even told me they "spot clean only" and only address areas that look dirty to them. If something doesn't appear dirty, they don't clean it unless specifically asked. One particularly surprising example: the living room TV wasn't cleaned. When I reached out to Jen, she responded that "TV screens are not cleaned as they are sensitive electronics." That's odd, considering all the monitors and TVs upstairs were spotless. Thinking back, I'm actually noticing some issues with a few of my electronics now, so I may need to file a claim. read more

Frauds. They charged me $287 for 4 hours of cleaning. What I actually received was 3 hours of cleaning, and it wasn't even clean. They used a dirty rag on a Swiffer to "mop" the house, didn't clean the laundry room, didn't dust the ceiling fans, and overall just did a very poor job. I've hired many cleaners in my life and this company is by far the worst. When emailing with Jennifer to address the fact that I was overcharged for services I did not receive and requested a partial refund, her responses were robotic, and she did not actually respond to any of my requests or complaints. She denied my refund. Beware of this company and its unethical business practices. Will be reporting to BBB. And Watch- she's going to robotic reply this post and not substantively respond to any of the specific issues I've raised! read more

If you have a COOKIE CUTTER HOUSE & only want people to use their "SYSTEM" without even doing a proper walkthrough to see what a home needs, it might work out for you. But the owner, Jen, was a b-i-zitchy today who showed up 15 min late for a walkthrough, at a convenient time that she set. Then she claimed she didn't have much time, but she refused to reschedule. She kept rushing & interrupted me a half dozen times after I requested she wait with her questions and sales spiel until we go through the house. I asked if she wanted to reschedule or was she really just trying to say she didn't want to clean my house. She said no to the rescheduling and yes to wanting to clean the house. However it was starting to seem like she just wanted to just give me a sales spiel "we deep clean for 3 times the cost of routine..." and leave. I said I want to make best use of her time, I have no problem paying for a deep clean, but I also needed to show her the house and we could do the sales part after she sees what my home is like. We quickly went through just 2 rooms (family room and office) but she got more and more agitated & bitchy. No matter how many times I asked her to hold her sales spiel until she saw the house, she kept interrupting & saying her people are trained to follow a "system", that's it. Over and over: "we have a system we follow and that's it". She wouldn't tell me what that was. I said "your 'system' might be great, but I've had untrained or unmotivated people use products I didn't know about & damage things, so I just want to prevent issues & get on the same page". The impression I got was "we clean my way (ie "the system"), come hell or high water, no matter what house its for or what's in it - preferably nothing". I think Jen should rename her company "COOKIE CUTTER CLEANING" with the tagline "we don't give a darn who the clients are and what their homes need, we just follow our 'SYSTEM' and that's it". Maybe her business model is to only clean rectangular homes without furniture, decor or pets. btw in her defense, my gardener showed up at the same time and I had to have my dogs inside with us. They needed to settle down because one is only 8 months old and still energetic. He was 'feeding' off her energy which was *not* good - Jen was extremely anxious and agitated. Sadly, my house is not a rectangle, it has hardwood floors, furniture in it and the decor needs to be dusted. I don't think Jen's business model is to clean homes that have stuff in them. I tried to explain that previous folks had damaged things that required insurance claims which I wanted to avoid, thus the walkthrough. She said she had a fantastic guy who could repair and refurbish anything in case something gets damaged. I said 'great once we've done the walkthrough maybe you can give me his contact information. She said "well he's in Southern California and that was a long time ago" Huh? we must have been on a different time & space continuums today because Jen wouldn't do a walkthrough during the day and time she set for a house I had already described before she set the appointment. She knew before she set the appointment that I didn't live in a COOKIE CUTTER home & that I had furniture, decor and pets. What a frustrating experience. read more

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. They are worse than 1 star. What a pathetic business in the name of cleaning services. They are far from it. I hired Jennifer's team for a deep clean of our parent's home yesterday after reading reviews and wanting to do business with her for 4 years. Firstly, I don't think Jennifer or her team know what the definition of a "Deep Cleaning" means. I told her the house wasn't dirty, it's well maintained and there will be areas that need more attention. I hired them for 5-6 labor hours with 2 people, meaning the house should have been completely done in 2.5-3 hours. (I'll admit my misunderstanding here on how the hours worked, regardless, I digress). They were slow and did not do many of the basic items she has listed on your contract with them within the allotted time. Her team of two (one of which is her daughter) missed the following basic areas: 1. Kitchen Shutters 2. Master Bathroom and bedroom shutters and furniture dusting 3. Master Bathroom floor mopping 4. Baseboard areas in the kitchen 5. Wiping down dining room table, nook area table, stair ledges, mantels, and stair rail. 6. Door frames, light switches, and pictures were left dusty and dirty. When the two cleaners tried to jet out the door (which her daughter scoffed when I asked her to hang on, (yes I did hear that)), I did bring a few of those areas to their attention. In the middle of it, when I was out of view, they got into their cars without a word, looked away, and drove off when I went outside to see what was going on. I called Jennifer naturally frustrated with what was going on and told her what was going on that the job was unfinished and that her team didn't even pick up the check they were in such a rush to leave. She also said its hard work and they were tired which is why they missed so many areas. Jennifer offered to send them back to finish up the cleaning but when her daughter returned, she said she was there to get the check only, not clean. After that was cleared up, she came in and tried to wipe down the faucet again and we noticed the kitchen shutters weren't done. She said she already did them and "dust falls on them really easily." Seriously? I went inside to wipe them and show her and she walked off. I called out to her and she just left. Jennifer charged me $525 for an incomplete job or should I say ROBBED me. Maybe she was good in 2021 and earlier but I would say this cleaning company's best days are OVER! read more

Jen's team is self sufficient - I don't have to supervise them during the service. And I love the text that they send when they are on their way to my house. They are especially attentive to details like wiping all edges of pictures, mirrors, etc. and the blinds are all wiped or dusted. The bathrooms always turn out perfectly clean. They are polite, friendly, always smiling, never complaining or talking loudly, if at all. They are never an interruption to what's going on - well, can't blame them for the vacuum cleaner! We hired Prestigious Cleaning after a referral from a carpet cleaning company. Keep in mind, we regularly have our house cleaned and have for years. We have an 1800 sq/ft house that is well maintained and generally pay about $125 per regular cleaning. Because my sister is coming to stay with us and is allergic to our cats, and I am 8 months pregnant and about to have a baby shower in our home, we contacted Prestigious for a very deep cleaning, including windows. We were quoted $400 for the cleaning and $100 extra for the windows. Which I thought was astronomical but agreed thinking it would be an incredibly thorough cleaning. It was not. Be aware, the cleaners do not move a thing for dusting or vacuuming. They vacuumed around a dog bed, a vanity chair, any small or light toys, laundry basket. For dusting they didn't even so much as move a pair of scissors. There was still soap on the shower walls and tons of animal hair on the carpet and stairs. And one of the toilets was still dirty. After the cleaning was complete and I inspected it, I called the owner and sent photos of all the missed areas. She was nice and came back out and redid all the items I spotted. But even since she left, I continue to notice additional spots missed - like our kitchen island was only cleaned on top. The bottom two shelves were not even dusted. And a couple window sills were not cleaned. Overall, the cleaning was Ok, but our regular cleaners do a more thorough job monthly and charge us a quarter of the price. We should have just paid them extra to clean the windows, wipe down the kitchen cabinets, and clean the baseboards - these were the only items in addition to what we normally have done. If the cleaning had cost $200, I would not complain - other than the poor vacuuming job. But at $500, I expected a very complete and thorough cleaning. I will never use Prestigious' services again and would not recommend them to anyone. You can hire any other cleaning company and pay a third the cost, if not less, for the services provided. Definitely not a deep cleaning and not worth the high cost. read more

Booked with Prestigious to clean my house I am selling. Scheduled for a Tuesday at 11 am. She called me around 10 am said they were running late, didn't realize it was a hour drive, even though she charged me extra for the hour drive. That day they didn't show up at all, no communication! Next day she talked to my realtor said she would be out that day, Wednesday, didn't show up. She talked to my realtor said she tried to call and message me but couldn't contact me, I had no missed calls, voice mail or text messages. I have been a client of Prestigious for almost a year and I could not be happier with their service. Having my home cleaned is one of the nicest things I've ever done for myself and I love it. We got off to a bit of a bumpy start but that was my fault, not theirs. I had never had the pleasure of a cleaning service before and I didn't know what to expect. Ever since we discussed the situation, it's been smooth sailing. I was quite shocked to read some of the reviews. I thought they were extremely unfair and, frankly, they made me angry. Was the cleaning ever less than very good? Yes, once, and it was minor. I mentioned it to Jennifer and it never happened again. I like Jennifer and I trust her. She has an excellent work ethic and is easy to talk to. I've watched her train new employees and she treats them with dignity and respect. It is certainly not easy to start and run a business, particularly not in California. She is doing a commendable job. I highly recommend Prestigious Cleaning Services and without any reservation whatsoever. If you have something specific you would like done, or not done, say so. No one I know can read minds. Also, I wouldn't judge a service after just one appointment unless it was pretty bad. Not in my wildest imagination could I ever see Jennifer doing a bad job! It's just not who she is. The star was necessary to complete a review for this company. I hired Jennifer McCready, owner of Prestigious Cleaning Services, because I had purchased an item from her on Facebook Marketplace. She seemed really honest and trustworthy so I hired her to do a deep cleaning of a house I was moving into. I told her I would be out of town because two of my dearest friends died in a car crash together and their funerals were being held that weekend. At her request, I provided her with a detailed list of areas that I wanted deep cleaned. She said she would be at my home at noon. Since I was out of town, I had to hire someone to let her in and lock up when she left. For starters, the person I hired called me between 1 and 1:30 advising me that nobody had shown up. I immediately called Jennifer to see if there was a problem. She said no that she was running late because her last client and she were having a dispute. That should have been my second red flag. Upon arrival, the person I hired to let her in was in and out and noticed that each time he went into the living area, she was on the phone. That should have been my third red flag. Since I was out of town, I felt that she shouldn't have to wait for my return so I paid her the $200 I owed her on the following Wednesday. She seemed confused as to what she was supposed to clean in my house and she added via a phone conversation "I can go back in and wipe your cabinets down if you don't like them". I told her I would be unavailable to check her work until friday afternoon. When I walked in I was shocked. Nothing had been cleaned. It did not smell clean, it did not look clean and it wasn't clean. I asked her to bleach the grout in the kitchen. It was filthy. The toilets had not been scrubbed, there was something dark green all over my bathroom counter, there were dirty baseboards, dirty windows, tons of cobwebs, and she oiled the cabinets. I specifically asked her to was them down with hot water and dawn, instead she oiled them down! This means they will have to be scrubbed down because I planned to paint them. When I contacted her Friday and left a voicemail, she ignored my message. Then I messaged her on Facebook, she then blocked me. She refuses to refund my $200. I now must hire someone new to clean my house. Moving is expensive and having to pay 2 cleaning services because one did not do their job is an added expense and extremely frustrating. What an irresponsible person you are Jennifer! Shame on you for taking advantage of a person who completely trusted you to do a good job and who paid you for a cleaning job sight unseen. I give this 5 stars at this point. I am reviewing only the conversation I had with the owner of this business. I called and left a message late Friday afternoon. The owner called me back Sunday! I really wasn't expecting that. I told her that I had a ton of things that need to be done and asked about her rates. When we got through with the conversation I finally decided to have her come in. I've talked to a couple of different services and none of them made me feel secure having them in my home. Once she's been here I will show before and after pictures and complete my review.
