Sure, they are not known for top-notch quality, but for many things when the item will be used only sparingly, or for things like scissors or tape measures that really can't fail, this is the place to go. I would not recommend them for anything electronic, electric or expensive though, like generators, drills, reciprocating saws, pneumatic tools, engine cranes, etc.
In the past, I have bought things like microfiber clothes for cleaning, inexpensive12-volt battery/alternator testers, gloves, padlocks, scissors, tape measures, magnetic flashlights, wire brushes, carabiners, hitch pins, super glue, power strips, and batteries (both regular and specialty electronic types, like for key fobs or tire pressure gauges). The store has always been clean, brightly lit, well organized, and with plenty of employees on hand to help you. The one time I had a return, they even exchanged it for me without my receipt. Other times, when I had a coupon, which they always do in their emails and flyers, and it wouldn't scan from my phone, the cashier had one on hand to scan instead. So they are very customer-service oriented.
Parking has always been easy in the plaza's large parking lot, and they are on the main drag (N. Carson St.), so access is easy. They also expanded their hours a few years ago, to 8 PM Monday-Saturday (and to 6 PM Sundays), when they used to close at 6 PM I think.
