Dan is a pleasure to work with and the crew is always friendly, professional, on time, on budget, and clean. We've done everything from restoring interior wooden beams, painting, dry walling, completely redoing our exterior, ripping and replacing our old redwood decks with indestructible Trex, and installing interior and exterior aluminum with steel cable railing systems. We were able to choose a cabinet and countertop pretty quickly. The orders were all as expected. The cabinetmaker's work is good, and it was easy for our woodworker to install the cabinets. Our stone countertops look beautiful, and they are cut really nicely. As far as craftsmanship and timeliness, everything was expected. Brock was very quick to respond to me about my questions. I had a lot of questions. I'm not trying to discount the frustrations in these reviews. They are also real to some extent. Remodels and building can be extremely stressful, requiring decisions and money (lots of money sometimes). I won't lie if I say I haven't been tempted to give vendors bad reviews because of timeliness and lack of response. The key for me was to really try and reach out and ask questions and get answers that helped me. That didn't mean they'd be faster or cheaper. It just meant I knew what was going on. Now that I have a little distance from this phase of our project, I can say that I am happy with the work and the options that Mountain Modern gave us. They did the work that we paid for, and they did it well.

We decided to replace our kitchen and bathroom counters with stone. We selected AJ Marble & Granite…read moreand met with Andrea at his showroom. The selection was extensive. The slabs were set on their sides making viewing easier. Andrea answered questions such as pros and cons of various kinds of stone, price per slab and how long a job should typically take. We selected a granite, styled as " leather", with an off white background showing many other trace colores and inclusions. Once that selection was made, Andrea arranged for a site visit resulting in complete plans used to cut the stone. Andrea's installer, Lorenzo, began removing the old counters, plumbing and installing plywood to support the added weight. He then began installing all the stone. He also installed all the sinks, faucets as well as electrical and plumbing hookups. This all was a big job and done with remarkable craftsmanship and care. The result is stunning! So much so that the drawers and cabinets doors looked sad in comparison. We worked with Lorenzo to design a solution, and what he came up with was spectacular. Lorenzo is amazing! Bottom line is that Andrea and Lorenzo make a great team. We are most pleased with the result!
