If I could give Angela more than five stars, I absolutely would. We had a very large and complicated project with eight bathrooms, and I honestly don't know how we would have gotten through it without her. Angela is an incredibly talented designer with an amazing eye for detail. When the polished version of the tile we wanted wasn't available through the Reno store, she went above and beyond by coordinating with the Salt Lake distribution center to have it shipped directly to our home. She even worked to offset the shipping cost by reducing the price of the material, which was incredibly appreciated. Throughout the entire project, Angela helped us coordinate tile selections, grout colors, caulking, Schluter trim, and all of the countless design details that can easily become overwhelming. She was conscientious, responsive, proactive, and always followed through on everything she said she would do. What impressed me most was her level of customer service. At one point, while traveling through California on a weekend, she personally picked up the Schluter trim we needed from another Floor & Decor store and brought it back to the Reno store so it would be available for our project. She routinely answered my calls and texts on her personal cell phone, even outside of normal business hours, simply because she genuinely cared about making sure our project was successful. That level of dedication is almost impossible to find today. Building a home is one of the most stressful things I've ever done, but having Angela on our team made an enormous difference. Over the course of this project, she became much more than our designer--I truly consider her a friend. I can honestly say I could not have completed this project without her. If you're planning a remodel or building a home, do yourself a favor and find Angela at Floor & Decor in Reno before you make any tile decisions. She is knowledgeable, talented, caring, and one of the best customer service professionals I've ever had the pleasure of working with. Thank you, Angela, for everything you did for us! read more

Recently had hardwood flooring installed by Northern Nevada Flooring company, and while I was initially excited about the project, my overall experience has been very disappointing. The biggest issue was not necessarily the flooring itself, but the lack of customer service and accountability after concerns were raised. When I contacted the company to discuss issues with the installation, I felt that my concerns were dismissed rather than addressed. Instead of working with me to find a reasonable solution, I was repeatedly told how difficult it would be to correct the problem. As a customer who invested a significant amount of money into this project, I expected a willingness to stand behind the work and provide constructive solutions. Good customer service means listening to customers, acknowledging concerns, and making a genuine effort to resolve issues. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. The communication left me feeling frustrated, undervalued, and disappointed. I chose this company based on the expectation of quality workmanship and professional service. Sadly, the response I received after the installation did not meet those expectations. I hope the company takes customer concerns more seriously in the future and improves its commitment to customer satisfaction. read more

I recently renovated my bathroom, which required several trips to Floor & Decor. Each time I visited, I was greeted by the friendly employees and provided with unparalleled customer service. While all of the employees made themselves available and were always happy to help, both Dominique and Clara went out of their way to provide exceptional customer service. Floor & Decor has an unparalleled selection of tiles and flooring. Having to decide what to put in my bathroom was tough! I was surprised that Floor & Decor takes back any unused boxes of flooring and tiling as long as it is a full box. We had several leftover boxes and it was nice to be able to return them. read more

Dear Marie, Thank you for your email and for all the assistance you provided during our flooring purchase. Your professionalism, patience, and genuine willingness to help made our experience exceptional from start to finish. You took the time to answer our questions, guide us through our options, and ensure we felt confident in our purchase. The level of customer service you provided stood out and made a lasting impression on our family. I especially appreciated how welcoming and helpful you were to my daughter when she stopped by as well. It is clear that you care deeply about your customers and take pride in providing excellent service. In fact, your customer service far exceeded that of the manager who was on duty that day. Your leadership, attention to detail, and commitment to customer satisfaction demonstrated the qualities I would expect from a manager. Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend that you be considered for a management position. Thank you again for making our experience such a positive one. We look forward to working with you again in the future and will gladly recommend you to friends family. read more

Marie, the designer at Floor and Decor is GREAT! I had picked out glass tile - four different colors for one wall and was struggling with what to put on the other walls. Marie walked over to help and picked a tile - bam - done! I couldn't believe it - the first one she picked out and my husband and I were in complete agreement with her! I won't lie, I was panicking and she helped enormously! She kept me calm and made the whole thing fun! She's obviously talented and enjoys her job! Thanks Marie! read more

The person they use to install their flooring is subpar at best and a complete liar. Floor & Decor also got our orders from HIM incorrect, so we had to make multiple trips. Putting down an entire house of flooring is expensive and they need a new person to recommend as the installer. Shame on you. read more

A huge plus that this place opens on Sundays. I was looking for flooring options and it was so much more. The store associate was very pleasant and offered her assistance immediately when entering the store. This was important to me since I don't know a lot about flooring and needed guidance. The associate was very knowledgeable even though she has only been with the store less than one year. She was very patient and answered all my questions. The store had a huge selection of flooring options and the displays were large so you can get an idea of how it would look in your house. There was pricing at all price points from value to higher-end. This place also has countertops and there was a contractor onsite that was very helpful. Coming here is a one-stop shop and it saves so much time having to run around to different places. read more

I love Floor and Decor. They have very reasonable prices and the supplies are very creative and have quality - unlike a bargain brand store. When I walk through I am so inspired by the displays and inventory. Once I could not make up my mind which tile I liked. so I laided them all right on the floor in the store. I decided to use them all and made my own mosaic pattern. (see photo) I once bought 2 sets of tile with no where to put it! I did use one set as Back Splash in a funky kitchenette, 3 years after buying them - "sliced rocks" 12x12"web (not easy to grout- See Photo - sink not yet grouted) The 2nd set was Classic White Subway Tile. I have a target for it's use, I hope I bought enough - ha read more

Check all tiles cases before you walk out the store door, they must sell seconds because more than half of my tiles had inconsistent patterns to what I thought I was actually buying. Looked like kids painted the patterns on it. Also had black imbedded carbon looking marks on it as well. And a low intelligent tile setter guy install it in my primary shower, not telling me it had inconsistency. Buyer beware! read more

We've been converting carpeted rooms to tiled floor little by little. This is a good place for tile shopping. Selection is great, and the store is well organized. Some good sample installations in the front area to give you some ideas. Just bought a second set of tiles and grout. All of their staff is very helpful and nice. Another good thing is that unused tiles are returnable granted that they are not damaged. Definitely check the fine prints but it's so convenient. Only wish they had more eclectic style, like southwestern Talavera tiles... because of the recent popular look, everything is gray/white... I wanted some warmer colors, but they are not easy to find. read more

Very few tile & stone stores have a return policy that is on a par with Floor & Decor. If you purchase too much, samples or something you don't need just take it back and get a full refund, no questions asked! We tiled a bathroom and put new countertop's in the kitchen & bath. The fabricator/installer is Stone Tile Evolution, LLC out of Sacramento (the same company Lowes & Home Depot use). They made a big mistake by starting to drill the wrong side of the vanity countertop but they returned a week later with a brand new one. read more

I would like to update my last review. I hope you guys value Ashley as one of the most helpful and well-versed in Floor&Decor product lines. She's definitely one of the most knowledgeable people in the store. I came in and asked 4 separate employees for a piece of quartz or similar material that I could cut and polish and use as a shelf in my shower niche. (I was sitting here by my tile installer specifically for this material) I was told by everybody that they didn't have that, nor anything similar. After speaking to my tile guy for a second time and him, insisting that you DO carry it..... I decided in despair to try one last person. Ashley she thought for a moment, and then told me, I could probably use a piece of engineered stone (basically quartz) and cutting polish it to use as a shelf. 10 out of 5 stars. If you plan to come into Floor&Decor seek out Ashley she works in the design center and is amazing. read more

Overall a great experience shopping here. They have a HUGE selection of tile and flooring and great prices! Some of their items are priced lower than the other hardware stores. They have displays of almost every tile they have available and displays of grout colors to help with the decision process. We were shopping for marble tiles, which naturally have lots of variation. The sales associate was so helpful in finding us pieces of tile that matched what we were looking for. She was so knowledgeable and helpful in our decision making process! I came into Floor & Decor on a friend's recommendation after spending lots of time at Home Depot & Lowes. When I first walked into the door, I was so happy to see large displays eye level instead of 20 feet up in the air like HD & Lowes. After finding a few tiles, I liked I brought them home & then made an appointment with Michael Stipech to help me get the right amount & all the materials I would need. Michael was amazing!! He helped me get the tile & made sure I had everything I needed to redo my shower. He was supposed to get off at a certain time & I was stressing about not getting it all taken care of before he had to leave. He stayed late & helped me load everything up in my truck. Floor & Decor - Thinksmate. Rick is Gr8 - Home Decor Near Me - Reno, Nevada

My first experience at F&D was definitely the honeymoon phase. I was blinded by the bliss of finding everything under one roof at amazing prices other stores couldn't touch, so we ordered everything we thought we needed for our home remodel, and thanks to the warehouse storage option, they held onto it all until we were ready. We hemmed and hawed on various elements of our design choice, and their sample policy (buy it and bring it back) made checking out various options real simple. We ended up moving forward with the AquaGuard laminate flooring, the most expensive laminate in the store, and returning the travertine (which thus far I have not seen credited back to me). By examining samples at different price points and handling various materials, it quickly became apparent that these great prices come at a serious cost in the quality department. Affordable Travertine, $2-$4/sq foot, which is naturally variable in color, was on the extreme end of the variability scale and contained a lot of filler. The budget travertine was made up of mostly filler. In order to get quality and moderate consistency you had to step up to the premium stone at $6-$7+/ square foot, which is no different than buying from one of our awesome locally owned tile stores. The real kicker was the AquaGuard laminate, which we attempted to install. We watched the video, which made it look simple, but as we went through the process, the locking tabs that connect each piece literally DELAMINATED, shearing off cleanly, creating excessive waste and demonstrating the low quality of this product. We couldn't even get a single row down without this issue. While other laminates use an mdf material to create their foundation, this was some type of papery composite, and looking at some of the sample pieces we even noticed chunks missing just from being moved in and out of a car. Bottom line, it's all going back, and beyond a place to gather a few ideas and maybe picking up underlayment, baseboard etc, I really can't recommend this store. Solid customer service can only take a company so far, and that's why I left this at three stars. There are pros to their return policy as well, and if you're on an extreme budget, you can find products that will get the job done. F&D is a store for some folks, but as someone looking to seriously upgrade my home, I can't really recommend it. The honeymoon is over and I think we're getting a divorce. Luckily my marriage is still in great shape! read more

From the time I walked in your overwhelmed by the materialistic items in the warehouse and being greeted by a CSR (Customer service Representative) whom were interested in helping in everyway possible, the only problem! I haven't had a chance to look yet, but I respectfully said thank you but I'll be sure to come by an get you if I have any questions. So after browsing at their selections my wife and I just happen to pass over near some waterproofing floors and fell in love with the color and style but most of all it was about $1 cheaper then what we were looking at elsewhere so after talking about for about less then a min about where we should get the flooring we made our mind up and decided to go with F&D so went to go to customer service to purchase our new flooring. The process was extremely easy and the best part is F&D will give you 2 weeks to pick it up. That's awesome! I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to remodel their home. read more
