I would avoid this company like the plague unless you want to waste your money on people with little customer service as a priority and a company that will charge you for every email and still not deliver a final product! They give designers a bad name!!! I wish I had read Catherine's review before engaging as I'd agree with her over budget and under delivered. Holly didn't do any due diligence with measurements! No actual advise or direction on space saving ideas! Really a waste of over $4000 o could have and did most of that work myself! Their taste is old and antiquated! No creativity at all! FACTS: 1. Project started mid-December - it's now almost April and I still don't have a final 'folder' they advised I would get. 2. The owner agreed the work Holly provided as 'final' was not acceptable and stepped in to fix the issue. Yes I got plans with measurements eventually, but 3-weeks after she took over I still don't have a final spec sheet. 3. The owner kept going back to Holly to ask questions, Holly clearly couldn't remember a thing from our meetings and made stuff up so what Sarah the owner was getting was basically made up stuff and nothing that seemed even close to the conversations are agreements we had made. 4. It's also interesting how the owner has so much time to respond to these reviews vs actually finishing the project. 5. If anyone is interested in seeing what I first got from them, what Sarah sent which was better and the spec sheet that was not correct. Let me know I'm happy to share all this. It's nowhere close to what they advertise on Instagram and what they showed me I would get to 'hand over to the contractor'.

Alpine electric was selected by our contractor for all electrical in our home and security. It has…read morebeen a nightmare working with Alpine Electric for over 2 years. Their contracts are just a couple of sentences and any discussion of either what was on the electrical plan or what we wanted to add cost us significantly more. They forgot to put in a light in a dark hallway and to 'fix it' they want another $400. Even though, in theory, the contract should have been covered, they interpret everything and turn it into a debate. We asked for a more detailed contract and they refused. Now we know why. For the last month we have been having our fire alarm go off four different times from midnight to 3:00 or 4:00 a.m. with an inability to turn it off. They are unreachable when it happens because it's not during normal work hours and the monitoring service that we pay for only has an answering machine number for Alpine Electric. They have been out every Monday after each of these horrific incidences and each time they have said it is completely fixed. Guaranteed it won't happen again. Today, it is going off every hour almost on the hour. Again this morning they said it's fixed. They leave and right on schedule, it goes off again. Our neighbors are rightfully angry. Our guests have not gotten sleep. We have some friends who will not come back for a visit. We call them after it's gone off every hour for the last 4 hours and they have said they are now out of town and won't be able to do anything until Monday. We need to deal with it now. In addition, our lights did not work correctly for the first month after we moved in. Had to turn some lights off at the fuse box. For the Control 4 'scenes' we don't have access to do simple things like dimming the lights when you turn them on. They also installed our doorbell ring which didn't actually ring for a good 3 months. Now it rings with both of our phones going off every time someone's at the door and we don't have simple access to the app to stop that. It also does not store videos of the front door which is frustrating when we have issues. I wish we could say zero Stars.

Approximately 1 week later I called asking for an estimated shipping date. I was then told the order had not yet been placed with the furniture manufacturing company and they would be unable to do so until the owner got back from vacation, they were not sure when that would be. I asked if I could cancel my order and get a refund and they apologized and said they would reach out to the owner. The following day I received a short e-mail stating my order was placed and shipping information would be sent ASAP (I never received shipping information). Two days ago I received a text message that the chairs were ready to be picked up, I responded I would be by after I got off work to pick them up and got no reply back. I went by the store first thing on Saturday and waited in front of the business 45min past the posted opening hours of 10am, no one showed up. There was no sign regarding closures or inability to open and, of course, no answer on the telephone. I placed my order 28 days ago and I very much regret it. Too expensive for this poor of customer service. I have no comment on the quality of furniture because I have not seen the chairs.

We made the mistake of paying a large up front deposit after receiving a proposal for interior design work for our home. On two separate occasions during our project, our main designers and points of contact resigned from Carid's company. We were never notified in either case. Weeks would pass without any response to our many emails, phone calls, and text messages to Carid and others at the company. When he finally did respond, the service did not improve. We finally decided to end the relationship even though he had not finish the work. We requested a refund of almost $3,000 which was our deposit paid for furniture and other items that he never delivered. Despite Carid agreeing to refund and close out our account, he never did. He even sent us a picture of a check in the amount that was payable to us and said he would have his bookkeeper mail it to us. It was later that we realized the check was dated 4/1/18 (April Fool's Day). We since won a full judgment against him in Small Claims Court, but months later he still refused to actually repay what he owes us. We are having to pursue collection options. There is much more to this story, but I think you can understand that I would highly recommend that you find another designer.
