My parents who are both in their 80s hired this company to replace their dated countertops and backsplash with new quartz and it turned out beautifully. Here is where it gets UGLY. The dishwasher was never secured to the under side of the new counter so it was loose and would tip forward when the door was opened falling out of the hole. It is dangerous for my parents or anyone when a heavy appliance is not secured. They sent their sub-contractor - read THEIR subcontractor "Michael" to fix it and it immediately came loose again. Pic below - because it was not secured with the screw correctly. My Mom has called on three occasions and even visited the store to ask the owner to send someone again to secure it. Nathan has "blamed" the subcontractor passing the issue "I have called him and texted him" and months later it STILL not been addressed. Poor poor poor way to treat a couple in their 80s - once Nathan had their money, I guess they had no value to him. read more

I do not recommend ordering Carpet from this business. They did not keep their install date and did not order the carpet when they said they did. They couldn't be bothered to refund my debit card as their credit card refund fees are "killing them". I had to physically show up to pick up a check. The customer service is non existent. read more

They were first to upgrade everything, said 3-5 days delivery took 3 weeks. The floor sample did not match what we picked. They took the material back, but have to take them to court for a refund. Stay away their customer service is bottom of the barrel and their prices are very high. Save your money and stress and go with someone else. read more

I am calling this a three star, still, due to the fact that the lost order, poor communications and resultant wasting of our contractor's time were overshadowed only by my wife's angst from trying to correct the situation. We had such a great experience with Mitch and Tile Outlet - Carson City. We were trying to renovate our kitchen in our Tahoe cabin from afar, and were overwhelmed about needing not just a tile installer, but a plumber, electrician, carpenter, and tile installer. Mitch was able to coordinate the whole project and within the budget we were striving for. He went out to the site right away and took measurements, and provided a few quotes and offered suggestions to help us get what we wanted. It looks great and they were a pleasure to work with. We are building a new home and decided to buy our granite and tile at Tile Outlet. I also used them to install my granite. The granite installation was exquisite. Not only do they do professional work but they are wonderful in customer service. I changed my mind on the granite midstream (I do not recommend doing this, of course) and they bent over backwards to make sure I was happy with my product. I call them all the time and even though they may shutter when they hear my name, you would never know it. They treat me like I am their only customer. We found and ordered a tile were told that they personaly pick the tile up in Reno and it would be in the following Friday. Two Fridays later I called and they said my tile was in we could come pick it up. Went in but the tile was no were to be found. They then told us it was delivered to the wrong person in Incline and the next morning they would personally go pick it up and bring it to the Carson City store. That never happened said that it was in Incline but they did not know where but they would track it down and call us of course no call so I called them still did not know where it was. They said they could not reorder the tie because they would loose money on the shipping. I thought when a company messed up they would just eat the shipping but not these guys. Come on ordering tile and keeping it straight is not brain surgery. To make a long story short we ordered the tile from D&L tile in Reno and saved 10% and got the tile in 6 days. read more

Long story, but RC Willey lost our tile order for some Emser tile. We had installers on site, and needed tile ASAP for our master bath job. I called up Tile Outlet, who is also a dealer for Emser. I spoke with John, who happened to be going to the Emser warehouse in Reno and he agreed to meet us there, select some tile, and write up the sale. He even transported the tile back to Carson and loaded it directly in my truck. Bang! Problem solved! Wish we had gone with these guys to begin with. read more

Ordered and paid for a countertop during a bathroom remodel. They needed to do measurements for fabrication. First scheduled appt they were a no show, second time called and said they would be over in the afternoon and never showed, third time I actually had to take a day off work and again no show. In the end just had them refund my money and went a different direction. I don't even know where to start. I have a large kitchen and a set budget on granite. After shopping around I could only get within 6-7 hundred over budget. I went to tile outlet and spoke with Mitch. I explained I needed my kitchen done for a set price. Without hesitation, he said pick a granite, go get me cash and you got a deal. So I did, I mean it's a business right? Not some guy on a street corner. Just like the other reviews I had the same problems, no shows, couldn't get ahold of Mitch, granite didn't show up, call after call, no call back from Mitch. Finally my husband went in and we had some granite installers show up the next week. They were pissed that they had to do my kitchen for that price. So they said I only had 1 day, and they stayed until midnight. Ok so it's done! Thankgod- until 3 weeks later my seams popped and now I have chipping uneven counter tops. Looks real nice!!! I have to explain the shit job to every person that comes to my house. So I called tile outlet and spoke with 4 different people over the course of 4 months who all said Mitch was getting my messages. Finally I get a call from Mitch! (omg is it really happening!!!) Who said with attitude.....You wanted a bro deal, we did it off the books for cash and that's what you got! I was shocked. I had never met Mitch before in my life and he is definitely no bro of mine. Buyer beware, it's so worth spending a few hundred extra to get a quality job done. And as the saying goes, you get what you pay for. I now have a different granite guy coming to fix it, I honestly don't know how people like this stay in business! read more

I placed a special order for additional tile that I had previously bought from them to complete my flooring project and was told it would take a week. When the tile arrived it was the wrong color and the manager said he would have the right tile sent special delivery. The tile didn't arrive until 4 days later. When I complained that his mistake had cost me money because my contractor couldn't work the manager's attitude was too bad and if I didn't like it I could ask for a refund. Even the big box stores in town go out of their way to make things right when they mess up but not these guys. Poor customer service and a worst attitude. read more
