This is one of the locations that has a pop-up VIP Petcare community clinic which is a cost effective option to get vaccinations for your pets. We arrived early and looked around the store which was well organized with friendly staff and seemed to have just about everything you would want for the outdoor, your pet and even tires and car batteries. Our fur baby found his way to the pet treats and paw-picked the one he wanted. He was going to get shots so the treats are well deserved. No appointments needed for the pop-up clinic. Once we checked-in, we were finished in less than 10 minutes. read more

I came, I wandered, I pretended I was gonna marry a cowboy - coz there were quite a few here on an early weekend morning! Complete with cowboy hats, dirty jeans and busted up cowboy boots. I think I was looking for dog food - the staff there were very helpful, not allowing me to carry anything heavy. That was nice. After paying Tractor Supply to stock their store with an extra large chicken coop, it arrived extremely damaged. Despite this, they called me to pick it up and the manager of the store tried to load it into my vehicle before I stopped him and asked him to check for damage. I declined the purchase and asked for a refund, now I have been waiting 5 days for the refund to show up. I have gone back to the store twice to ask about my refund, was told it should take no more than 72 hours by the first manager and today by the second manager was told it was my bankś fault. I will never ever EVER shop at your store again. Terrible service all the way around. read more

Nice stuff in this store and for the items I looked at, it seemed the prices were very fair. I also happened across some Carhartt which I really like. Only issue is I needed help from staff and while they were friendly they seemed too busy to help so I left without purchasing largely because I needed hands on help with some items I'd never bought before. Just went to the store to buy a propane tank for my camper. Waited 40 minutes for someone to come fill it. Nobody showed, even went back into the store after 20 minutes and heard them call again. I ended up seeing the employees walking around the outside without a worry in the world. That is the last time I will go. I don't give many second chances on something so simple. read more

I'm the director of the Carson Tahoe SPCA in Carson City. I decided to try the online ordering and pick up for th first time. What a fantastic experience. We feed lots of cats and I needed to purchase almost 200 pounds of food. When I arrived at the store my order was there and waiting! The manager Leonard was eager to take to my van and load the food which I so appreciated. He introduced himself, gave me his card and asked for mine. He explained they make donations from time to time and asked if we'd be interested in being on their list as a recipient . Absolutely we would I told him. He also mentioned they support adoptions and would love for us to get in touch if we'd like to set up an event. Leonard was so warm and welcoming. Poor customer service every time I go. I've been there at least 12 times in the last 4 months. My chicks were all misidentified and I don't mean gender, they were the wrong breeds. I was sent home with multiple sick chicks, one even died the first night I had it home. Yes, I probably should have looked closer at what they were putting in the box. But, that's not really my job. I also literally always feel like an inconvenience when I have to talk to the staff. I am a super laid back person and definitely not a complainer. I rarely ask for help. So, I waited to see if the customer service would improve. You know, everybody has a bad day now and again. Unfortunately, that hasn't been the case for this particular staff. It is every time I go. I actually used to love going to TSC, now I definitely try to avoid it. I try to do most of shopping at Foothill Feed. Wonderful customer service there. read more

I've been here a couple times and to be honest I have never received any help in the store or someone offering to help me out to my car after purchasing a 40 lb bag of dog food with 4 kids at my knees. I also purchased the Nutrena Large puppy food once in Dec and again in February just about 3 days ago. My dog will not even touch this second bag, I called the store to see what we could do, really just wanted to exchange it, but they told me they can't do anything with a open bag and to donate it. Basically I'm SOL and just wasted $50 on dog food. Not the customer service I would say deserves a 5 star. I don't know if I will be taking my business here any longer. Sorry not sorry. read more

The employees are always friendly here good customer service people are always trying to help me or show me the product. I buy all my cat and dog food here in bulk including cat littler and why? Because its affordable! If you buy food for your pets at a grocery story it will cost more and you will get less. I also bought my chicken feed here which is very convenient. I take my dogs here to get vaccinated each year too. A few months ago I bought a really nice chicken coop and trailer to haul an ATV on. Both were on sale were talking half off and that you wont be able to beat anywhere. I love going here that have so much great supplies, tools, trailer hitches, pet supplies etc. It is like a mans dream come true and every time I walk in this place I come out smiling. I highly recommend going to this store and the staff is always awesome! Great place for ranching, farming and outdoor supplies! Everyone here is happy and with that in mind it makes for a great atmosphere to be around while shopping around. read more
