    11/5/24 FYI, cool
    Lee D.

Quality/Quantity - We were here for Home Depot, so we decided to do a quick run in to see if they had my brush here since your other Carson City location did not have it in stock. This must be a high thief location, especially compared to your other Carson City location. Needed a $4 brush and they had plenty in stock because they were locked up. Atmosphere - See above. Cool CrunCheese restaurant. I look forward to trying it next time I'm here. See pictures. Was this recently opened...? Congrats. Service - Do not expect much. Got the less than happy employee to open the case. Then he walked away... I asked him if I should close the case back?? Other services: Pick up, delivery, etc. Price - $4 for one locked up brush. Low price leader. Owner Comment - Congrats on all your success since 1969, as the world's largest company by revenue (2022), $648+ billion sales (2024); 50+ stores in Nevada and 309+ stores in California (2022). 1962 Walmart Discount City. 1969 Walmart Inc. 1970 Walmart Stores Inc.

Exceptional Follow-Up Service from Lead Rachel I truly value the added convenience of shopping online and simply driving down to pick up everything--neatly bagged and ready to go. Rachel's outstanding follow-up and attention to detail consistently elevate the experience. Area for Improvement One recurring issue involves item substitutions. Often, products are replaced with similar alternatives even when the original item is clearly in stock. I tend to double-check because certain items are favorites. For instance, we love Cherry-flavored Bubly, and as shown in the photo, there was plenty available--yet it was still substituted unnecessarily. THANKYOU, THANKYOU, THANKYOU!

This Walmart store has really gone downhill the employees don't wan't help you when ask questions about some of their items in the toy department And they don't have stuff stocked up in the store at all the and Halloween decorations are not like they used to be. They used to have awesome stuff now it just looks like a cheap Halloween decorations and then we went to go and check out and we wanted our pizzas and our frozen items in a bag and the lady tells me that they don't fit in a bag and she kind of got rude about it And I put them in a bag and guess what they all fit. You could put three in a bag. she did not want to do her job.

7/15/2023 On our way out of town and wanted to stop in. Nice and clean.. Not very busy.. (probably the heat).. I'd stop by anytime I need something..

    Overcooked, old dry chicken strips

Just bought chicken tenders from the deli, they were so hard and old that I had to throw them away, soooo disappointed. Shame on you Wal-Mart!

Only 3 lanes open at 6 pm on a Monday. The store was extremely busy but incredibly understaffed.

Paid extra to get an order delivered by a certain time. It was delayed my 2 hours! I shouldn't have to pay for the delivery charge !!

It's absolutely what I'd call a one stop shop but I did notice that a lot of their smaller sizes, at least within the women's items, were not in stock. Mind you I did go right after Christmas so possibly that's the reason but I did end up getting a phenomenal cow print faux fur jacket that stretches from shoulders to toes and my friend also got one too. It was listed at a fantastic sale price and there was no question once I found out it was discounted that we both HAD to have it-- and now that it's home with me, I absolutely don't regret it and cannot wait to wear it! While there, I was also looking at a really great distressed cowboy hat, but my friend decided she had to have it as well so as there was only one left, it was absolutely going to be for her!! :)

They sell them in bags of 8 now, instead of requiring you like before to buy two bags of six for a dozen bagels. The new price is basically $5.00 for 8, so I guess the price per bagel has gone up, but what hasn't. HERE IS THE BIG NEWS! THE BAGELS ARE NOW WATER BOILED! I saw the big sign on the wall, "water boiled". What that means is they're more like real bagels like you would find in an actual bagel shop, a more dense and chewy bagel, yeah like New York, I guess, even though I've never been. The previous bagels were basically fluffy beard donuts! Costco ended their association with Einstein's bagels (the bread donut ones) and now makes their own using water boiling before baking at each store. I tried them and, whoa, what a difference, it way better. Maybe not totally as good as an actual bagel shop, but way better than what they had before. I used to avoid Costco bagels, but not any more. Try them out!

I have an executive membership that can get us in at 9am and the food court is all ready to go at that time. Hot dogs for the road with a soda too even! They all go hell, yeah! So we pull in and it's just before opening at 9 am. Plenty of parking, not like those big city Costco's at opening. We go in and I have my membership card scanned and head straight to the food court. I go up to the little kiosk thingy and tap in 5 hot dogs and sodas ... $7.50 the feed the whole crew! plus a little tax of course. The staff whips those out in no time and we fill our sodas. I like they switched back to coke products, I like them better than Pepsi products. Over at the condiments, we all squeeze out the mustard, relish and catsup on our dogs and sit at the open tables. These are a little messy to eat, so better make a mess at tables, than inside the Suburban! This was a nice tasty treat in the morning to keep everybody happy till we get to Sacramento. This is a really nice not crowded Costco!

Within a minute of walking in, Charles greeted us and offered assistance without us even asking--which is definitely rare these days. I explained what we were looking for and a few specific requirements. As he walked us through the options, I mentioned that we needed a wide fit. He was honest and let us know they didn't carry traditional wide sizes, but then took the time to show us ECCO shoes with dual-fit insoles as an alternative. It is located right past Bodines Casino and Fuji Park, just past the Carson City limit on US Route 395 going south. It is technically in Douglas County, but has a Carson City postal address, as it is served by that post office. It has one entrance on Warehouse Way (off of US Route 395,) two entrances on Topsy Lane, and a back entrance on Vista Grande Boulevard (by Costco). It is also right next to Carson Valley Plaza to the south, on Topsy Lane. I love this plaza, as it has many useful stores and not filled with "riffraff' like the other Walmart plaza is in north Carson City on Retail Drive. The Walmart is open 24/7 and is a Supercenter with a Tire & Lube Express and Garden Center. There is also a Trader Joe's, which I frequent often. I used to go to King Buffet there (a Chinese restaurant), but now not really. Store here include: Absolute Dental BlueZone Bikes BlueZone Sports Carson City Orthodontics Carson Nails Chili's Grill & Bar chiropractor's office?? Clear Creek Dental Cost Cutters [hair] Del Taco Dollar Loan Center El Dorado Savings Bank Eagle Vision Goodwill Donation Xpress H&R Block Jackson Hewitt Tax Service (inside Walmart) Jiffy Lube King Buffet Little Caesar's Express (inside Walmart) Nathan's Famous (inside Walmart) National Vision Center/Walmart Vision & Glasses (inside Walmart) RAC Rent-A-Center SmartStyle Hair Salon (inside Walmart) Sprint Subway T-Mobile The Clinic at Walmart (inside Walmart) Trader Joe's Walmart (Supercenter) There also was a Five Guys here, but they just closed on or around February 28, sadly. This shopping center also allows unlimited RV camping. I have seen RV's and vans and even cars camping there for weeks on end, even fifth wheels and travel trailers left there unhooked. Will I see truck slide-in campers left there sans truck?? [Note: overnight camping is not allowed at the other Walmart in north Carson City on Retail Lane.] There is plenty of parking space for all stores, and the plaza seems to be well maintained and clean. You can get around any traffic by using the back entrance and taking Vista Grande Boulevard. I use this way a lot, especially since I go to the Costco near there a lot. But, as this is Carson City, there is not too much traffic. My only complaint is, if you use the back entrance of Vista Grande Boulevard, behind Walmart, and go north around Walmart past the loading dock, the lane is really narrow and you cannot see cars coming the other way, especially since there are cardboard recycling loads and a building pole there. So you have to be very careful. It is also not well lit there.
