Very solid prices and great selection here at Aloha liquor…read more I stop by Aloha every once in awhile when I am looking for something unique or special to meet my indulgent needs. The beer selection here is massive and I can often browse for quite some time! There have been many visits to Aloha where I have my hands too full and have to put a few items back! Everything just looks that good! If I had to ask for one thing it would be more single serve options like build your own 6 pack or small cans/boxes of wine. Always nice to grab when you're hitting the park or beach. This is a great spot to pick up something special. Lots of great choices to browse and you won't leave her disappointed!

The owner Pat was incredibly helpful and quickly found the bourbon I was originally looking for, along with suggesting a different whiskey distilled in Nevada that I bought several bottles of. I want to update this review, this store is honestly 9/10 on everything including pricing…read more Previously I was upset because I kept buying a particular disposable vape product, and found that when I got home the product in the box was a "lesser" version of what I had payed money for. This happened however only a small handful of times, but prompted me to leave a nasty review in response. I would like to update this now however. If I'm being honest the issue with the vape was the only one I had. Even though this happened a few times within a short period of time (probably within about 6 months time period), I am reflecting now on my overall service, and the kindness that the owners I met a few times showed to me. In retrospect, this place deserves at least 4 to 4.5 stars. I also need to admit that I should have taken the product out of the box before leaving the store. If I had done this, I feel like my bad review could have been avoided entirely. You live and learn I guess, but please give this store a chance. They have amazing pricing versus the chevron across the street, and the owners are honestly really down to earth people- full of kindness the few times I was able to meet them here.

Nice store, very convenient & centrally located in Reno…read more Great online ordering system whereby the store picks & packs your order (overnight it would appear) and free of charge. Total time saver. I ended up ordering nearly $100 of non-alcoholic beer, as I'm a teetotaler now (per medical/health). Drove in from CA, as I frequent the area often on both business & pleasure (formerly a Reno resident). My order was ready by 8am. Bang! Another big advantage over CA purchasing is no tax, CRV or packaging fees on the order. Score! Great, competitive prices over most grocers and other liquor warehouses. No brainer coming here.

Buyer beware- I may have just purchased a tampered or forged bottle from this retailer…read more I purchased a boxed bottle of Armagnac as a present for my mom. When I checked it out, the cashier quickly removed it from the box and then put it back in. I figured this was a standard procedure. When I got to my mom's five minutes later, we opened it and saw that there was a slit around part of the capsule. It was done so that the top of the capsule could hinge up, and the cork stopper could be removed, and everything could be pressed down and look "normal." We took it back immediately, within fifteen minutes of purchase. The cashier- an older man with a gray beard and strong attitude- accused us of making the slit ourselves and insisted he had shown me the bottle before purchase. While he had taken it in and out of the box, he did not demonstrate to me that the capsule was not tampered with. I'm not sure if the store purchased this from a wholesaler who is selling them forged goods, or whether this is happening in store, or they accepted a returned and tampered bottle. But they refused to exchange it for us, and were aggressive and rude. We have been loyal customers for years, and do not plan to return again.
