Where the most minis are
Dee M.

Mini Mecca! Walked in and saw a last chance rack, picked up a blue corn mini. Then I spied the word "minis" and wow, what a fun selection. My sparkling water is in for a treat. I picked up extras for stocking stuffers to put away. Only complaint is I had no idea there was a 10 for $10 - some signage would have been helpful.

We were in this shopping plaza when the roommate and I decided to check out BevMo. (We had some time to kill.) We stopped by on Sunday, October 21st around 12:30pm. *Norton Barrel Select Malbec ($19.95) *Zonin Prosecco ($0.05, originally $19.95) *Q&A Red Wine ($19.95) *Craftwork Cabernet Sauvignon ($0.05, originally $19.95) *Gruet Cuvee 89 Sparkling Brut ($19.95) *Cabpothesis Cabernet Sauvignon ($0.05, originally $19.95) *Cris Cross Zinfandel ($19.95) *Buccaneer Cabernet Sauvignon ($0.05, originally $19.95) *Athenaeum Cabernet Sauvignon ($56.95 first bottle x1, $0.05 second bottle x1) Luckily they were doing their 5 cent wine sale, so I decided to restock my wine rack. I guess you can mix and match now, so I decided to get a bunch of bottles at $19.95. They had a fair amount at that price, so I got 8 bottles at basically $10 each. The roomie saw the anthenaeum bottle on special, so we grabbed two bottles of that as well. I've never tried that wine, but two bottles at $57 seemed like a great deal. This location also has a nice selection of scotch and whiskey, but you can actually find them for less at a certain wholesale store, so we didn't pick up any liquor. Great BevMo location. Especially during their 5 cent wine sale. A great time to restock.

We wanted to buy beer before coming up to Lake Tahoe but didn't have a chance. We were so happy to see a BevMo, it was just what we needed. They had a variety of IPA's probably two whole walls plus the stuff they have in the fridges. Also found a nice Sauvignon blanc for only 9 bucks!! Probably my new fav next time I go to the BevMo back home. The guys at the register were polite, made small talk & helped me look for a certain beer I wanted to try. Also gave me some recommendations on others IPA's. Overall good experience & service

Bevmo -Holy moly! An entire standalone the store dedicated 90% or more of their inventory to just alcohol!? How amazing! They had virtually every spirit and beer imaginable and also accessories like snacks, corkscrews, cups and everything else you could possibly need for an awesome party. Ample free parking all around the building and a super friendly and helpful staff! Be sure to take a picture with the Big Bear out front!

Perfect. Perfect. Perfect. Huge parking lot. Easily accessible from the road. Selection is awesome. I was up in the area and wanted something only available in CA so this was a perfect stop. The bonus was that not only did they have what I wanted they have even more. And.... in store samples of whiskey! Jack Daniel's had a rep sampling both their honey and fire whiskeys. Perfect for a chilly night outside. The employees and the sample rep were knowledgeable and able to suggest a few selections I had not tried before. I also needed a small bottle of dark rum that was high proof to make bananas fosters and the cashier was able to take me to the small bottle area and find the perfect rum for me! I will remember this location the next time i'm looking for something not available in Nevada.

The atmosphere is a huge standout too. There's a few tables for indoor seating, but the outdoor area is surrounded by tall forest trees, giving it a peaceful, tucked-away vibe and makes it a unique brewery atmosphere. They even have a few igloo-styled tents with heat lamps, which made it super cozy on a cooler day. Then we transitioned inside where we could still hear the music, but it was in the shade so it was cooler. It's hard to Believe on March 14,2026 it was too hot outside. The place was packed and all the outdoor shady spots were taken. The kids were playing wildly with the hula hoops and running around. The adults were playing ping pong and corn hole. Today, March 15 we returned to play Corn hole, ping pong and for lunch. We started with the broccoli chatter soup. We wanted the leech soup too, but they were out. We also had the turkey pesto grilled sandwich with gooey melted cheese and chips. We shared it and it was just right amount for us for lunch. I love outdoor games and even more when they are free. Corn hole is a tough game. I only got 2 in snd he got 4. Im not sure if we're any better at ping pong. Either way we had a fun time. After we were done a group of 6 kids were all playing and in the process some younger kids got fidgety and dismounted the net. I'm so glad we played first with the net intact. This is definitely a place I'll return to. We were at Caesar's watching the Raiders and 49ers play around 6 months ago and got hungry. There wasn't anything to tat in the casino so I popped over here and got us some sandwiches. It was perfect. The people in front of us did the same thing. If you walk out the back door of Caesars they are across the street.

South Lake Brewing Company is located in the same plaza as Target, with plenty of parking available. South Lake Brewing Company is also dog friendly for those traveling with their pups When we walked in through the back entrance, we were greeted by an employee. After looking over the menu, we ended up ordering: Pilsner, $8- My husband ordered this one for himself. He liked it and had said he would order it again. Not really big on beer (although I do like German beers), I didn't have any. 2 Towns Huckleberry Cider, $8- I ordered this cider for myself and I thought it was fantastic. The sweet flavors of the huckleberry was prominent and excellent as a hard cider. --------------------------- (Total= $16) After my husband paid, the employee helping got our drinks right away. Then we just sat in the corner inside to just enjoy and relax for a while. The place itself was pretty empty, although a small amount of traffic was coming in. The brewery inside was pretty clean and so were the ladies' restrooms. Outside there was a corn hole for those that wished to play and also it was nice that there was some shade as well. If I was a local, I would definitely come back.

We were seated quickly by the waitress and served water. It must have been short staffed that day because it took a while to get our drink and food orders in. I'll give benefit of the doubt that it was slow season and staffing might be lean. My wife and I ordered Baja fish tacos and the fish n chips plate, I though the texture and execution of the dishes was spot on, very crispy and appetizing looking dishes, the tacos had cotija cheese on top of the fried fish, diced peppers with pico, and the side was a creative play on street corn (corn, mayo, cheese, spices) served with chips. The only critique I'll give is everything needed more salt, but that's better than being salty. My drinks were amazing, blood orange IPA and the clear water lager (award winning).
