If you try to use the self check lanes, half of them are usually out of commission or don't accept cash or there's an 80 year old with a full cart taking about an hour to scan their items and then usually needing help to do it. Maverik is a trusted place to stop for gas, have a bite/snack and a cleaner place to use the restroom. While I'm on my roadtrips, I will stop at a Maverik 99% of the time over any other gas station. If you're in the area, this location is brand new. It's beautiful, clean and the pumps for trucks or anyone towing is well organized. I got a cold bottle of water as I've been having some onboard fridge problems and this delivery solved it (a new power cord, if you must know). The 7-Eleven is on a corner and as such, it's hard to access from the west on Lincoln Highway. Enter through the pawn shop entrance. While the selection may not be consistent, Grocery Outlet provides a great selection of groceries at very reasonable pricing. I always find awesome name brand stuff here and save a ton of money. Nice store, not too busy- I like it better than the one in Reno.. Lucked out- got two bags and a bag of sesame sticks. A lot cheaper than buying on line. Brand is good and price was perfect. Glad to stop and shop!
