Chicks run around $5 a piece and are female-- comparable to prices online but without the exorbitant shipping costs that online hatcheries charge you (and you don't run the risk of any of your chicks passing away in the mail). Manufactured homes are notorious for having the cream of the crap and oddball products for manufacturing the homes. Chris was the whiz that worked there, he was able to get the correct faucet stems and accompanying parts to make my plumbing job much easier. Unlike the large big box hardware stores that offer no customer service, Chris was able to grind/cut off the older faucet parts to find out what replacements I needed. This alone was value that a big box hardware store could not offer. These guys are great at this store.

After I reached out three more times (they never called me on the status), chair was finally delivered 7/16. And it's not the one we ordered. When asking Ashley if I wanted to get a refund she told me it would take two weeks to get my money. So I am passing the recliner on to someone else. I finally got the new chicken coop up and ready in time to get chicks and start a new flock! Kruses always has the best selection of baby chicks in the area, ranging from all the expected breeds to those wacky and rare ones too. Seeing all of them made my head spin because I really had no idea what the breeds looked like as adults nor what kind of eggs or temperaments to expect. The staff was super helpful and showed me a big chart on the wall detailing it all! We ended up with 10 and 2 ducks, representing 5 breeds! I decided I wanted a third of one breed (buff brahma) and sent a friend to get it but they sent her home with the wrong one. Oh well. We got an extra solid egg layer so it makes no difference. I hear they can get just about any breed you want, so be sure to ask. I'm headed back soon because I need some more food for these little gals! I love Kruses!

I got some Silkies, Polish and Wyandotte's. They also had everything we could need to take care of them: feeders, heat lamps and both medicated and non medicated chick feed. The guy was also knowledgeable about chickens and helped me pick the ones I wanted. I would highly recommend Kruse's for all your chicken (or other farming) needs!

I explained I needed flowers for my husband's funeral and Celebration of Life. After condolences they asked if he had any favorite colors or flowers. I answered with orange and teal and he loved roses. I expected they may find a few orange roses and include quite a bit of filler. Not the case. They made a beautiful urn vase arrangement, floral heart shaped wreath and 6 table centerpieces with dozens of his favorite orange rose. They far exceeded my expectations and at a very reasonable price. I will be using Community Roots and Shoots for all my floral needs.

They all went to a party & didn't answer the phones. This was very nerve racking. Then when I picked up the Sod they warned me the sod was very fragile, and gave me a couple extra pieces for the trouble. In fact it was very hard to lay, broke up into pieces. Probobly took me twice as long. I liked picking the sod up in Dayton so much more. Why they changed I don't know.
