We've had many water leaks over the years, the roofing company that did it 10 years ago did not do a number of things correctly and are now out of business so we really wanted to get it right this time. I've had several roofers do work for us in the past and they all talk a good game initially but are generally okay to sketchy at best when it comes to getting the work done. Christian Roofing sets a new standard of Excellence in my opinion. From Johnny the estimator who is super friendly, professional and so knowledgeable he helped guide us into the proper roof that will not leak even if there's some ponding. The front office was spot on with Billing incrementally at the correct times and always there for any questions. Finally the crew including Juan Valdez, Alfonso, and their team were as professional and courteous as they come. They showed up every day at exactly the time scheduled and worked through extreme heat and humidity always keeping a positive can do attitude. They offered to cover things inside the house as needed and at the end of every day I received an email explaining exactly what they did that day with before and after pictures. Who does this? They even put a porta potty by the house so they didn't need to use our restrooms and the crew could remain on site for their lunches again next level. There was also some complex coordination with the patio company that would be building a patio and attaching to the edge of the new roof and they handled it flawlessly. I also threw a few curve balls at them during the project including having an old solar tube replaced and some damaged flashing outside of the work area repaired and again the response was no problem, the change order was written and it was done. I rarely write reviews but their service was so exceptional I had to do so here. If you want the best go with Christian roofing and you won't be sorry.

Chris, the owner, was straightforward, professional, and very hands-on throughout the entire project. What impressed me most was that he worked right alongside his crew every day and appeared to work just as hard as anyone on the team. The crew consistently arrived just before 7:00 AM, but never started work early out of consideration for us and our neighbors. They were dependable, communicative, and showed up exactly when they said they would. Another thing that really stood out was how clean and organized they kept the job site. At the end of each day, they thoroughly cleaned the area around our home, swept the sidewalks, and carefully searched for nails and debris. Chris was also very accurate and honest with his estimates. He explained upfront that any damaged wood replacement would be additional because it's impossible to know the extent of hidden damage ahead of time. In our case, there was a significant amount of dry rot and insect damage, but all of the extra woodwork still came in well within the estimated range he had provided. The project was also completed about a day earlier than expected. As an added touch, Chris even offered to paint the fascia for us if I supplied the matching paint. Overall, this was an outstanding experience from start to finish. We've worked with many contractors over the years, and this company ranks among the very best. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone needing roofing work done.

Although the…read moreexperience wasn't perfect, the quality of the work and the professionalism of several team members made it a five-star experience for me. Josue, the estimator, did an excellent job. He was patient, knowledgeable, thorough in measuring and evaluating my roof, and very easy to communicate with. He took the time to help clarify the scope of work. Albert and his installation crew did a fantastic job. Albert is highly skilled, detail-oriented, and easy to communicate with. The finished roof looks gorgeous, and even my neighbor sent me a message complimenting how beautiful it looks. I really appreciate their workmanship and attention to detail. The demolition crew also deserves recognition. They did a great job removing the old roof while keeping both my backyard and my neighbor's backyard clean. I appreciated their care in minimizing the mess. Owner Dana provided great support, and the office responded quickly regarding the invoice and warranty paperwork. There were a few areas for improvement. First, on the originally scheduled installation day, I received a call that morning informing me that the crew could not start as planned. I understand that rain and extreme heat can disrupt schedules and create backlogs, but earlier notice would have been appreciated. After the job was rescheduled for 1 p.m., the project manager and crew arrived around 11:30 a.m., while I was away, and started tearing off the roof without meeting with me first. I would have preferred that they wait until the agreed-upon time so I could meet with the project manager before work began. I also experienced some difficulty getting clear communication from the project manager about the scope of work. The project manager eventually contacted Josue, who helped clarify things. Finally, although I offered the workers access to my guest bathroom every day, they unfortunately chose to relieve themselves in a corner of my backyard. I would have appreciated more consideration and professionalism in this regard. Despite these issues, I'm happy with the overall result. The roof looks beautiful, the installation quality is excellent, and the team members I worked most closely with were knowledgeable, skilled, and helpful. I would give Dana Logsdon Roofing five stars for the quality of the work and the final result, while encouraging the company to improve scheduling communication, project coordination, and job-site professionalism.

Best Decision We Could Have Made…read more Choosing a company to replace your roof is a big decision. Your roof protects your home, your family, and a huge part of your property's value. So when the time came for us to replace ours, we looked at several companies. In the end, choosing Cal Roof was absolutely the right call. From start to finish, they were incredibly responsive, kind, caring, and professional. Every step of the process was handled with attention and care, and you could tell immediately that this is a company that truly takes pride in their work. They weren't the cheapest option, and honestly, when it comes to something as critical as your roof, do you really want the cheapest? At the same time, they weren't the most expensive either. What they were was honest, fair, and incredibly easy to work with. I worked directly with Doug, and he's just one of those people you immediately trust. He's personable, knowledgeable, and a straight shooter who clearly loves what he does. You get the sense that roofing is in his DNA. That authenticity and professionalism ultimately made the decision easy for us. The result? A beautiful new roof, no more leaks, and real peace of mind knowing our home is safe and dry. If I could offer one piece of advice to homeowners, it would be this: don't wait until your roof starts leaking like we did. Be proactive. Have your roof inspected regularly and work with a company you trust. For us, that company is Cal Roof. And choosing them was one of the best home improvement decisions we've made.

Although the manager was behind schedule on the first day, they promptly informed us, which we appreciated. After completion, we found several issues: broken garage panels, a missing attic panel, and exposed porch nails. We told the manager when he picked up the check. He called them 'just cosmetic' but said his team would fix them. No one came until I followed up, and repairs were finished on May 30, 2025, including replacing damaged wood on the porch and garage. About three months later (August 2025), brown stains appeared on the porch ceiling. When it rained, brown water poured from the gutters. I contacted the manager again, but he did not respond. The next week, a team member came while we were not home and painted over the porch wood, but this did not fix the stains or the underlying problem. Overall, the initial process and communication would be a 5/5, but the quality of the work and follow-through would be closer to a 3/5.

Like many others, the service provided by this company is disappointing and far below even the most basic expectations. Ask yourself if it's worth getting a solid system only to have no one respond to emails, maybe get lucky to get a call back, have issues with your system that you were never informed of.. and on and on. My case is still open so I will update this if my concerns get addressed, but as of now, 2 stars is generous. The biggest disappointment? They can't talk to you enough until you pay them. Then you are basically ghosted. For me.. Lots of contact with sales and service until payment then no response. Installation was fine. Then someone came out weeks later and said my system wasn't working so he was fixing it. No one had bothered to tell me. The product is good, the service is honestly terrible once you pay.
