Antonio came out quickly to give a quote, was on time, and explained exactly why our roof was leaking. He was able to repair it the same day for a fair price. Julie at the office sent us an invoice and before/after photos within hours of the job - it couldn't have been smoother. Antonio guarantees his work, as well. Highly recommend. Thank you, Antonio! read more

This is family owned business. Antonio the owner, is an honest person. He did what he said will do on my roof to make it watertight. His employees are super professional but the credit goes to Antonio because he was always checking up on his guys to make sure the work is being done per scope of work as stated in the contract. Do not trust roofers with sales person. Hire AG roofing, you'll have a peace of mind knowing your roof can handle the next storms. read more

They came out to look at the job and said he'd get me a quote. When I inquired about the quote he told me they don't do that type of job. This is after he told me he could and wanted my e-mail address. read more

We are experiencing significant ceiling drywall and insulation damage due to our new but faulty roof. AG roofing laid our garage roof in October of 2019. While we have had exceptional rainfall recently, a new roof should last longer than three years if it's installed properly. We have had to remove a quarter of the ceiling and insulation due to the water pouring through the ceiling and insulation from the roof. After reviewing the contract I realized there is no warranty! I called Antonio immediately upon seeing the ceiling come apart and left a detailed message and to date, no one from AG Roofing has returned my call. read more

Amazing experience, found issues on my roof that I didn't know existed. The expert was able to diagnosis the problems then come back with a large team that knocked out my problem before the rain. There was a small gap, which was debatable if it was apart of the roof but the AG team came back and fixed it anyways, which was extremely kind. read more

Thank you Antonio!! Incredibly kind, on-time and explained everything. He allowed me to look around the roof with him and pointed out the problem areas and recommendations without pushing any unnecessary services. 10/10 would go with AG Roofing. Thank you! read more

During the rains we had a leak in the roof over the garage opening. AG roofing gave a very competitive bid. They came out and had a few workman and finished in 2 days. We have had 2 rains since then and totally dry in the garage so I recommend AG Roofing. read more

Antonio and his team are wonderful they know their trade we had a commercial TPO roofing done and they make sure the job is done correctly

Our new roof is beautiful! Antonio delivers superior quality and service at a price well below other quotes we received. Work was done efficiently and effectively. Antonio has integrity and was very easy to work with. We highly recommend A.G. Roofing. read more

Overcharged for a repair that didn't fix the problem. Ignored request when notified that repair didn't do anything to fix the leak.

This company scheduled a meeting with me, then on the meeting day itself they tried to reschedule for a different time. I very clearly told them I'm not available at that time, they said "noted" then ignored it, and showed up at the time they wanted anyway, instead of the scheduled time, ringing door ball multiple times and disrupting my work video conference. I obviously couldnt get the door, so contacted them again during the actual, scheduled appointment window, and was told Antonio is "unavailable" to come, during the appointment time, which they scheduled with me.... They offer me to come another day, even though it's raining this week, my roof is leaking, doing damage to the house, and I made it clear it was urgent. One of the worst experiences I've ever had on Yelp getting an estimate...Would advise to stay away from this company. read more

Antonio the owner personally showed up to our house frequently, often several times a day during our project. We needed an entirely new roof and several pieces of the support structure were rotted out and needed replacement as well. Antonio not only was punctual, respectful and fair to my elderly parents but he genuinely cared about their concerns and went the extra mile to meet thier demands. The work crew were always on time and was always working hard. The work tempo was always high and they were always cautious not to make a mess. The quality of work is top notch and there is absolutely nothing I could ask more of them. They are based out of the North County but did not hesitate to work on our house in the South Bay. We are very grateful for Antonio and the entire crew at AG Roofing. read more

Highly recommended. They are super professional. I have around 7 broken tiles that need replacement. They come (4 people in total) and replace the tiles in less than 1 hour and found 3 more broken tiles. Super efficient and professional. The price is reasonable as well. read more

Our Insurance company dropped us due to an old roof, and Antonio and his company were there three days after I said we wanted their work. Not only were they $6000 lower than all their competitors, but they're more reasonable for the unexpected repairs. I also asked for some upgrades to the eves, which they were happy to oblige and made look perfect. My roof looks perfect, and much classier than all the other homes in the area. Our house had many layers of old asphalt shingles, which took them nearly no time at all to remove. Total, it only took AG roofing three and a half days to completely replace our roof and fix everything that needed to be. Antonio also helped us choose our shingle color based on what color we planted to paint our house next, and it looks beautiful. They are friendly, responsive, reasonable, and very timely. Hands down, I would recommend these folks over their competitors. read more

Antonio came out right away after we noticed a leak and called him. He found the source of the leak, showed us the problem, and gave us a reasonable quote to fix the issue. Once we gave him the green light to move forward, he acquired the new roof tile and quickly fixed the issue. We are very happy with the results. read more

I %100 recommend AG roofing, they did a great job and were very competitive, I had other quotes. I have a tile roof, 40 years old, it had been leaking in several spots during a hard rain for years. I had the entire roof redone. AG also works on flat roofs by the way. Since I badly needed the roof work done anyways, I installed a solar electric system at the same time, through accessible solar (Nestor Morales) https://accessiblesolarsd.com/ which is a Sun Power dealer. I also highly recommend them. The solar contract included the roofing, thus I was eligible to get a %30 tax credit on both the solar and the roof. Additionally, since it is a solar installation, I was able to obtain long term, fixed rate 12 year financing through wheelhouse credit union to pay Sun Power, so my monthly payment is $250 per month, but I should save $100 to $200 per month on my electric bill, leaving a small payment for the roof. That strategy worked out better for me than paying upfront for the roof without the financing. If you need a roof, please consider AG roofing, and also see if solar makes sense for you. (Mypoint credit union in San Diego also does solar loans). read more

Hired this team to completely change our roof after several problems on an older roof. It wasn't an easy job with solar, flat roof and artisanal clay tile work. They recommended us a great solar team who gave us a fast quote. They came in at a very reasonable price and now we have a beautiful new roof, no problems in the rain. Very happy with the experience. read more

Quick and efficient. Antonio showed up on time and responded with 2 estimates the next day. Discussed issues and options with me and my contractor and completed the work quickly using the materials I wanted. He also replaced damaged facia and will do siding. Will definitely use him again. read more

I had to call around several roofing companies before I was able to secure a booking. When I contacted AG Roofing, Antonio was able to schedule me in quickly and on the day of the appointment he was a few minutes early! On a recently purchased house, there were some problem areas on the roof that were highlighted in a home inspection. And Antonio provided a detail quote with photos later the same day. I would highly recommend AG Roofing. read more

Great with responding and good communication setting up time to do an estimate. Honest and not pushy at all.

I requested a quote and was asked for my phone number which I provided but, I didn't hear from them again.

Carlos at AG Roofing installed two roofs at our Ocean Beach Office and we could not have been happier. Not only did they diagnose leftover wires, vents, pipes, and cracks, they installed the roof so well we are using AG Roofing for our rentals now. Carlos thank you again. read more

This guy called me after I did a request on HomeAdvisor. He came to look at my roof. He gave me two verbal estimates, one for repair and one for a total roof refurbishing. I told him I would need them in writing showing what work he was going to perform. He said he would provide them and never did even after multiple requests. Funny because HomeAdvisor referred him, but they say do not hire contractors who do not provide written estimates. The reason, because you can't hold the contractor to their promises. UPDATE: To be fair I received one of the two estimates I requested from A.G. Roofing......about two hours after sending them a copy of my Yelp review via my e-mail...an email I had already written down the day they came to the house and texted it to the owner of the company after I had not received an estimate by the end of the next day. During the conversation I had with the A.G. Roofing after I sent them the Yelp review via my email he claimed I did not get an estimate because they had my email wrong and asked me for it again. A check of Yelp revealed he had tried to contact me there after I posted the review....the one I sent him via my personal email.....which they did not have....so they could not send me the promised estimate....ARGH! read more

I recently purchased a house and realized there were a bunch of leaks. There were so many leaks that we needed a new roof because the previous roofers were unwilling to stand by the warranty of the previous owner. Enter AG Roofing and a bunch of other roofers who surveyed the roof and gave me estimates. Carlos was extremely communicative over the phone - he managed the administration - and Antonio was the on-site supervisor and, in the end, the built us an entirely new roof that was gorgeous on our Spanish house. They also extended an unbeatable roof warranty which, after my previous experience, is invaluable. They also built me an overhand on part of the house that was getting damaged because of water and they also left behind a very clean job site. I would highly recommend hiring Antonio and Carlos because they validate your needs as a customer (throughout the work I pointed out areas that I wanted changed and they did it without problem, including the purchasing of new tiles) and deliver on what you ask. Big thank you to them both. read more

I needed someone to install fire protection vents on my roof. AG Roofing is one of the few contractors around who do that sort of work. I contacted them through Yelp, and they responded right away. They came out the next day to assess the existing vents, and started work a couple days later. They were done in one day, and did an excellent job. read more

We received a home inspection with some less than desirable results specifically on the condition of the roof. With a contingency timeline closing in we needed an estimate ASAP to attempt to have the seller cover the cost of the replacement roof. After countless calls and emails to various competitors, Antonio and A.G. Roofing INC came to the rescue with an immediate visit on a Saturday to give us the estimate we needed. Definitely plan on using them for the replacement roof following our purchase of the home. read more

The project was roof underlayment replacement on the following dates 30 May-3Jun 2017. The contract and total amount for the project was $9800.00. The payments were made in 2 separate occasions by personal check. Per my bank institution both checks had been cashed. To date after several emails attempting and requesting an invoice for the total amount I paid, Antonio Gomez, the owner of AG Roofing San Diego, has IGNORED my emails and REFUSED to issue the invoice requested. Before the last payment was made, I had a couple major discrepancy issues such as 5 -6 inches gap of the roof tile and the wall after the roof tile was installed. The improper weather sealing of the sheet metal in the chimney and so on. I, as the homeowner did the Quality Inspection not Antonio Gomez. Had I not seen those discrepancies and complain to Antonio Gomez through email, they would have not been fixed. Also during the course of re-roofing Antonio Gomez NEVER did ocular Inspection, again not until I made the complaint. The invoice I am asking Antonio Gomez is a piece of paper to serve as proof for the work AG Roofing did, which I will also hold as a Warranty Security should there be any defects on workmanship that may arise later on. It was just unfortunate I had given this job to AGRoofing San Diego. I will NEVER recommend AG Roofing San Diego for any Roofing projects. UNRELIABLE, INCOMPETENT and UNSATISFACTORY CUSTOMER SERVICE once the contract is awarded. Too bad yelp doesn't have a ZERO star rating because they deserve no stars! read more
