The service was great. Food was good but $100 for four sandwich meals was a bit much. That's my only complaint. Otherwise it's a nice place.

Really enjoyed this spot. Not crowed, small, cozy and wide variety of beers (bottles and tap). So many choices it took me a good 10 minutes to figure out what I wanted. Once I finally figured out what I wanted I was disappointed to hear that they were sold out. But the bartender was fantastic! He was able to quickly recommend another beer and was probably much better than the one I originally wanted. He also took the time to give me a lesson on how to pour it properly (a much shorter and just as efficient) and maximize the flavor. If I was a local resident (I was visiting from St. Louis), this would be one of my regular spots. Very nice little place with a great, reasonably-priced beer selection. The food was also very good. I had the cold roast beef sandwich - one of those basic sandwiches that some places still can't do well. But Rendezvous did a great job with good bread, plenty of lean beef and just the right amount of toppings. And kudos to Mick for providing a bit of humor along with fine service. read more

We love Rendezvous and have been going there since 2003. It is such a secret gem almost as it is tucked away down an isle of shops but has the best beer selection and wonderful food. In all the years we've gone there has never been a bad dish. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. Definitely a must go to for any St. Augustine visitor. read more

Great beer selection and the food was phenomenal too. My girlfriend got the bratwurst and the pasta salad and I had the Reuben sandwich with the potato salad. The Reuben is one of the best I've ever had, bite for bite was delicious! The potato salad was amazing too. The bratwurst was yummy but the bun had too much bread, however they stacked it high with plenty of sauerkraut and mustard. I got the Hofbrau Hefeweizen which is now one of my favorite beers and she got a Labatt Blue. The vibe between the food, the beer, and the staff is super cool. Love what they have going on here and I'll definitely make sure to come here next time I'm in St Augustine. This place is absolutely worth your time and money. I was traveling with my in-laws in Saint Augustine and this place was one of the more affordable places around so we stopped to check it out. I'm not a beer drinker but I was fascinated by the imported beer selection and was tempted to try a couple. I like the unique food selections they had on their menu. I had the brie and ham sandwich and potato salad which was good. Kinda reminded me of a Cuban sandwich with apples. The best beer selection EVER! I hadn't been here for years and wasn't sure It still existed. So when the man and I came to town I was super excited to find it! He was able to get his favorite English beers and I was able to try a couple I haven't been able to find anywhere around home. They serve a light menu but we were here for the beers. Locally owned hideaway. This bar is spot on for offering several selections that are not available anywhere else. The remodeled atmosphere really makes this place excellent. Being gluten free, it's rare to find a lot of options in a place that primarily sells beer. I was ecstatic to find they offered flavors of Rekorderlig that I've never had! My friends and I stumbled into this bar last weekend while trying to find a place to eat in the St Augustine madness. I was pleasantly surprised by the selection of beers! I ordered a German Pilsner. Our server/bartender was phenomenal and had a story for each beer we ordered. I also happened to order the cheese plate, thank god I did because I discovered dragon cheese. My panini was missing tomato, my bacon was put on my kids burger, and the bread on the panini was so black and disgusting it was like they hadn't cleaned the panini grill in a month. This is definitely one of the rather odd places to have lunch. But don't be fooled by the weird mall entrance or the interesting vibe. Rendezvous Beer Bar is more then just your run-of-the-mill bar. This place has a huge selection of beers and knowledgeable employees. We came here randomly for the food. I got the Greek chicken wrap which was really really good. Filled with warm chicken and a feta sauce. The pasta salad that came with it was excellent too. My only complaint is that I wish the portions were bigger. The pasta came in the world's smallest cup practically. My girlfriend really enjoyed her grilled cheese as well. Overall, if the portions were a little bigger it would be 5 stars.
