Awww man, great place- great layout, in an absolutely amazing little outdoor mall collection of incredible restaurants and shops (small ones) killer good Oktoberfest brew. A beautiful day, family friendly even patio out back as well as big front and indoor seating if you need out of the elements

Dining method: Dine-in Item(s) ordered: Hang Time IPA Speed: Fast! Value: Reasonable The review: Great beer in a cool spot within Bow Market. Although you are not allowed to take your beer out of the venue, you are encouraged to bring in whatever food you'd like. There are many tables in the back (with a view of the brewing equipment!), ample space to sit, and even a second bar in the back of the space. Perfect place to hang with friends. The staff were really nice to boot. I enjoyed the Hang Time IPA, a NEIPA with a citrus flavor profile that's not too sweet or bitter and very drinkable. Will be back soon! Thank you!

Very cute spot with outdoor seating! There are tons of restaurants that share the space around the patios, so you can place pickup orders and eat at the brewery while trying cool beers! They are dog friendly on the outdoor patio and there are plenty of tables to hang out at. The drinks are great and I love that you can bring food from the restaurants that surround it. It is definitely a cool area to explore and has little shops like a mini outdoor mall!

It's cool to have a brewery with cool vibes and an eclectic mix of people... BUT a DJ is NOT, NOT live music !!! Wasted my time thinking we were going to see "live music" only to hear a DJ .... Cmon... seriously I paid $80 in tickets for this?? Boo...

Remnant is such a fun, welcoming spot! You can BYOF, so it's great to order a variety of treats from nearby businesses and enjoy them on their patio with some beers. In the past, we've grabbed grub from Bow Market restaurants Tanam, Hot Box, Buenas, and Saus. They regularly host events, like Trivia with Merideth on Mondays starting at 7pm! Meredith is an amazing trivia host, and the game is a blast with a great mix of questions along with music clues. The perfect way to spend time with a group of friends and beat those Monday Exhausties. My team got first place in trivia recently, and we won a $35 Remnant gift card, so I'll be back soon! As far as the beers go, many are on the hoppy side, and they also have other styles like sours. Everything I've tried has been tasty and drinkable. And the bartenders are friendly and fun. For all of these reasons, Remnant is quite remarkable!

This place is popping on a Saturday night. It was kind of tough to find a table around 7 pm. You can grab food around Bow Market and bring it here to enjoy your food and a drink! They have two sizes, but they give you the bigger size if you don't ask for the 8-ounce. I got the Dream Pop and my friends got the Space Junk and Diamond Lake DIPA and all 3 were full of flavor. Space Junk and Diamond Lake DIPA were on the fruity side which was perfect for my palate. The bartenders were nice and helpful with the different beers. There's outdoor and indoor seating and pet friendly!

A cool spot for a brewery! We went on a cold day but I can't imagine how nice it would be in the Spring or Summer. The brewery is located in Bow Market so you can have beer and order online from any of the spots within and easily walk over and get it! Lots of restaurants and shops right there. We got poutine from Saus (always good) and had several IPAs from the brewery. Really well made beer and we were happy with our selections. Pet friendly if that matters to you and they also have a back outdoors with seating. Staff at the front bar were really sweet and informative. Will definitely come back!

This place is AWESOME. Love the vibe of the place. Beer is great, and they have a good variety. All of the staff behind the bar are amazing and so friendly (shoutout to Evan!). They will help with recommendations based on your beer interests! Would totally recommend this brewery and absolutely plan on coming back.

Dope little spot with quite a bit of space. One of the things I enjoyed the most was the fact that it's located in an outdoor food hall. I got the hot box pizza and highly recommend it. There was an improve night going on in the coffee bar with a small audience. I headed over to the brew side, sat down, and read some pages in my book. It was the girl behind the bar's 2nd day maybe, but any time I asked a question she was quick to go talk to the other girl working to find out the answer. They have a big selection of tasty craft beers. In fact, this was one of my favorite breweries for the beer that I went to while visiting.

One of my favorite breweries located in Bow Market. A nice space to hang out, with creative drafts as well as espresso depending on when you're there. They don't serve food, but as with all places in Bow Market, allow you to bring outside food (whether from a nearby place like Saus or elsewhere). You can enjoy remnant either on the back patio, outside with the fire pits, or indoors. The bartenders are super kind and it's always a good time here. Usually grab a few to go, as friends love this place too.

My friends and I absolutely loved this place in Bow Market! Don't be fooled by the small storefront, the brewery stretches far back and there is plenty of additional seating. Even though we were a group of 8, the bartender kept up with our ordering and was friendly and knowledgeable about the beers. The beers! Yum! Although there is no food, you are welcome to grab food from one of the many vendors in the market and bring it into the brewery. Overall, Remnant is the perfect atmosphere for grabbing a delicious brew with friends!

Such a solid spot. One of our favorite places to go for weekend beers. They allow you to bring in food from any of the fabulous food vendors in Bow Market. They also serve stellar coffee in the front of the brewery. Service is always really polite and friendly. Visited for the first time post COVID and everything is super spaced out, clean and safe. And... NOW THEY SELL CANS!

Ask the Community - Remnant Brewing

    Is the outdoor patio heated?

The last I was at Remnant they did not have space heaters outside but it's likely they'll have added them as it's gotten colder. I recommend calling the brewery to check if no one on here can give you a definite answer.

Does this place have free wifi? Where is parking available on a Sat? Any outlets available for customers?

Hi! There's metered parking along Somerville ave available everyday. There is free WiFi and outlets available as well. The WiFi turns of at 5 pm each day. Thank you!

Small Bavarian flags are strung everywhere making it always ready for Oktoberfest, regardless of the time of year. The service was very good and friendly, offering to answer any questions. In our case, we were a 16 year old teen from Germany, and I've lived in Germany for two years. My spouse and I have visited many times. All the service was prompt without being overbearing. The food was good. The schnitzel was very good (pork schnitzel), both with and without the wild mushroom sauce. The potato salad was a little weird but tasty; never had potato salad quite like that in Germany. The spätzle was very tasty, but rather huge chunks. It's normally a lot smaller and more uniform, using a Spätzle-Hobel. This looked more like the dough was broken up by hand. Again, still quite tasty. Wine and beer selection were good, with most things sourced from Germany.

Cozy little spot with a pizza oven and an open kitchen (elite combo). Plenty of seating. I went for a weekday dinner and was served instantly. My server convinced me to get the spicy clam, and it was devoured so fast. It was gone before he filled my water! Packed with clam meat, drowning in tomato sauce, and it actually had heat --not that "we waved a chili at it" kind of spicy. I fully intended to have some for the next day and then aggressively did not. Final verdict: cozy vibes, bold flavors, zero self-control, and I will absolutely be back.
