    Corn Crusted Softshell Crab Po'Boy
    Tom V.

Absolutely love this amazing brewpub! Night Shift Brewing Kitchen and Tap is the crown jewel of Encore dining. The bar is lively and welcoming, and will always have the game on. The food choices are terrific, and there's a vast array of premium beers from Night Shift as well as other local brewers. They offer a bevy of hard seltzers, or if cocktails are your thing- there's also a full liquor assortment and the bartenders are *significantly* above average. I am always delighted by the service and craftsmanship of Bobby, Peter and Gregg. They will skillfully concoct you a simple rum and coke, or a perfectly executed Old Fashioned. Benjamin runs the floor, and always greets you with a smile and makes sure the experience is flawless! All the appetizers and entrees are phenomenal, and they're constantly adjusting the menu to keep it fresh and seasonal! Most recently I tried the softshell crab Po'Boy, but the offerings are constantly evolving. Definitely the best place to grab a drink and a snack, or full dinner while at the Encore. You generally don't need reservations like the steakhouse or Pan-Asian destinations, yet it's not as crazy as the burger place upstairs. They even have some larger tables if you're bringing the squad.

There were 9 of us dinning with varied apps and entrees before hitting the cassino. Everything was excellent for all. The service was prompt, knowledgeable and friendly. We will definitely be back again.

    Burger with fries

Had a night out with friends while here out of town. This restaurant was great. The beers were tasty - all sorts to choose from. Pretzel and pimento cheese and crackers as appetizers. I would recommend the pretzel for parties of four or more, it's HUGE! It comes with three dips (Dijon mustard, cheese sauce and a cinnamon sugar butter). The cinnamon sugar is to die for. We also had two salads, chicken spicy sandwich (pretty spicy I was told) and a burger. The fries were crispy and flavorful. As far as price - it was more than a burger joint but less than some of the other restaurants at the casino. The server was friendly as well.

    Flight. Espresso machine.

Service is very friendly and they are always accommodating in terms of where we would like to be placed on the patio. Their beer selection is decent, my husband always enjoys one of their lagers or IPAs. I would really appreciate it if their cider selection was improved. They usually have at least one good cider but more recently, they have been "out." With so many great cideries in New England, it's disappointing that they don't have a collab with one of them. I mean Downeast is just just across the Harbor!!! With that being said, the food is awesome. Our favorite go tos include: the jalapeño arancini, the roni' roni' pizza, the cobb salad, and the fish tacos. I will say for having "roni" twice in the name, they could throw some more on top of the pizza. Regardless, the dough is perfect every time and we always get it with a side of the spicy ranch. Cannot wait to come back and enjoy another meal here! If you're in the area stop by to check it out or if you're heading to the garden for a game, plan to stop by before. It's so worth it.

Their pickled vegetables were perfectly done and plentiful, and it was surely enough food to go around. Ambience is rather loud, it looks like a pub. I took my parents here and we still had a great time. Note: not a lot of parking. They do have outdoor space though! Service is very good. Food was incredible, the blue cheese pizza had a RIDICULOUS amount of blue cheese on it. My mom thought it was too strong, I reheated it at home with an extra slice of bread. The muffin was fantastic and th burger was great too. All in all we had a wonderful time.

Cozy little spot with a pizza oven and an open kitchen (elite combo). Plenty of seating. I went for a weekday dinner and was served instantly. Started with the oyster bombs ($17 for 3) because oyster + tuna is a power couple. Fresh, creamy, perfectly seasoned with mayo and chives...gone in 30 seconds. My server convinced me to get the spicy clam, and it was devoured so fast. It was gone before he filled my water! Packed with clam meat, drowning in tomato sauce, and it actually had heat --not that "we waved a chili at it" kind of spicy. I fully intended to have some for the next day and then aggressively did not. Final verdict: cozy vibes, bold flavors, zero self-control, and I will absolutely be back.

We walked in and there was no hostess. The bartenders stood around and did not greet us. We had to go ask for service so that we can be seated (why?) and then once we were seated, it took a while for a server to take our order. Once we got our order, we never got our waters refilled and only were checked on to see if we'd want more alcohol. The menu was alright, though a bit basic. Food tasted fine. Presentation was basic and the little cup of fries seems stingy and unnecessary when there's already a tray. The alcohol was fine. I was pleased they had cocktails in a can (they have a distillery with a wide variety of spirits). No ciders though. The beer selection was good although the menu on the wall was not updated. It would've been good if we could just order from the wall but apparently the drafts and to-go menus are not updated. Overall very subpar service and unwelcoming pretentious vibes. Would not return.

It was my first time visiting Boston, so I was trying the clam chowder everywhere we went and I absolutely loved theirs! It was creamy and more on the chunky side (I'm not a thin chowder kind of girl). Definitely will return one day just for that...but also the fish and chips were great too. Service was slow and a bit lacking..restaurant was about half full but perhaps they were short on staff... Took a long while for drink refills and food to come out. Funari, Kiley and Sherman frequently got together on weekends to embrace their love of homebrewing. After doing this for a number of years, and building up a local following distributing their home-brews from a blue cooler, they decided to open a brick & mortar brewery and taproom. At this time, DiBona came on board as a partner and assisted with the search for a location. After exausting all options in the seaside town of Hull, the partners acquired a 3,000-sq-ft space in the "craft beer friendly" town of Weymouth. The name "Vitamin Sea" was chosen to reflect Funari's love of surfing and surf culture. The brewery quickly gained a reputation for their juicy New England IPAs, decadent Stouts, and experimental Fruited Sours. A second location opened along the waterfront in Plymouth in May 2024. I recently visited Vitamin Sea's Plymouth location while I was in town for the day. I was scheduled to meet up with some other beer bloggers at a different brewery later. I soon realized that Plymouth has an excellent craft beer scene and decided to head to Vitamin Sea first. The Plymouth facility is a beautiful location along the waterfront. I really liked the nautical/surf design theme too! I grabbed a seat at the bar and began to look over the menu. I heard that the Plymouth location is known for their excellent ciabatta sandwiches, so I ordered the "Parm to Table" (oven-roasted chicken cutlet, house-made marinara, melted mild & aged provolone, Parmesan, whipped lemon ricotta, basil on toasted ciabatta). It was the BEST chicken cutlet sandwich I've ever had in my life! What made it stand apart from other sandwiches? The whipped lemon ricotta! I washed it down with a pour of "Currency Check" (Double New England IPA), followed by "Mexican Blanket" (Imperial Stout). The beer, like the food, was fantastic! I must also point out that the staff were so friendly, knowledgable, and helpful throughout my visit. I highly recommend Vitamin Sea Brewing and look forward to visiting their Weymouth location!
