Brilliant concept having a tap right outside of time out market so you can pair food and beer. Being a block away from Fenway is also a major plus. Trillium building is stand alone and just big enough to house about 10 rails for beer and 6 large tables for enjoying it. They do some cocktails and can pours as well and there is a bunch of outdoor seating. We went before a concert at Fenway so it was really busy but the lines moved quickly. Menu was limited but had enough of what I like. Beer was nice and cold. Hardest part was telling where you could be with your beer outside. There's a few signs but it's one of those you can't be "here" and "must move 2 inches to the right" to be in compliance. Thankfully, there's plenty of staff to tell you how you're doing it wrong and move you back the 2 inches you overstepped. read more

Great location for a brewery. The beer was so yummy and refreshing on a hot summer night. It was perfect to enjoy on the outdoor lawn area. They happened to be playing a movie when we arrived so we got to enjoy that as well. They had an extensive menu and everything sounded delicious. Wow. This location is even more impressive than the location by the beer garden location. We were on the way to Fenway, and stopped here. It was a hot sunny day, and we happened to arrive before it got crowded so were able to sit in the AC, thought there's seating outside as well. It's outside TimeOut market, which is lots of food stalls, so you can bring your food to the bar. I don't do IPAs, but their Hefeweizen is stellar. Sours are outstanding as well. The shock was how wonderful the lime seltzer was. I'm a beer girl, make no mistake, but I was in love with the fresh, clean seltzer. Staff was friendly and helpful, and it was very much a Red Sox bar the afternoon we went. But lots of people seem to hang out and do work or school here too. Little mixed on the review because the beer menu was just ok, I think it was 6/8 beers were some form of pale ale. If you're a craft brewery I would think you should be able to offer more than just a bunch of pale ales. All time favorite Brewing Company in MA! For someone who does not drink beer, Trillium beer really hits the spot. For non-beer drinkers I highly recommend the Daily Serving option - which is a sweeter beer, similar to a sour. Trillium Fenway is a go-to spot before Red Sox games or after a long day of work. Living in the Brookline/Jamaica Plain area - it's an easy walk. It's about 7-10 minutes walking distance from Fenway Park! It's also conveniently located next to Time Out Market, in case you're also looking for somewhere to eat. You're able to bring food from the Market into Trillium. The service is great - the staff is always helpful and very knowledgeable about their recommendations. During the summer Trillium can get full, so always try to give yourself some time if you're trying to enjoy the outside patio! If you have interest in driving, there is a parking garage at 401 Park. You can get your ticket validated for $10, for up to three hours, if you purchase a beer at Trillium. Highly recommend any Trillium, but this one is a personal favorite! read more

We trekked over to the Fenway location of trillium to meet up with some work biddies we serendipitously ran into during our prior stop. I am apparently naive AF because I had never heard of this brewery. We arrived about 45-60 min before closing time. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. the outdoor seating overlooks some grass and, at the time of our visit, the surprisingly dense crowd leaving the Paul McCartney concert closeby. The service was good, we were tended to immediately as we stepped up to the bar but there wasn't much competition for their attention at the time. The most brownie points goes to the manager or whoever it was who unlocked the adjacent 401 park building and then escorted us to the bathroom because we had to pee after closing! It was incredible and, if you've been in that situation before I'm sure you can relate, This seems like a cool place that I would stop into again. read more

Way to go to Trillium for figuring out how to do the beer garden during covid right. I came here on a Saturday evening and was nervous about trying to find a seat, the hostess was super nice and got us in as soon as something cleared up, even though we didn't have a reservation (which was totally my bad) Seating is socially distant and all outside, with only the staff being allowed inside the building, they have an area to pickup beers separate from the dining section which is great for those looking to just grab and go. You have to order food so we got the pretzel (which I believe is in partnership w/ Bisq which is always great to see local businesses supporting other local businesses) which was great - super butter, great honey mustard sauce, and good size for sharing between two. As always with Trillium, the beers are the stand out here. I love their sours, my mans really enjoyed the variety of IPAs and wild beers they have here. I loveeeee Daily Servings, it's one of my favorite beers ever, but also recommend the Bianca Guava, Franklin Park, and the wilds [the wine mixed sort of things]. Came here during a visit to Boston. My husband and I took the subway from downtown to this location and it was located within 5 minutes from the station. We enjoyed our beers for Trillium. I got the Pale Ale, and my husband got a DIPA collab between Trillium, Monkish and Other Half. They have a large outdoor space with heaters that were warm enough on the fall day outside. Manager noticed brown dog with tags laying under table and we are told to move outside the patio with our drinks. Next to the 4 year-old and his parents. No soft touch or even an explanation. Strong drinks, beautiful ambiance, seamless ordering and reservation system, and good vibes all around. trillium is a great place to kick it back on the weekend with friends. During Covid, you are required to make a reservation which can easily be done online. You are also required to order food (in partnership with Time Out Market) if you choose to drink here - as part of the bar policy during Covid in Boston. I loved how easy it was to order drinks (and it was essentially contactless) - you have a QR code that you scan on your phone and order and pay directly online (they ask you to checkout with your credit card on your phone as you order). The environment is cute, right in the heart of Fenway and right next to Time Out Market - lots of hanging lights, patio chairs, picnic tables and lots of diverse kinds of people here. Saw some students, working professionals, and families with children. The drinks themselves are strong and flavorful and definitely worth the $$. I was a little bummed that many of their drafts were sold out when we got there (Friday @ 7pm) so come early if there's a particular drink you want to try! Hats off to Trillium for having a seamless system down due to Covid-19. Currently, Trillium is reservation only, and the reservation time slots are released at 9AM each day. Definitely stop by and enjoy the outdoor seating while the weather is still nice. All of the tables are properly socially distanced. Additionally, their menu and ordering process is completely online, which allows for proper social distancing. I was a bit bummed they were out of the sour when I went, but there are still plenty of options available. The patio is nice, I wish there was music playing but not a deal breaker. Trillium is in a great area as well and it is easy to bounce around other places if you want! It is located right next to Timeout Market if you get hungry! Overpriced. Was there yesterday for lunch. Ordered the seafood chowder and the waitress explained that it was not a creamy chowder. I ordered it anyway. It was very watery and without much flavor. I asked for some bread which the waitress brought. There were 1 and 1/2 pieces of toasted bread. I put some in the chowder to soak up the broth but it did not change the taste or consistency very much. The chowder was not hot enough and really was not very tasty. The waitress was very nice and very prompt. The real kicker was when I got the bill and was charged $2.00 for the side of bread. I paid the total bill for four of us which was about $110.and did leave a $20. tip. Would never go back. read more

Incredible imperial stouts--got the Niyok and Tiramisu on tap. Trillium's gorgeous imperial stouts often sell out online within a day or two, and then they're often sell out on site, so we're lucky to have them nearby so we can grab the latest release. We even managed to snag a bottle of Adjunction Junction this time! These stouts are often in the dessert category...absolute perfection for us...super dark, decadently nutty, chocolatey, caramelly, etc, with slight to no bitter and a nice rich & creamy mouthfeel. Often barrel aged and high ABV, which only adds to the depth of flavor. We also love their oenobiers, which are funky and fruity and there always seems to be a new one on tap. Visited Trillium Brewing Fenway with friends on Sunday afternoon. Trillium clearly knows what they are doing when it comes to beer, however, they haven't find the best way to use this specific space yet. Quality: Trillium has established themselves as one of, if not the, top breweries in Boston and they deserve the strong reputation. They are putting out lots of beers that are popular with the masses, but also nearly as many that are unique and layered. We visited the Fenway location and I tried Trailside, DDH Stillings St., Vanilla PM Dawn, and BA Affogato. All great beers. I think Vanilla PM Dawn was my favorite, just because of how well they utilized the coffee flavor, but I would not hesitate to order any of the beers again. They also have a small snack menu, but located next door is a food hall, so plenty of food options abound. Quantity: Pour sizes are clearly labeled on the menu and are related to the style of beer. Value: $7-$13 for a Draft Pour. Ambiance: The Trillium Brewing Fenway location is just a few blocks from Fenway Stadium in Boston. The brewery is a small little building next to a massive food hall. The inside area of the brewery is relatively tiny, with an a bar that splits inside and outside and some seating around high-tops. Outside they have a patio area, where most of the guests were standing. They usually have a grassy area with additional chairs, but it appeared they were shifting into winter-mode, so they condensed the outdoor space, which was not ideal on a beautiful day. Crowd: A good sized crowd on a pleasant Sunday afternoon. A little more squeezed together as the normal lawn area was closed off. More children than I expected running around. Service: Easygoing and efficient bartenders. The bar setup is a little strange, but they managed to navigate it well. Parking: Limited paid street parking in the area as well as some parking garages. read more

tldr: Staff member poured my drink out even though I was almost done because I was seated outside. This is two stars instead of one because the venue is great, the bartender was nice, and it seems like a friendly atmosphere. This review also isn't aimed at the staff member who poured my drink out, because I know he was just doing his job. This is for the manager. You need better signage on what you can and cannot drink outside. At any other venue or restaurant that I've been to that knows what they're doing, any drink on the menu is allowed within the parameters of the venue. This is also just for the manager because the staff member who approached me was sympathetic and knew I was nearly done with my drink. I also asked if just pouring it into a cup would help, he said he would check and it was under your direction to have it poured out. Make it make sense. There are a lot of places to get happy hour in this area, if you valued your customers, better indicate what you can and cannot drink within the fence of that outdoor area. Or, because there's poor signage right now, at least put the drink into a cup or offer a drink on the house for mishaps like this. The fact that it's already protocol to just pour it out and embarrass your customers is a problem. read more

The only knock against these folks is that their menu does not appear to be kept up to date online - so I arrived planning on ordering a couple of beers that were no longer available. That having been said, lets get into it - placed an order the morning of my visit for some stuff to pick up: including a new release. Told it'll be available around noon when they open, so I get there right at noon - walk in and unfortunately the truck hasn't arrived yet with the new drop. They do offer to refund me if I don't want to wait, but I'm always up for an excuse to try beers from a brewery of this caliber. Grab a beer - looking out over the ice skating rink they have setup, truly a beautiful area to have a beer or two. Staff is friendly. Drink a triple IPA and a berliner weisse (I don't normally like weisses but if they have the apple cider berliner, try it - you'll be missing out if you don't). Hour later my to-go order arrives, pack it up and head on out. Will definitely be back - while I rank some other local breweries a little higher based on the variety of beers available (trillium had fewer taps and a VERY IPA/PA heavy set of offerings) I will absolutely come on back to trillium. p.s. food court next door is an excellent option for a quick meal to go as well read more

Stopped by to try their beer before heading to Fenway. This place has an indoor and outdoor section and music is playing on the background, a very nice place to hangout with friends. Escape Plan was our favorite beer out of their menu. It is a sour fruity beer. If you like sour, this a must try-. This place is great to hangout before a game. You are also welcomed to bring your own food. Conveniently time out market is right in front so you can grab some good food and head over for a great beer. Awesome ambiance as well. There is a parking lot on Fuller St. where if parked under three hours, they will reduce the fee to just $10! read more
