I got my usual flight to start that included 2 hazy IPA's, a pale ale, and a blonde. The beer types were pretty standard. I didn't see anything crazy, but all were solid to really good. My favorite was the One IPA to Rule them all (hazy). For lunch the lady friend and I split a French Fries flight which is parmesan fries with 3 different dipping sauces. What a great idea. One of the sauces was a cilantro ranch (delish) and the other 2 appeared to be something similar to Raisin' Cane's sauce (I don't like mayo so I didn't try). The fries were a little soggy though. I also got an order of Gochujang and lime sauced wings. These were phenomenal! The best wings I have had in a long time, maybe ever! Holy Shit, I want to go back to Boston just to eat these again. Cool atmosphere, very nice bartenders, very good beer and great wings!

The atmosphere is definitely loud, but it has a great, lively energy that makes for a fun night out. One of the best parts about this brewery is that they distill their own spirits, so you have plenty of great options even if you aren't in the mood for beer. They don't offer traditional flights, but you can ask for two half-pours (about 5 oz each) to try a couple of different things. Here is what we tried: Out of This World: This mixed drink tasted like an upscale mai tai. It was beautifully cloudy and made with real passion fruit puree. Delicious! Coffee Pot & Kettle Stout: Absolute creamy goodness. This was my personal favorite, though I usually lean toward stouts anyway. Fort Point IPA (with Citra): My husband is the big IPA lover, and I usually attempt a taste with a lot of apprehension since I don't care for super hoppy beers. However, this one was surprisingly good! It felt more like a fruity, juicy hazy IPA. The listed pine notes were very subtle and gave it a really nice, balanced finish.

I would expect the outdoor space would come in handy once the weather warms up. Conveniently located right off of Seaport Blvd. surrounded by some other good food and dessert options. Lots of parks in the area, including Fan Pier Park, which offers some spectaculay views of the Boston Skyline...particularly after dark. Metered Street Parking was actually manageable, especially in the later post 6-pm midweek hours in the Fort Hill Square Area. Meters are in effect through 8pm with a 2-hour maximum, so if you arrive after 6pm and feed the meter until 8pm, you are all set for the night! The South Station (Red) T Station is also nearby. Both options are a short walk to Fan Pier Park. There are also lots of garages available in the immediate area as well.

I started off with a flight and picking only 4 beers was a difficult decision. They provide a wide variety of different types of beer for any type of beer lover. After my flight, I ordered a pint of the classic Harpoon IPA. All 5 beers that I tried tasted excellent. They have a food menu with pretzels, pizza, and salads. The service is very quick and friendly. The brewery is very large and can accommodate large groups of people.

It's a cool setup for grabbing drinks with friends and spending a couple of hours. The one thing that was noticeably missing was music. With the rooftop, multiple floors, and overall atmosphere, some good background music would have added a lot of energy and made the experience even better. Overall, great beer selection, decent food, cool three-floor layout, and an excellent rooftop vibe. Add some music and this place could easily move up another notch.

The staff were very friendly and even gave us a few tasters of beer so we could find the perfect one -- such a nice touch! The beer was excellent, the vibes were great, and the setting couldn't be better -- right in the heart of Boston with beautiful views of the Boston Harbor Hotel and its large American flag. Such a fun, laid-back atmosphere. We're so glad we got to experience it before the season ended, and we'll definitely be back next time we're in Boston!

On the particular day we visited, they were understaffed and were only offering bar service which was fine with us. We got a few of their beers which were all excellent. The Belgian Waffles truly had an end taste of maple syrup. The lemon shandy is very dry and slightly sour. We got the arancini which were SO good. We also got the truffle fries which were great. We got the Shifty, Forager, and blazin bird pizzas. All of them were really good in their own ways. The Blazin Bird was a popular one at the table.

The tour ends with more tastes in a tasting room. What is there not to like! Easy walk to public transit. No driving necessary.
