Once we got our order, we never got our waters refilled and only were checked on to see if we'd want more alcohol. The menu was alright, though a bit basic. Food tasted fine. Presentation was basic and the little cup of fries seems stingy and unnecessary when there's already a tray. The alcohol was fine. I was pleased they had cocktails in a can (they have a distillery with a wide variety of spirits). No ciders though. The beer selection was good although the menu on the wall was not updated. It would've been good if we could just order from the wall but apparently the drafts and to-go menus are not updated. Overall very subpar service and unwelcoming pretentious vibes. Would not return.

So, while I didn't get to visit the actual brewery, this tap room in the heart of downtown was second best. When you arrive, there is a gatekeeper checking ID's like I am about to go into a nightclub with glowsticks just right off the campus of some college. You even get a stamp on your hand. Beer and food were to be ordered at the bar. I asked the bartender if the outdoor patio was open and he rolled his eyes and pointed at a sign that said upstairs was closed. Sorry I missed it when going through the TSA precheck line. I then asked about flights and he looked annoyed again. I got one anyway. Sorry if you have to pour 4 mini beers instead of 1 big one. Life is tough. Anyway, the beer was solid, and glad I got to try 4 new things that I haven't had. I wish the upstairs patio would have been open as it was 71 degrees and sunny. It's not like they had servers so I can't think of a reason to cattle us all together.

Our tour guide (I believe Eric) was funny and charming. Well worth learning the history of this brewery. Definitely a must do when visiting Boston. Nice staff and there is a gift shop here too. Plenty of their craft beers and special brews to choose from. Did a few beer flights, drank more than a few pints, and called an Uber to get back to the hotel later on, so worth it. A must visit when in Boston, especially if you enjoy good beer.

I wish we knew that because we didn't see any signage to indicate where to order what. We also saw a lot of people sitting at the bar eating and drinking coffee, so it took a little bit to find a spot at the bar just to have a drink. I think the bar should be reserved for those looking to have a beer. A positive though is that the beer tasty-- light and refreshing. I thought some of the flavors were really creative. I got my usual flight to start that included 2 hazy IPA's, a pale ale, and a blonde. The beer types were pretty standard. I didn't see anything crazy, but all were solid to really good. My favorite was the One IPA to Rule them all (hazy). For lunch the lady friend and I split a French Fries flight which is parmesan fries with 3 different dipping sauces. What a great idea. One of the sauces was a cilantro ranch (delish) and the other 2 appeared to be something similar to Raisin' Cane's sauce (I don't like mayo so I didn't try). The fries were a little soggy though. I also got an order of Gochujang and lime sauced wings. These were phenomenal! The best wings I have had in a long time, maybe ever! Holy Shit, I want to go back to Boston just to eat these again.
