My wife and I stopped at Reme's for the 1st time and had dinner. We had meant to stop before but kept forgetting. It's not well advertised. But I'm so glad we finally made it there. The food was delicious! I had the ham/cheese omelet with home fries (fried potatoes) and toast. The omelet was huge, at least 4 eggs and cooked perfectly. The potatoes were non-greasy and had a great flavor. It's obvious they use a top quality cooking oil. The toast, well, toast is toast. My wife ordered the tenderloin deluxe and loved it. It was also huge and meaty. Her onion rings were also delicious (I sampled). Again, sandwich and rings were crispy without being greasy and had great flavor. She also had their cream of broccoli soup, quite tasty. You could tell it was homemade (again, I sampled). We went there between lunch and dinner hours and it was not busy. Semi new joint next to BW-3 called Reme's. The wait staff is very friendly and on top of everything. As for the food, the biscuits and gravy was alright. Just a little to much pepper that kinda masked the sausage. The eggs where cooked to order and the potatoes where good. The omelet was huge and full of ham and cheese. The pancakes where very tasty. Food was not good... Extra cheese omelette was a scrambled egg folded over a chunk of cheese with 2 slices of American cheese on top. None of it was melted. Hair in my omelette... It was taken off of my bill. Requested to move to a booth being serviced by a waitress to get out of the front door draft... 3 were available and we were refused. I ate here once not too long after it opened, and it was just meh. I can't really remember what we had, but my husband and I both agreed it was just ok. We were talking tonight and was trying to think if there were any pizza places within a 20 mile radius we hadn't tried. We're from IL originally and you just can't find good pizza in the Indy area AND WE MISS IT! He remembered that Reme's had advertised pizza but I was kinda skeptical. There's quite a bit of stuff on the menu and I didn't wan't to put so many eggs in the basket of a restaurant who had pizza as 'one' item and not as 'the' item. However, another Yelper from the Chi-town area wrote a fairly persuasive review, so I figured what the heck. It's not your stereotypical Chicago style- it's tavern style. Now, if they could make a legit Chicago Style deep dish I'd probably come here every day. I go to Roselli's up in Carmel to get that fix (side note: It's not a 10/10 but they make a pretty decent pie if that's your style). The first thing I noticed is that the box was pretty heavy. We got only pepperoni on it, so not a ton of toppings, but the cheese and pepperoni were plentiful! As an app, we got the bosco stix. They come with queso. I would have preferred nacho, but oh well. They appear to be fried and not baked. I probably wouldn't get them again. The crust, cheese, and pepperoni flavor and consistency was spot-on. The sauce was a little too "tomato-y" for me. I'd personally prefer it to be a bit sweeter, but it was still good. Overall, I'd call this our new favorite pizza place in Plainfield. read more

Nice mom & pop type restaurant. Inviting staff, might need some more help...there looked to be only 2 waitresses and when we first arrived it wasn't busy, but half way through our visit it became completely full. Food was decent, needed seasoning and the only thing I wasn't fond of was the onions in my skillet...they were not cooked completely so they were extremely overpowering to the dish, I picked them out. I would get it again, without onions next time. I got the pancakes on the side that came with it & they were actually very good, which I am not a huge fan of pancakes but ate both! Large portion so I brought half of it home. I would go back, maybe lunch/dinner just to try something else out. read more

5 stars for real. We are from Chicagoland and its cut right, proper 3 day crust, fennel sausage placed raw and cooked to perfection... the works. This is what real Chicago tavern style pizza tastes like. We got the sausage and pepperoni, as is standard for a first try Inside was nice, they have the good Mexican Coca-Cola to go with it. We got it for carryout. This pizza for Chicagoland is probably an 8.5 out of 10 for super nitpicky reasons (mostly because its not my neighborhoods exact recipe) , but reminds me of all the good taverns. This pizza for Plainfield and Indianapolis its a 12 or 13. High quality ingredients and blows the Chicago franchise in downtown Indy out of the water, as most real Chicago pizza places do :D I recommend everyone in town try it at least once, there is nothing even close to this in town (the one that uses chicago in its name is nothing you would get up north at all). I don't think you will be disappointed in the slightest... maybe with enough business we can start getting delivery :) I am told they serve other food. 5/5 read more

My son and I had a Saturday lunch in Reme's and WOW, it was fantastic. The spinach bacon soup was wonderful. I ordered a Club Sandwich and it was huge. My son ordered the onion rings, they were nicely prepared and large. He loved them. I really like the French fries. In a time when you can get fries in about every restaurant and fast food drive thru , these fries were EXCELLENT! Needless to say, we took food home with us. We moved to Plainfield from the Chicago area and have been constantly disappointed with the pizza options and all the money we wasted trying many, too many sub par pizza places. Reme's was the best pizza we have had since moving here and we will be regulars. If you haven't been, do yourself a favor and go. All the ingredients are fresh, noting frozen, or canned. Not only is the pizza(only thing we have tried this far) delicious, the owners are so personable. It so refreshing to have pizza with amazing flavor. The food was cold the steak was inedible soft drinks were flat OJ was warm all sent back my girlfriend ate two eggs and had a cup of coffee and they still charged me $30 for everything that was sent back!!!! I wish we'd been able to eat in at the restaurant but because of COVID19 precautions we had to order takeout. The staff was friendly and our food was ready and waiting for us when we arrived. I especially enjoyed the skillet I ordered. It was LOADED with vegetables, meat and potatoes and just the right amount of spice. My husband and son both ordered the Manhattan and loved it.
