Food was pretty decent average breakfast food. I think we were all good with what we ordered. A couple Meateaters omelets , 1/2 biscuits and gravy with French toast. A breakfast platter with sausage patties. Meateaters Skillet. I wish you could just sub fruit for the bread side. I didn't want bread because of cutting back on carbs. Got charged extra for fruit side. Gravy was ok. Not great not bad. Didn't taste homemade. Not sure we'd venture this way again. Nothing really bad. Just nothing really memorable. Waze puts the address out by the highway. So we had slightly a hard time finding it.

    Monte Cristo Deluxe

Hidden gem in Plainfield. Food is made with fresh ingredients. I had the Monte Cristo served with sidewinder fries and cup of chicken noodle soup. First, the soup was absolutely made in house and delicious. The Monte Cristo was authentic with ham, turkey on signature French toast. If you haven't been, I recommend eating at this reasonable priced, locally owned, quality food restaurant.

Stopped here for breakfast while in town for the weekend. Great customer service and food was delicious. I had to Google what a sidewinder was and got them with my patty melt. My mom had a basic bacon and egg breakfast which she raved about and she loved the coffee. Such a comfortable joint to be in, like grandma's house.

Saturday breakfast with a bit of friendly sass. Got into Indy late last night for Mother's Day weekend and needed a place for breakfast. This was worth the 15ish minute detour to get here from the Airport Delta Hotel. You will not go hungry here, the portions are huge and the food was well prepared. The Wife liked her country skillet and I enjoyed an omelette. The only negative would be that the shredded potatoes on my plate were way under seasoned, past that, everything was tip top.

I came to Remes on a Sunday with my friend Rene. When I got there I said isn't it nice a restaurant is named after you. She said, "Denise it's Reme"s not Rene's". I thought that was funny. Anyway, I ordered an egg omelet with spinach and bacon. The eggs were fluffy and it was a good size. The hashbrowns were cooked perfectly. I ordered a side of salsa and it was amazing not to spicy, but with a little spice. Definitely homemade, it was so good I wish they sold it. Instead of toast I got French toast as my side. My friend ordered a crispy chicken salad. The salad was huge you could feed 3 people that salad all by itself. The staff was very nice, and efficient. I think it is a family owned business. I will be back it was so yummy. French Toast

I recently stopped in foe lunch at Remes as I saw they had a broad menu with choices that should work for all my family members. I ended ip getting the breakfast chopped steak and eggs with french toast. I seldom go out for breakfast but this seemed like a decent lunch choice and I was gladd I tried it. The chopped steak was flavorful and well seasoned. The french toast was excellent too. I gave the eggs to my wife and traded a piece of french toast with my son for two pieces of his pizza. I was surprised to find pizza that was homemade at a breakfast place but it was pretty good too. The crust was good and the cheese plentiful. The service was excellent. We had a good lunch and I was full for the rest of the day.

    That French toast though!!

Yummmmmmmmy!!!! Chosen off Yelp for breakfast while we were in town and it didn't disappoint! Everything was cooked to perfection and the service and hospitality was so great. We ordered chicken fried steak, and 2 egg OE w/bac and HB (yes I was a server). The egg breakfasts come with your choice of toast, pancakes or French toast. I needed a little sweet with my savory so chose the French toast and it was literally the best EVER! Such great flavor with an outside crust that almost made it seem deep fried. It was absolutely spectacular! And my husbands chicken fried steak.... OMG! He's picky and makes the best, but this rivaled for sure. The breading and gravy was the star of the show. I highly recommend this place for your breakfast cravings!

We came here for dinner last night anxious to try a new restaurant that is not a chain. The menu has a large variety including breakfast all day, burgers, club sandwiches. also pizza, Italian and a few Mexican items. In addition there were specials, last night was chicken Parmesan and prime rib. It was difficult to chose given so many options. We both choose hot sandwiches mine was beef my son chose turkey. Our meals were served with a cup of soup which cane out first. Last night was cream of asparagus which was really good especially on a cold dreary evening. Dinner was delicious comfort food. The portions were large so much so we took left overs home. On the way out I glanced over at another table they chose the chicken Parmesan and pizza both looked so good. Next time I'd like to try the breakfast there were skillets and all the traditional breakfast favorites.

I went tonight and got a pizza and bosco sticks. They were both very good. The pizza had lot's of topping the only thing I seen wrong it could have used a little more sauce. They have a big menu and I would like to try the rest of.

    Louisiana skillet!

Absolutely loved this quaint little breakfast spot! It is in a plaza, next to bdubs in Plainfield. When you walk in the restaurant, its nothing fancy. Its kind of like a hometown diner type feel. I believe they are more known for breakfast, so we came in for a brunch one Sunday. Booze is not available here, so unfortunately no mimosas with it! I ordered the Louisiana skillet, which came with andouille sausage, mushrooms, peppers, onions, potatoes, and 3 eggs on top. This skillet was FIRE. Fire as in so delicious that I was super upset with myself for waiting so long to try this place. My spouse got the banana crepes and biscuits and gravy, and those were wonderful as well. I cant speak for the other menu items, but if youre craving a fabulous breakfast skillet, try this place out! Even if not, I definitely recommend trying it. We will be back!!

I'd been curious about Pizzaville every since I passed it on the way out to my parents' home in…read morePutnam County. Located on the western end of Avon, Pizzaville is in a strip center with Parlor Doughnuts in the parking lot, Hotcakes Emporium a handful of storefronts down and a couple other cool storefronts. In case it's not obvious, Pizzaville specializes in pizza. They offer dine-in, carry-out, and delivery in select areas. They also cater special events. One of the things I noticed was large signage indicating a lunch buffet during the week ($11.99). There's accessible parking almost directly in front. The main entrance offers a weird ramp up to the door - despite having a ramp, I'd actually say it's not accessible because the ramp is at such a weird angle. I was able to get in, however, it took effort. It's much easier if you approach it from the parking lot rather than the sidewalk. Once you enter, you arrive at the ordering spot. The dining room is to your left. The decor is simple yet clean. As I recall, they serve Coke products. They do have Gold Peak Unsweetened Iced Tea in the fountain. They do also have some canned/bottled offerings. While I arrived on a weekend (no buffet), there was a $6.99 special that included a mini-pizza up to 3-toppings and a fountain drink. The prices can definitely go up, though I found pricing quite fair and definitely quite good. They have a handful of sides - I was tempted by breadsticks, but they are $5.99. I read a couple reviews indicating it's a pretty big serving - so, I held off this time. I ordered a mini-pizza with sausage and pepperoni along with my fountain drink. They were friendly and offered help. The mini-pizza is basically a "personal" pizza and it's on the smaller side. I was pleased with it and would easily order it again. I believe there's a side room you can reserve. There's single user bathrooms with grab bars. I can't quite go to a 5-star here. I enjoyed the meal immensely and will easily return. This is a solid 4-star experience with good quality and good value. I arrived late in the lunch hour - business was pretty light, though it was steady. I'm enjoying my journey through Hendricks and Putnam County. While it was initiated by a sad experience, it's introducing me to the communities of Avon, Danville, and Coatesville and I'm really enjoying that. If you're looking for a new pizza buffet experience, this is a solid one to try from Monday-Friday during lunch. Otherwise, they still have great specials and for those on a budget you can eat for under ten bucks by using specials.

Every meal seems a little lacking and leaves you wanting a little bit more but the atmosphere and staff are nice which helps to balance the disappointment. We ordered the bruschetta as our appetizer, it was enjoyable but more olive forward than we were expecting. I ordered the arugula salad which did say it had spinach in it. However, it was a mainly spinach salad. I opted to add chicken to it and ask our waitress if the chicken was seasoned and worth the ad and she assured me that it was. Unfortunately it was not seasoned and it was very bland reminding me of the pre-packaged chicken pockets you can buy at Costco. Had I known I wouldn't have added it as it did not add anything to the salad. My friend really wanted the brussel sprout salad and apparently they did not have brussel sprouts so it was only romaine salad so she opted for a pasta dish instead. We appreciated our waitress giving us the heads up and confirming that she still wanted the salad with the changes that would be made to it. We ended the evening by sharing a tiramisu for her birthday along with an espresso martini. The dessert options were nice, but the espresso martini wasn't traditional; it was more Baileys-forward than expected. Overall, it's a decent restaurant for a casual meal but it hasn't offered anything that would make us eager to return or crave another visit.
