Rellis was great! Their draft beer selection was pretty thorough but not so big i got overwhelmed. The ambiance was a family owned sports bar feel packed with lot of spartan fans! All of our main meals, fettuccine, grinder and antipasto salad were devoured by all. Notably, the antipasto salad was well ratioed with ingredients to salad. I ordered onion rings and they were bit under done and I was hoping for some dessert. Overall I'll be back to Rellis next time I visit! read more

Relli's is basically another no-name bar in another no-name town. Common for the Midwest, it tries to straddle sports bar and homemade Italian while also having a section on the menu for Mexican food, and promptly fails at all three. The service is pretty good but the food is generally poor. Turkey wraps which use deli meats, frozen prepackaged crusts for pizza (you know, just like grandma used to make), plastic cups for draft beer. And a seemingly endless fruit fly problem. I give Relli's 2 stars for the friendly service and the one exception on their otherwise stale menu: the Cajun tacos. As you'd expect from any local watering hole void of charm or character, Relli's is a hotspot for the town's folk. Well...it's hard not to be when it's the only restaurant in town open after 8pm. Come to witness the surrounded area's best stumble into the bar half drunk already after crashing into the dumpster across the street, ready to spend yet another night trying to forget that at one point in life they had dreams and aspirations. You'll note the high rating and say, how can this be? Well DeWitt is one of those places where a lot of people never make it out and eventually believe it foolish to consider there could be any place better. Had a Rellis grinder. Not what I expected. I thought I'd was ordering a grinder not a pizza! When it came it was a folded over pizza! I wanted a sandwich. I wish they would have advertised it as a folded over pizza. I would have preferred a bread type sandwich. Won't be ordering that again. read more

Not a bad place at all. I've eaten here a few times and I really like some food and really don't like other. Good- Crackfries, Bread Knots, Grinders, salads, brats. Not good- Cajun pasta, huge portion but not even slightly good or Cajun. The fried chicken was not any good either. (Maybe it was an off night. The atmosphere is pretty great in the summer they roll the doors up for great outdoor seating. Good for family's or just as a bar. Staff has always been really friendly. We will go back. read more

Simply amazing food and great atmosphere. I love the half order of nachos, which feeds 2 people easily. The home made bread and garlic knots are over the top. The grinders are huge and taste great. I love the calzone's as well. The other Italian dishes are good, with the exception of the spaghetti, which seems more like store bought sauce than typical Italian restaurant sauce. Friends seem to enjoy going here when I bring them for the first time. It's probably the best restaurant in DeWitt, both for the amount of delicious food and for the reasonable prices. Went there today with five other guys. I ordered the ham grinder. I agree with Rodney's post...it was a folded over piece of pizza and mine was burnt. Two other guys ordered bone-in wings. We couldn't believe how small they were! One of them commented that they probably got them from a hummingbird! Beware, if you order wings plan on going home hungry and disappointed! Lastly, one of the guys ordered an IPA and found it to be very flat tasting. The waitress returned with another one and it too was flat. The plate of nachos one guy had did look good as did a burger. So I'll start this off with the food was great. I will also start this off that I work in customer service so I may have high standards. We spent roughly 2 hours at the restaurant and only about 30 minutes of that was eating. Our server got our order, took the menus and left, but never once came to check on us, refill our water, ask how the food is etc. The server didn't introduce herself, or have any bearing on how to be a good host. We ordered two salads, and it took them roughly 45 mins to bring them out, and it was pretty slow at the restaurant. Each time they brought out food, it wasn't the server. After we finished eating, we had to seek out a server around 20 mins later to get our check. We still tipped roughly 20%, but I wish it would have gone to the kitchen staff instead. Overall, I will not be coming back to this place. Especially to enjoy a meal on date night. It's one thing to be able to cook a meal, it's another thing to pay $30 for a meal but have no service whatsoever. read more

Consistent bad experience whenever we give Rellis a chance. I want to support Rellis and love a local business, but every time I go there it's a bad experience. They try hard, but it's just... meh. I've had their cheese bread (pizza crust with cheese on it) and it ain't great. Their fried bar fare tastes pretty much like everybody else's, which means it's probably from Sysco, like everybody else's. I finally tried their pizza this weekend after hearing people rave about it. We ordered the meat lovers and the bread knots. First, the bread knots were just that... bread in knots. No flavor, no butter, no garlic, no nothing. I ate one and threw out the rest. The pizza looked promising, but it wasn't. I love crust; when everybody else throws out the crust, I eat it. This crust was dry and yeasty. There must have been 3 pounds of meat on this pizza. I can't believe I'm saying this, but there was TOO MUCH MEAT. Seriously, you could barely see the cheese, which may have been intentional as they barely used any cheese, and there was almost no sauce. The amount of meat combined with the lack of sauce and cheese made it taste like a piece of dry bread with a stack of meat on it. read more

We ended up leaving and coming back and the bartender was extremely rude when we returned to pick the order up. he tried to argue with me that a BLT sandwhich with a gluten free bun wasn't on the menu.... they gave us a gluten free blt PIZZA! yes that is on the menu but not what we ordered. We came in for dinner last Wednesday night. There were 13 of us, which included six kids. We had four separate checks for the four families. Unfortunately, they "lost" our ticket. This was discovered after waiting ~40 minutes and the other nine receiving their food (and asking, once, if ours was on its way). The pizza wasn't great (we ordered the House Special). Having to sit there, hungry, watching everyone else eat sucked (especially after having been told it was coming). I give them four stars because they gave us our meal free. In my opinion, that's what they _should_ do. Without hesitation. In fact, this is the least they should do: and they did it. For that, I can look past this mistake and give them another try. Not everyone gives good customer service these days (hello Little Caesars on Old U.S. 27 for a six-dollar pizza that was not as promised...). THAT is why I appreciate Relli's. My friend's family likes going to this place so I've been several times. I've never had food at this place that was any good. Food is always overly salty. They have a wide variety of food options listed on their menu. I think they should shorten the menu and focus on improving food quality. Their alcoholic beverages are pretty good, though. read more

I came in for a late lunch today and sat at the bar for a good five minutes. Both servers and the bartender didn't bother to acknowledge me - not a "hello" or "would you like a menu", not even eye contact and a smile. As I passed one of the servers on my way out he didn't acknowledge me then either. I've eaten here before, and was less than impressed with the food, but it's a small town "sports bar" so the bar was set pretty low. A great way to ensure no one ever comes back again is to treat your patrons as if they don't even exist. read more

I can't comment on the food because no one came to greet us and the bartender was on her phone and ignored us, which resulted in us walking out. We came in on a Friday to grab lunch and it took us a while to find a clean table to seat ourselves. There were customers in two booths and about five dirty tables waited to be cleaned. After waiting for over five minutes and getting up to try and find a server and get the bartenders attention, which didn't work, we decided to take our business to Mancino's- which was an excellent choice by the way. read more

I only eat lunch during the week so that's all I can comment on. Generally, I get food and eat in an hour or less. Lunch specials menu is fairly large, everything I've ordered off of it has been really tasty and the prices are incredible. I recommend the spaghetti with (homemade) meatballs, fettuccine with chicken (additional $1), and penne with cream sauce with meatballs (additional $1) because it's a ton of food and obviously tastes great. All pasta dishes comes with homemade, fresh baked bread that'll knock your socks off. They're homemade Italian dressing will too. In fact, I think they should start bottling it and get out of the restaurant biz because it's so good. Oh yeah, Taco Tuesday's sounds ridiculous for an Italian restaurant but they pull it off. read more

Food is good. Staff is friendly. Tend to be slow, husband and I waited 45 minutes for pre dinner salad, after nicely commenting we were still waiting. Never got any salad or meal, left after the 45 minute wait. It's a little loud in there. This establishment is DeWitt's equivalent of the gathering place on the 70's/80's TV show Cheers. Anyone who is anybody in D-town can frequently be found here enjoying the comradeship of fellow "Dewittiots". It is unfortunate that the service is usually slow, but very friendly; the pizza orders seldom arrive prepared the way they were ordered; and when there is a mistake on your bill, the owner does not make th appropriate adjustments. Still, being one of 2 local places where you can go out and have a beer or two with friends, it is one of my favorite places in DeWitt. Just wish the owner would appreciate the clientele more!! I adore Relli's!! Service is wonderful. Food is like visiting your Grandma's home for Sunday dinner. My favorites are the steak salad and, of course, spaghetti & meatballs.
