My 2011 Honda CRV battery maintenance light went on, but I just bought a brand-new battery, and thought nothing of it, and continued driving. Going home, multiple warning lights was going off, including air bag, brake lights, almost like Christmas tree lights. I started fricking out, and then the driver's side window does not open. I drove home safe and parked in the garage. Later, when I was going out, it was completely dead. I managed to jump start it, and it was fine. Not too long afterwards, it died completely. I normally to go to a mechanic shop but wanted to try something else. I went found on yelp, a mobile mechanic, with high reviews. As usual, yelp algorithm, gives three mechanics, but went to take my chance on Reliable Mobile Mechanic. I got in touch with Branden, and explained my situation. He was able to diagnose the problem, and fixed my car faster than I expected. His rates are very competive, and reasonable. If I went to a brick and motar shop, I would have to pay overhead for their rent, etc...In the end, I am glad, I used Branden, and will use him again for future car repairs. I've used Branden a couple of times now and I have never been disappointed. For me the greatest value is my time - time I would usually spend shuttling back and forth to and from the repair shop - that I no longer need to do. Top this with the very fair prices and the confidence that you are getting quality work done - well, you just can't beat it. This time Branden was able to get the parts on my brakes warrantied so I only had to pay for labor! At 2 days before Christmas you can just imagine what a relief this was. Five stars! Highly recommend! My car started to wig out and the dashboard was blanking out. The A/C turned off too. All of this while I was driving on the H-1 Freeway. Fortunately, pulled up in my driveway and the car totally died. Like no nothing, no clicking when trying to restart. Total dead. Can't recommend Branden enough. He was very thorough and explained everything he was doing. He has a 5K diagnostic tool that pinpointed the issue my car had, from there Branden fixed the issue within 20 minutes. It was fairly cheap as far as mechanics go. Without warning my husband's car battery died. We tried jumping from a neighbor's car, didn't work. Branden was able to come out the next morning, with a new battery, tested both battery and alternator. All we needed was new battery. Called reliable mobile mechanics,Brandon returned my call. I told him my problem with my '02 f150 truck. It made just a click sound when turning the key to start it. I told Brandon I replaced my starter,alternator,battery,starter relay/solenoid,fuses in junction boxes and checked the ground wires. Still it didn't work? Brandon diagnosed it and told me it was a bad starter. I returned that new starter back because i had a warranty on it,it also was a refurbished one,told that shop it was bad I want a brand new starter because i only used it for one day, lol. Hands down to these guys! I don't even know we're to begin. lol. My car wouldn't start so I called my insurance to get a tow guy to come jump start my car, he said it wasn't holding a charge so it could be my battery or my alternator. When I got to my husbands job it died out a second time so he ended up jumping my car with his truck. I bought me a new battery only to find out it still wasn't charging because I use my car daily for everything I couldn't not run it so I ended up buying a refurbished alternator but couldn't find anyone to install it then I came across reliable mobile mechanic on Facebook I gave them a call and I was on the phone with Chad within a matter of seconds! I told him if he could install it for me and he not only told me he couldn't (which I was fine with) but why he couldn't, he had explained to me so much and more and that the place I got the alternator from wasn't really good and that if I went through him not only will have the cheapest quote on replacing my alternator but the part will cost less than what I paid for I felt really confident about him. The sayings true, you get what you paid for. I really felt at ease I didn't feel pressured or anything. Because he was busy and I wanted it done right away he had to ask his other mechanic (Brandon) if he was able to make it if not he would've seen me first thing the next morning but his other guy was able to see me after all and within an half hour Brandon called me to let me know he was on his way, he asked me a few questions about what was going on to give him and idea of what was going on prior since I mentioned that no lights was on not even my battery light. Brandon got here about 1140am tested to see if it was anything else but the alternator Chad told me it could be a number of reasons worse case scenario it will be the alternator since it costed more, turns out it was defiantly the alternator. He started working on it right away, because I had my kids I only checked on him so often but he will always show me what he's done and what he's going to do next, he did run in to a problem we're a bolt was so bad he didn't want to strip it anymore than it already was he told me he would have to call Chad to come down and help him and the next thing I knew Chad was downstairs, he was explaining the problem they did have a slight issue getting the old alternator out, because I have an oil leak that I don't know we're it's coming from Chad showed me my old alternator covered with oil and explained what happens when it leaks through and how bad it can affect it. The year and the miles took them by surprise since it is a '03 with 82k miles on it but you can't predict what's gonna happen. Brandon didn't finish till a little after 7pm because he had to replace a belt and put everything back on. I felt so bad but he kept reassuring me that sometimes they got the cars that makes it easy and sometimes they got the one like mines with one thing after the other. Lol he did manage to check up the next day and see how the car running after which was awesome! I can go on and on but I really had the best experience ever!! I will defiantly be calling them for all my future repair needs because theirs no one else I trust, so much Aloha here & it's really hard to find that! The mechanic, Charles, was extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. This guy gets a mega thumbs up from me! 5/5 The inspection only took about 45 minutes and was able to not only diagnose all known issues, but troubleshoot them as well without prior knowledge. Charles found the leaking oil pan gasket (which was a known issue at the time) and identified the cause of the leaking. Apparently, an incompatible sealant was used when the car last went in for service. His assessment of the associated costs for repairs/parts were also right on the money. He gave prices for spark plugs & break pads on the spot. I checked before writing this review and they were spot on. Extremely impressive! At the end of the inspection, transaction was clean and simple. No shady business. He even offered me a ride since it was raining. Highly, highly recommend to anyone looking for a mobile mechanic. Two words....highly recommended. First time I've used these gentlemen's services. Branden responded quickly by phone and gave me a quote on replacing drive belts on my Nissan Maxima. Charles showed up right on time and quickly found something previous mobile mechanic had missed....harmonic balancer also needed replacement (any idea what that is? Me neither!). Charles clearly explained what the part was, why it was defective, and the consequences should it come apart while driving (severe engine damage due to very high RPMs). Even though he had another job to go to, I asked Charles if he could also run his engine diagnostic tool to evaluate my "check engine" light. He found the issue in minutes and cleared the trouble codes. So....harmonic balancer and drive belts replaced along with a leaking camshaft sensor for $50 less than previous mobile mechanic wanted just to replace the belts.
