If you need some auto maintenance or repair done, I would highly recommend Kris with A Shore Fix. Kris was highly communicative, gave what I considered a great price, and very accommodating to my schedule, location, and auto maintenance needs. Kris was also very honest when there was what I considered a very minor issue with the job, one he could have been less than honest about in the hopes that I wouldn't notice. He even offered to discount the service to offset the price of replacing the part. Of note, the issue is a common one amongst my particular model of car, so I hardly considered it a problem. I would highly recommend Kris and will go to him for my future auto maintenance and repair needs. Thanks, Kris! read more

I think I found my mechanic!! He's so informative, super chill guy and helpful. My issue has been solved!!

I'm not a mechanic but I am mechanically inclined and have been a car guys since I got my license over 18 years ago, I hired Kris to help with my ford lightning because I was going thru family court at the time and needed help fixing my truck so I could focus on more important things. I hired him initially to diagnose a electrical issue which to his credit he fixed fairly quickly. I thought he was going to be a good mechanic and he seemed like a nice guy so I had also hired him to fix a head gasket issue on the same truck. Boy was that a mistake. I paid him 2500 initially which is almost what a legitimate shop would have charged. After he pulled the motor, there are mistakes on his part that were one hundred percent his fault. He had to fix his own mistakes and thought that it was ok to charge me for this. This went on for about 4 weeks because he would come and work but leave after an hour. After he wanted more money to fix his own mistakes and flaking another time, I had enough and told him not to come back. He admitted some fault but only refunded me 380 and I ended up giving him 1500 on top of that for his own damn mistakes. Fast forward to today and six months later, I was having issues with burning oil since he "repaired the head gasket" . Me and a friend pulled the heads off last night and we found that the heads weren't torqued properly and he never cleaned the surface of the heads and scratched the crap outta the heads and that's why my number 5 cylinder was filled with oil from his crappy work he did when changing the head gasket. read more

Kris is an awesome Mechanic and a Wiz at Auto Electronics. And most of all, Kris is very professional and a true gentleman. Kris did some work on my father-in-law's classic BMW e32. One reason that we trusted Kris is that he is a certified BMW technician. But most of all, Kris owned or owns several BMW. He knows what he is doing. We would recommend Kris for your automotive needs. Especially, if you are having electrical problems with your car . . . call Kris. read more

I was referred to A Shore Fix & highly recommended by my usps postal carrier. Kris responded immediately when I made the call. I used A Shore Fix before to take care of my headlight issue. Yesterday, Kris came by to tune up my car. I like the fact that he has the parts (air filter, oil, headlight, spark plugs, etc) available when he comes. Kris is awesome at finishing the job within an hour at the convenience of my home. No more waiting at the auto shop. My car runs excellent & the AC is very cold in this Hot summer Heat. Check out A Shore Fix & give Kris a call. Much Mahalo Kris read more

Although there was an initial reply and a quote, there was no response after making a call, and a few more follow up text messages to schedule an appointment. It's unfortunate that this was this case as I was excited to hire and become a regular. When reading this review, please keep in mind that you might not be getting the service you desire as He might not get back to you. Thank you read more

Great service!! Fast, reliable, & responsive. Going on almost 2 months since Kris replaced my serpentine belt & tensioner & no problems. I like that he was able to give a rate instantly when I told him what needed to be fixed & there were no hidden fees included upon completion. He also ran a diagnostic for me & let me know other things that needed to be fixed in the near future. I will be using again! Thank you read more

This is my go to mechanic! I needed a wheel bearing replaced on my 2004 corolla and Kris quoted half the price that other shops were offering and got the job done in 15 minutes! After having such a great experience with Kris, I reached out to him about my cv axles and he got me in his schedule right away! His shop is mobile so he was conveniently able to meet me right outside my work and replace them in under an hour. He's honest with his price and sent an invoice every time so I knew the amount I was paying and where my money was going before I agreed on the appointments. I highly recommend him for any of your car issues! read more

Kris can damn near do anything to your car. Basic maintenance and repairs to wiring and installs. Kris is very personable and knowledgable in his field. His turnaround times are quick and he's very accomadating with his work on your car. Kris did some work on my LS swapped RX7 awhile back. He installed a few parts here and there that I wasn't able to do myself. Some of the work that Kris did that I was really impressed and happy with was when he installed my AIM digital dash and wired up my AC to work with the LS3 AC components. Highly recommend going to Kris for any vehicle needs! read more

Kris, was absolutely awesome and accommodating! His communication with me was great, he kept in touch, we set up a time and a place and he made the repairs fast. He quoted me a flat rate estimate, where others would not, he came to work on my wife's mini, in our drive way, with the right parts in hand and he fixed the car in a flash. What great service! Thanks Kris for all you did! Highly recommended, professional mobile mechanic. Aloha read more

After getting recommendations from a Big name mechanic shop that I'll keep anonymous to replace all 4 break pads and 4 rotors on my 2015 Ford F-150. Kris was 1 out of 5 business's on Yelp that gave me a response/quote within 24 hrs. I did a lil due diligence on Kris's social media and website and saw that he was a certified ASE Master Technician, Ford and BMW factory trained and also gives a 12 month warranty on his work!Kris's quote came in $1k cheaper than the other guy and estimated 2 hrs to do the work. I called him to confirm time and parts to order but he takes care of it with your vin# or license#, less stress for me. Kris came expecting to do 4 break pads and replace 4 rotors. While inspecting existing front pads he showed me it was only down about 50% and rotors are still good, no need to replace. Back pads were due to replace and his honest opinion on back rotors were still good. I can tell Kris is very good and honest at what he does. I definitely recommend Kris to anyone looking for an Excellent Mechanic that's not trying to rip you off. With everything going on and he's so fast I didn't get to take any pics . Don't be quick to judge when you see his work vehicle, But you'll be amazed when he starts working on your vehicle! If you know, you know. I definitely have more projects to schedule with Kris. Aloha, Mahalo, and may God continue to bless you and your business with an abundance of Wealth! In Jesus name, Amen. read more
