Great Mechanic in Honolulu!
(Kaka'ako)
When I moved to Hawaii, I asked a friend if she could recommend an honest mechanic who does good work. She recommended Eddie's Auto Repair. The owner and mechanic is Mark, and he is definitely both honest and very skilled at diagnosing and fixing car problems. I recently heard a loud metallic bang while driving my Mercedes C280. I thought something had hit my car. Afterwards, I found no body damage, but my trunk lid wouldn't stay up once it was opened. When I brought it to Mark, he found that the trunk bracket had snapped off from wear and tear. He could have charged me lots of money to replace the bracket or weld the old one back on. Instead, he simply reattached the trunk spring to another anchor point. The trunk lid works perfectly again, and he saved me a whole lot of money. Since I live on a fixed income, I really appreciate his ingenuity and sensitivity to keep costs down if at all possible. I highly recommend Eddie's Auto Repair to anyone who's looking for an honest and highly-skilled mechanic. read more
