Best and fastest safety check. Only 15 minutes in and out. Thank you Rudy, friendly and professional.

Walk-in for safety check is very convenient. The girl in the office is fast. Just give her your insurance and registration. pay $26 then wait in your car. Rudy is friendly, professional and efficient. He inspected my vehicle in less than 5 min. The whole experience was about 15 minutes. read more

After years of commitment to Ewa Beach Auto Repair, ive come to the conclusion that I will no longer be recommending or using their services. I am dumbfounded at the experience I just had there. I even brought the incompetence to the inspector himself before voicing this review and he still couldn't wrap common sense around his head if it were in front of him. Ill spare the details before I completely go off track. But for anyone ready for service, please seek other places. read more

Outstanding Service from Ewa Auto Body Shop! I can't say enough good things about Ewa Auto Body Shop and the incredible work they did on my Jeep Grand Cherokee. They were able to pinpoint exactly what was wrong with my vehicle and get me back on the road when I was completely broken down and didn't know where to turn. The entire staff was knowledgeable, friendly, professional, and most importantly, honest. That kind of service is hard to find nowadays, and I truly appreciate the way they treated me. A special thank you to Freddie and the entire team for being there when I needed help the most. You guys went above and beyond, and I'm extremely grateful for all your help. If you're looking for an auto shop you can trust to treat you right and do quality work, I highly recommend Ewa Auto Body Shop. They earned every one of these five stars! read more

Called ahead on a Tuesday to ask about safety inspections, and the gal who answered was very helpful and let me know they perform inspections until 3 PM. When you arrive, you simply park your car and head into the office to pay. The staff asked for my insurance card and registration, and there's a helpful sign at the front desk listing everything you'll need so you can have it ready while waiting in line. The total cost was $26.96 including tax. After paying, I brought my car up to the curb by the front entrance, where the inspector directed me where to park. My inspector was incredibly friendly, informative, and walked me through the entire process. The whole visit took only about 15 minutes from start to finish. Fast, efficient, and excellent customer service. Highly recommend Ewa Auto for your safety inspection, and I'll definitely be back next year! read more

Always come here to get my safety check, they're always so fast and it's first come first serve no appointments which I like. The mechanics are always friendly never dealt with anyone with a bad attitude. As well as the front desk girls they're always so sweet, I never feel intimidated to one in and ask for what I need. I have also gotten one of my tires patched they took about an hour to fix it and it's still holding up. read more

I had a misunderstanding with this business. I sent my wife out to get the safety check done on our 2013 Toyota Sienna. She was denied because the insurance card was expired. I printed it at home that night, and she went back to them and said they wouldn't take the new card. I started to get really irritated cause every time my wife goes out to do something like this, it ends up being harder than what it should be in my opinion. My wife was telling me that the card that I printed out said that it was only considered valid if it was viewed through the app. My wife tried explaining it to me, but I got more irritated because her explanation didn't make sense to me. I decided to go there in person after my wife left to find out what was going on. I drove all the way from Kailua to the shop in Ewa and was honestly steaming mad cause the whole reason I asked my wife to do it was because I was busy with our business affairs and was trying to delegate some of the workload and now it was getting messy--again. Anyway, I walk into the door and am greeted by this really sweet girl. I tell them that I am the husband of the lady with the white sienna. I wanted to know what was going on so I asked what the deal was. They explained that me texting the picture of the card was ok, but the printed copy just wouldn't work. It was a very simple explanation that I understood. What really stood out to me is that there wasn't one moment while I was in there that the owner in the back or any of the guy workers or the girl at the front lost their composure. They remained professional. The girl kept smiling the entire time, and I was just unable to stay mad anymore. Fire in me...poof...gone. Strangely, I walked out of there just overall impressed with their responses despite me walking in there with "Asshole attitude" stamped all over my face. I've also been talking our vehicles here for a number of years to do safety checks. I find it a valuable service because they are always quick and friendly. Thank you all again for keeping your professional composure and your wonderful smiles. read more

First time coming here for my safety check and it was a smooth experience. I went during the first week of March on a Monday morning around 9am. Checked in at the office and was second in line. Paid the lovely lady managing the front with a credit card and total was about $25 for the safety check. There are a few chairs inside the small office if you need to wait, but I didn't have to. After paying, I drove my car to the front where three guys were ready to do inspections. Rudy helped me and he was friendly, fast, and efficient. You stay inside your car while he walks you through what to do, which made everything easy. He also noticed a nail in my tire that I had no idea was there. I really appreciated the good eye because I was able to get it fixed right after. Once my car passed, he placed the safety sticker on and handed me the inspection paperwork. Overall, quick and easy service. I'll definitely be coming back again next year! read more

It's that time of the year again that I needed safety check as service. I notice cost was better than what my dad stated where he goes. Haha well, I Went and did a walk in after I picked my kids from school. Front desk said it'll take 5-10 mins u til I'm next and that I can wait in the van with my kids and they'll come and get me and direct me what to do. Normally I drop my keys off and walk around but this time I wasn't with the hubby and I had 4 kids with me (2 elementary kids, a toddler and an infant) and not much places to walk around since longs closed. Anyway, I waited in the car about 5 mins and they came to direct me to the front. The worker did his thang in such an orderly fashion which was fast and easy. It was really less than 5 mins from start to beginning. He slapped the sticker on my vehicle and off I went. Guess what...I did a walk in couple days later for another safety check haha wait and service was little longer but it went well! read more

- Fast, professional and my go to for safety inspections I stopped by this shop this past Thursday to get a safety inspection on my motorcycle. Even though they were busy they still took care of me without any hassle. The two ladies at the front desk were very professional - friendly, organized, and got me checked in quickly. The two guys who performed the inspection were just as good: efficient, knowledgeable, and respectful of my time. This is my regular shop for vehicle safety inspections, and they've never let me down. Fast, professional, and reliable. I highly recommend them. read more

You would think these guys would cost a lot of money because they are the only shop in Ewa Beach. The hardest part is just getting a safety check because so many people line up in the morning. But these guys are honest, and don't charge a lot. I always bring my cars here! read more

This place has really streamlined the safety inspection process! No appointment needed, just walk in, pay (less than many other places I've been), drive in line, car gets inspected, paperwork handed over, and out! They made this so quick and painless, I'm mad at myself for only finding them this week after all these years of appointments and waiting in lines at other places. Now, they're not an overly friendly bunch and do try to move the line quickly, so bear that in mind, but if you come prepared and have a similar all business attitude, this is the place for you. I will definitely be going back for all future safety checks. read more

Do not take your vehicle to this place they will over charge you and they will half ass the job.

Specifically came to Ewa Beach Auto Repair for my car's first safety check inspection. Found this place from a Google search and a Yelp Reviews inspection. Located near the end of Ewa, on the right side of the shopping center that has a Longs and McDonald's, but nearest to the Ewa Beach US Post office is where you find this shop. Parking might be a bit hard if the area is busy, but its required for you to park in a stall in check in for your safety inspection at their office. Proof of insurance and Car registration is required and I paid about $26 and change for my mid size SUV. Receptionist was very nice and welcoming. Everyone else in the shop was nice since the office area is small, the other workers where walking back and forth helping other customers but we're very polite while walking between me and 3 other customers waiting in line for their safety check check in. Once your documents are verified and you paid, you can then roll your car around to get in line for your safety check inspection. It's all walk ins and you get to stay in your car! They ask you when to roll up, when to turn on certain lights, windshield wipers, etc. With me being there from beginning to end and them helping me with 5 customers in front of me, I was there for about 25 minutes. I also did come mid day on a weekday mid month. Definitely recommend this place for a quick and efficient safety check inspection. read more

Breaks dashboard and blames the car for being old. LOL. Continues to tap roughly on the car's dash, BREAKS IT, & says, "see". A JOKE. No accountability. Didn't even offer to fix it, RECOMMEND WHERE I MIGHT BE ABLE TO FIX IT, OR offer any type of payment, discount, etc. read more

This place is conveniently located at the Ewa beach shopping center behind the Pet Depot at the end of Fort Weaver road. Every year I bring my cars here for their safety check. The staff is pleasant & they are quick to get you in & out. read more

If you plan on getting your vehicle or motorcycle repaired or safety check. The manager is an asshole. Has bad attitude and even asking a question , he rolls his eyes and get that upset look like he doesn't even care for customer .Why even be there if you don't like your job. Very unprofessional and if manger has that what do you think the work will be ? Take it to a professional that gives you a smile and love what he does and you will get good workmanship and quality. Don't go there and feel like I should have gone with another shop. read more

Hardest part of having car safety inspection done here was showing up with the correct paperwork! I usually leave all the car stuff to the other half to do. However this time I didn't have a choice. Come early for inspection with CURRENT car insurance for the correct vehicle (I had the wrong insurance card for the wrong car) and your car registration. When they call your name, drive up, have them "inspect," your car, pay and drive away with new sticky bling. The line may seem intimidating especially towards the end of the month but it moves quickly! read more

I can't say enough great things about Ewa Beach Auto Repair! I go there for all of my repairs and always get my safety check done there -- they have consistently earned my trust. Fred helped me during my most recent visit, and he was outstanding. He took the time to explain what was going on with my vehicle in a way that was clear and honest, which I really appreciated. You can tell the team is extremely knowledgeable and experienced. Everyone there is so nice, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. On top of that, their prices are very, very reasonable -- especially for the high level of service you receive. It's rare to find an auto shop that combines professionalism, transparency, and great customer care the way they do. If you're looking for a reliable, trustworthy place for repairs or safety checks in Ewa Beach, I highly recommend them. Fred and the whole team are fantastic! read more

Went here for a walk-in safety check. The employees are so easy to talk to and just here to spread aloha

Just went in for my safety check. There was eight cars in front of me. Only waited 30mins for my car to be checked. The whole process was smooth and effective. They got the system down. Thank you read more

The efficiency of this place needs to be studied. I waited til the last minute to do my safety check (I'm just a girl ok). I called around asking about availability, This was the 4th business I called -- I'm based in Kapolei so I tried everyone in Kapolei first. No luck. Next best area is my hometown. The receptionist was quick to answer on the second ring, unfortunately she didn't mention her name so I can't credit her ): but she was kind and told me the wait was 20min. It took 5min to drive there -- upon arriving, the safety check took 15min. Cost was $25. I was shocked at how fast they were! This is my new go to -- it's always better to support local! read more

rought my boat trailers here for a safety check and had a great experience. The crew at Ewa Auto Repair was super helpful, in a good mood, and got everything done fast. Safety checks and quick and easy. Staff is all very friendly and helpful. I spoke to them briefly about upgrades to my mini and I received a lot of helpful information! Quick and ez Safety Check every year :-D They go extra mile on neatness of sticker placement

Did a safety check. It was a walk in and they were able to accommodate me pretty quickly. Service was quick too

I broke down one day, dropped my truck off and went to work. They called me and said my battery was shot and they had to change battery, serpentine belt, and the belt tensioner. I pick up my truck and the bill is $1600 for those three parts. I broke down two days later electrical problem. Wouldn't recommend them to anyone! read more

Shoutout to this place. My normal shop I go to for safety unfortunately closed down. So had to find a new spot. Other places I called around and either you need an appointment or other places are limited times like from 9am-2pm which I think limits their bussiness. Oh wells. Anyway, came upon this spot since I yelped it and wanted to give it a shot. Other places I called and looked on yelp said they have 1-2 hour wait sometimes all day like for a safety check? Maybe they have one person so everything? Not sure but that's not how you run a bussiness specially if you want to have money coming in. Hire a special person just to focus on safety checks! When I called, lady in front was very prompt to answering literally half a ring and picked up. Which is great and I liked instead of ringing for 5 mins like other places. When I came to the shop, GPS took me right to Texaco gas station. I had to call to ask exactly where they were. Lady told me by post office right across which is funny because I go to the post office all the time and knew this was a car shop place but never knew the name of the shop. Now I know. Service was fast. I was seen right away. In and out since they had a couple people doing safety checks! Gave the front receptionist small tip including the safety guy who did my car! That's how I like it, speedy, fast and professional. If other places was like this I would go to them but this will most likely be my to go to place for safety checks for my vehicles. Nice job I will return next year again!!! If it's prompt like this again will again be tipping. Thank you!! read more

The team here is amazing. I'm not from the area and drove in from Waianae on a Saturday. They were very quick with my safety check. I was in and out in under 20 minutes. No extra fees or anything.
