They were able to accommodate my friend and I and within few hours notice and I thought that was really nice. Place is super clean and atmosphere is great We got there and within few Minutes we were both taken to our room for the massage. I have preferred to get separate rooms because my husband is known to fall asleep and snore (not relaxing for me) I carry my stress in my upper back and neck/shoulder area and was very much looking forward to this. He noticed right away I had many knots and was was able to get so many out, he followed that with a gentle/deep tissue massage in the same area. *Update 12/1 So my husband are still going to the spa, and everything is still going good. So my husband and I wanted to do something on a raining day. So I got us a couples massage Asian combo #2. I read the reviews first to see what others had to say, and it was pretty much a mixed review, so I decided to check it out for myself. We got to our couples appointment 15 mins prior, and shorty after we were taken to our room. Let me first let you all know you can't compare this small business to the other larger chains in the area. The ladies started our massages right away-all I can say is they did an AMAZING job, we had hot stones and all- there was soothing music playing, the ladies did not talk to much, unlike some of the other reviewers stated. Cons: There are two things about the place that could use improvement- they heated the hot stones in the microwave so the ladies had to leave the room to do so. Maybe the owner should invest in some hot stone kits for all the rooms. They have tile like flooring so you can hear next door the technician rolling on the stool, and the walls are paper thin, so I could hear the next door person talking a bit. But as my husband mentioned to me, just focus on your massage and tune out everything else. They also have paper Dixie cups for water, no big deal to me- I take my own water after all massages anyways. But some people were complaining about the cups in their reviews. It's not a big fancy business but I'd take this place over any of the other ones in town- it's all about your massage not selling me products worth hundred of dollars. Pros: I like the fact that there all about doing the massage and not pushing products or memberships down your throats. And let me add the fact that the memberships are ONLY $25 a year NOT a month by year. So pretty much each type of massage would be about $10 off, if your a member. I felt tranquility from the moment I walked through the doors where I was greeted by happy green plants. The facilities looked very clean from what I noticed including the massage room. The bed smelled fresh and sheets/blankets were clean. I didn't feel concerned at all. I walked on the floor from the bed to couch before putting on my shoes and my feet were clean. My masseuse, Nicole, was very pleasant and thorough - wow super strong hands. She checked in with me regarding pressure a few times and was VERY professional yet kind. I was gifted a massage from my mom for Christmas, as I have lumbar pain. While my issue won't magically disappear, this was such a much needed, relaxing experience and I will certainly budget appropriately to enjoy this treatment again. I can't wait to return. I am unsure what other Yelpers complained about. Being a cash only business is their prerogative and I was actually told when I made the appointment. So, it was not a surprise. On a side note, having worked in merchant services, the fees are ridiculous for a small businesses. Bank cards might be more convenient, nevertheless, every business has a right to operate how they see fit. While this was my first visit and in the morning, I am confident that my follow up visit will be just as pleasant. BTW, the hot towels at the end. Perfect.
